There is one staff member who isn't very customer friendly and have stayed away. Haven't been in a couple of months, but plan to go back as coffee and food was very good. Hopefully, mean employee will have moved on.

Great coffee and great scones. A fairly quiet atmosphere to read or visit with friends. A very interesting old building and famous shoe factory, just a few blocks from the downtown core of Perth. Staff is reasonably friendly but not very social, probably due to their focus on food preparation and presentation. A nice change from some of the coffee chains.

Cafe Bean has a warm, laid back atmosphere. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Their coffee is the best I've ever tasted - bar none. They have a good variety of drinks and delicious home made baked goods. I can't recommend it enough. I love this place.

Great place for coffee and food! The space is big with varied seating. Lots of parking and good coffee (light med dark drip plus espresso drinks). Lovely space and friendly service. Lots of space if there are children in your crew, head to the back room where there is a couch and also a sunny lobby beyond that

Beautiful little Shop in a neat refurbished building. Coffee was just okay. We tried a flavored drink and had chemically taste. Will try plain coffee sometime. Would like to try their food as well

The grilled veggie panini is super delicious. Great coffee - snacks, like cookies and scones are far too sweet, a shame - biting into the cookie is like biting into solid brown sugar - however cappuccinos and other prepared coffees are fantastic - I hope this place survives corona

Great place for a gathering as it has a nice atmosphere. But I'd say it's not a place if you are Espresso coffee lovers(like cappuccino, lattes).. Despite the staffs were helpful, it was just not a proper espresso shot which causes super watery cappuccinos and lattes... Since the price of espresso coffee menu were pricy enough, I expect the quality of taste of them would be better

Stopped in for a late lunch and had the steak and cheese with a large medium roast coffee, the sandwich was great, lots of meat, melted cheese, whole wheat bread toasted, coffee was great, highly recommended a stop by.

Food was delish and fresh (had the BLT and Toasty Fat). Hot chocolate was not very sweet and it was more milk than chocolate and it was covered in whipped cream - personal dislike. The coffee was only alright, and they didn't offer a light roast. Interior set up is nice but there could be more art on the walls. Overall we’d come back.

Stopped here first thing in the morning and got a chai latte and a scone that had just come out of the oven. The white chocolate cranberry scone was amazing. The chai latte was made with real chai tea and was wonderful.

The older woman (owner/manager?) here is so unpleasant. It’s like I’m annoying her just by walking in the front door. The food was good, until I found what appeared to be a chunk of torn off finger nail in my scone ???? the customer service and hygiene are both questionable at best. I would speak to the manager about it instead of posting a poor review, however considering her attitude in general I don’t think it would go well.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the treats are delicious.. but I get to the counter, order a macchiato , which was on their menu. The lady looked at me and said she didn't know how to make it. She didn't ask anyone for help or try to figure it out, just told me to get something else.. Don't have something on your menu if you can't make it.
