REVIEWS OF Agrarian Market IN Picton

Nice market featuring locally-sourced foods and -- more importantly -- a well-stocked bakery with treats they make themselves; what a nice change! -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Timothy Baxter

Food is amazing meat and baked goods are amazing coffee is amazing its overpriced but there not forcing you to shop there only thing that bothers me is the vacuumed sealed meat the meat with higher fat contents in it just falls apart when you unseal it

Sandra Marks

Visited this shop frequently during a recent trip to Picton. So many great products to try. We enjoyed the ready made dinners (as we were staying at an airbnb). Fresh bread and pastries were yummy. The cinnamon buns were probably the best (in the category of not overly sweet and sticky) that I have EVER eaten. Just wow! We really enjoyed getting a cappuccino to go, so much so, that we had to get one as we were leaving town (as well as 2 cinnamon buns to put into the freezer for when we need a pick me up). And we got a pound of those Shogun espresso beans to bring back home!! Seriously good beans!

Great staff and product! My new favourite place in the county

Cathy Bogaart

We had a peanut butter chocolate cheesecake (good) and the peanut butter chocolate tart (wow! Highly recommend!) as well as a cup of coffee (very good!). We were happy to browse all the interesting foods and wished we could have tried more items. Only thing is that not everything is from the County. Some things were from Italy, which I found confusing.

Great atmosphere and loads and loads of delicious stuff.

We travel from Belleville to come here for cheese all the time. The selection and quality of the cheese here is out of control. They have the dirtiest blue around and the smoothest goat cheese straight from QC. If you're unsure of what you'd like to take home, the staff are very friendly and will offer some samples to make sure your cheese plate is properly put together!

(Translated) We stopped there for a box of picnic on the way back. We had a sandwich on chabata, two nice chunks of cheese and two packets of sliced sears, a small container of red pepper jelly and another of black olive spread, a large bottle of sparkling water, two large cookies. pieces of chocolates, two napkins and two packages of utensils. So here is where it goes wrong. A sandwich for two not cut in advance, imagine the disaster with a plastic knife. The sausages were vacuum packed ... so we can eat them at home or not. Although they had a very nice truth about cold cuts, they never asked us if we had a preference. And a sausage with chorizo when you don't like spiciness ... The cheeses: one was an aged cheddar, really very good, the other a creamy one ... and yes there was no real support for this one, and the two spreads. They will also be eaten at home. Finally, I find that $ 45 for a sandwich, a chunk of cheese, two cookies and a big bottle of water (without a glass) is expensive for the picnic and not very filling. Obviously, we'll eat the rest at home, but that was not the goal.

Great Picnic Lunch for 2 here, the cheeses were full size and you get a whole box of crackers, a sandwich, 2 meat selections 2 large cookies, 2 drinks, olive tapenade and red pepper jelly, and a metal knife to cut your cheese. Would love to come back and try different items in their store.

The owner and staff are delightful. The food is great with lots of County selections which, let's face it, if you're in the County you want.

Carmen

I came with a friend and stopped by. Discovered a local soda drink and bought two flavours. Service was good; the products they sold were the likes of a bakery and deli/takeout/prepared food place. Some items were over priced e.g gluten free chips and pretzels.

R. Desmond

Samantha Henderson

Small market with good variety of products and yummy baked goods/coffee. Fairly pricey, though they do have some unique things that I imagine are hard to find elsewhere. We really enjoyed the blue cheese and jalapeno dried sausage from the deli, and even returned to buy two more. Their scones (only available Sundays) were also fantastic. The staff seemed very knowledgeable about the cheeses and meats available at the deli, including which ones came from local farms.

Igor Sataric

Excellent choice of a fine Italian pasta, tomato sauce, dried meat, cheese, beautiful BBQ steak .... Espresso and croissant to start the day of a Main Street visit? A perfect place!
