The service here left a lot to be desired. While some staff were nice, and the food came out quite quickly, it was not an experience for the diner. The greeting staff member seemed annoyed that we were mostly English (although we had one French speaking member), and didn't make us feel welcome. It felt rushed, and that the restaurant is there simply as a tourist trap. Very transactional. The food came on cafeteria trays, and it was served on styrofoam plates. We went up to the counter to order, and once we had ordered, we didn't hear from any staff again. We had to get up to get our own water, which was more complicated by the fact that the tables are quite close together, even though only half the tables in the restaurant were occupied at the time. The poutine was mediocre at best. However, the fish in the fish and chips tasted fresh, and was done quite well with the breading. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this place if you are in Perce.

Went here several times. Their ordering and serving system works really well. The staff is very helpful ,well organized and even went to the trouble of bringing a bowl of water for my dog. The fish soup is really tasty, reminded me of fish soup in Costa Rica. And the lobster rolls are perfect, big chunks of lobster, just enough lettuce and the traditional toasted bun. Be sure to ask for extra mayo on the side.

What stood out the most about this place was their service. We were greeted warmly by few servers as soon as we arrived. Portion sizes and quality of the food was also good. Great location, amazing patio. Fast service and fair prices. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because the mussels we ordered (though fresh and plentiful) lacked taste. We asked for lemons attempting to give it some flavour. A little bit of garlic, or butter or lemon would have made it perfect. Also there was no bread given to dip in the sauce, just a whole lot of fries which I wouldn’t dip in mussel sauce ???? We will go back there to try other dishes, mainly because their servers were friendly and a number of them could speak English, which is so very helpful if you’re traveling.

Being so close to the ocean I had very high expectations for the seafood portion of our meal. It is a well located place and also has a milk bar for desert when you finish your meal. I ordered the lobster roll and the shrimp poutine. The poutine was very good but over powers the shrimp in the dish. I would just order the regular poutine next time. The shrimp were very tender however. Next the lobster roll which was 17$ was so-so. The lobster had almost no flavour. Maybe frozen? I felt the final price was kinda expensive however it is to be expected when seafood is involved. Final review 3/5 - great poutine - lobster roll can be skipped.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant as we were walking the city, we're glad we did! We ordered the fish and chips, as well as onion rings. Both were served piping hot, fresh, and were very tasty. Not to mention, the prices were excellent, better than other places nearby. They're located right across from the boardwalk, so there's lots of foot traffic. They have an indoor area, a seating area in the front (terrasse) as well as a small ice cream counter off to the left.

Forget ordering the lobster club sandwich, don't get me wrong, it's a good sandwich but I'd have been happy with the lobster on a hot dog bun (it's their version of a lobster roll). The lobster club sandwich consists of three pieces of toast, one layer of lobster and then one layer of tomato and lettuce. No bacon, how can you have a club sandwich without bacon? Please understand, I've never had a lobster club sandwich before this evening and what I had was good, I would have another. I'm just wondering what the sandwich would have been like with bacon! We went there feeling excited about the menu. However, the customer service was HORRIBLE. Surprisingly the owner/manager was the worst person there. My husband and I ordered food and afterwards checked the receipt only to notice we were charged 5$ extra for something. We went back to understand why this happened and the owner/ manager came outside of his office tore up our receipt, threw a pen at us, threw cash at us and kicked us out of the restaurant. Une fois arrivé à la voiture, nous avons ouvert l’emballage pour constater qu’il consistait simplement de 2 pains hot dogs avec des morceaux de poulet et crevettes, mais sans rien de plus, même pas de sauce ou de mayonnaise! Et ce pour le coût de 19$ en tout! Nous sommes immédiatement retournés au restau et avons expliqué notre déception au gérant qui au lieu de nous écouter, a violemment repris le sac contenant les guedilles et est allé cherché le montant de 19$ dans le registre qu’il est venu ensuite lancer vers nous. Il est ensuite reparti sans plus. J’étais complètement choquée de cette réaction. En tant que cliente dans un restaurant je n’ai jamais été traitée de cette manière et je ne remettrais plus JAMAIS les pieds dans cet établissement. C’EST INACCEPTABLE DE SE CONDUIRE PAREILLEMENT AVEC DES CLIENTS!
