The store is clean and staff are friendly enough. You can find things here in little 'ole Perth that you cannot find elsewhere in town, it saves a drive to Whole Foods in Ottawa for example. That being said, it is too bad there isn't a bigger meat section. Would like to see grass-fed beef available for purchase.

Foodsmiths is a wonderful refuge from the busy-ness of large chain stores. It's my go-to for all of my vegan diet needs and I always return home with treats, bakery items, cheese and locally source meat for my carnivore boys at home! In an effort to treat my skin kindly, I purchase all of my skin care/makeup here too. One-stop shopping! All staff are wonderful, from the greeting in the produce department, to the selecting artisan cheese, the lovely lady helping me to choose my reading glasses and all the way to the cashier. Well done, Foodsmiths!

Expensive but they carry food other stores don't. I bought a blue cheese from France and it was the BEST blue cheese I ever had ????. They carry my favorite veggie pate ( from Fontaine sante) that I usually only find in Quebec, that was a very nice surprise. Love the row of bulk food as you come in. I recommend.

I really like this store. Very clean and well organized. I like the prepared food and fresh produce. My wife likes all specialty boxed dried goods, but I think they’re all overpriced for what it is, but I guess people like it anyway.

Any food you want can be found here. We have an elder friend who has a very strict diet, and consequently needs very specific foods like cheese with under a certain milk fat rating and chocolate with a specific range of cocoa, and this store and it staff always deliver. There is a massive selection of quality products with organics and local foods available too. High quality meats, produce, dry goods, freezer, dairy products and sweets all available. Also a selection of comfort products like pillows and birkenstock sandals also available. Staff are incredibly helpful as they always drop what they are doing to come and help you find exactly what you need. Prices are in the high range because you are getting the high quality products with a high selection and high quality service to boot. Because of the higher range, I would not be able to buy all my food here, but any products that I dont compromise on quality would bought here. Overall great selection of foods, great quality, and great service!

I heard this store had been given some type of award for how their establishment is layed out and when I went in I understood why. I enjoyed shopping there and it is clean and well organized too. Also, they have so much variety with holistic products I seriously would not have to go anywhere else. My only complaint would be their cashier staff isn't the friendliest I've ever come across.

Lots of choices. I was very happy to find the wild rice I was looking for. It is so hard to find it and they don't sell the wild rice in any supermarket, so I was very happy to find what I was looking for. Prices are faire. Lots of free parking and wheelchair accessible.

I do most of my weekly shopping at Foodsmiths and rarely need to go elsewhere to find anything else. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the produce, in particular, is exceptional. A great source for microgreens and local chocolate ???? Bulk items are plenty and the health & beauty section is well-stocked.

This is a lovely grocery store with excellent selection and high quality products. The prepared foods are also excellent. The staff at this location are friendly and helpful as are many of the customers. Safety is taken care of here during Covid as well. All in all, well worth the trip even though I’m out of town. This was my first time there. I have to honestly say it is the best!! The produce was fresh and vibrant colors. The products were displayed perfectly on shelves and everything was well labeled. The cleanliness of the store was impeccable. They follow all the covid regulations. The prices are reasonable. They have supplements you can't seem to get anywhere else. The employees: well they were all very friendly positive, helpful and knowledgeable. I felt welcomed like being invited into a neighbour's home for tea!! I will certainly be going back. I highly recommend FOODSMITHS!! Thankyou!!

A bit upscale but great produce and variety. Walking out the store after buying some groceries, the paper bag I was carrying ripped and a glass bottle of soda water broke. One of the ladies came right out to see if I was ok and cleaned up the glass for me and told me to get another bottle to replace the broken one. Such great customer service!

Great store packed with all kinds of delicious produce, fresh quality veggies, bulk bins and a whole gluten free aisle, they also have lots of ethnic ingredients for those people who like a bit of spice! They even offer fresh coffee (which is much better than the other stuff thats available out there) to drink while you browse the store for goods. Can't find something? Simply ask one of the super friendly staff. Overall a fantastic experience and a welcoming environment.

Parking lot is small and not planned out very well. Store is very small and not a ton of room to move around. Prices are super high compared to same things in other stores. I dont think I would go back to this place due to all the issues. I wouldnt recommend going unless you really dont like going to the bigger guys. The store does feel very local tho.
