Our first time here and the food was amazing, pancakes are fluffy, sausage has a nice snap to it, bacon is perfect, and the spicy hollandaise is just fantastic. Big portions are great for 2 or more people.

If you do eat here I strongly recommend the BC Bowl . It’s soo delicious. The small can feed 2 or 3 people. Personally I prefer mine without tomato’s but there’s other types of breakfast bowls too! They are all delicious and worth it . Also if you aren’t in the mood for breakfast they have a HUGE lunch menu ! With tons of yummy options . Make a great BLT too!

This place was delicious and our server was great. I had the apple pie waffles and they were to die for. It was such a big serving, I could only eat a third of it. It was very busy when we were there and I understand it is always like that there. Our server knew her stuff and refilled our waters and coffees without our prompting. The only downside is that there are only one or two single stall washrooms there and they were busy the whole time we were there. I would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to go again when I'm in the area.

Had THE worst treatment I could ever have imagined here. Had a hair in my food. Returned the plate, after having exactly 2 bites of it. Was told to pay even though I didn't eat it. When I refused I was told to get the blank out and never set foot back. Unbelievable!

Huuuge portions - prices aren't cheap, but many of the plates are shareable between two people (and still have leftovers!) It's exactly as the name suggests - its comfort food! Cute little independent diner feel. Waits can be long depending on time and day of the week, but anywhere worth its salt will have a wait.

I live in Port Coquitlam, and every year on me and my buddy's annual eastward camping trip, Terry's is an absolute must visit. Over priced. My pan fried potatoes were burnt and tasted like they werent washed before being cooked. My poached eggs weren't cooked all the way even though I didnt order them soft. My boyfriends fries were undercooked and dripping in grease. Very disappointed, heard great things about Terry's, I've had better food at dennys in saskatoon.. and that says alot considering our dennys sucks. Would not reccomend.

Owner is sure rude to a customer who has a mask exemption. There is no empathy there. I felt really embarrassed for this customer. The Government says they are to have compassion towards people and they wouldn’t charge them a fine regarding this. As she said “ this is my business and I am not putting up with this”! Well I’m sure customers who get treated this way will fine a restaurant who has great customer service and won’t think twice of entering this establishment. This owner just might just want to remember who pays her bills.

Came for breakfast from out of town. While the food was good, the prices are pretty insane (average 15-17 bucks for normal breakfast platter). We also waited 45 minutes from the time we ordered until the time our food came. Again, good food, staff was pleasant, but the prices are very high and the place seemed a bit unorganized (perhaps this was due to us coming on an understaffed day and particularly busy time, I’m not sure).

The breakfast for my two kids was a great size. My breakfast bowl(regular size) was absolutely massive and completely delicious. My wife's omelet was also massive and very well made. Everything on everyplate was delicious. 10/10 would go here again. Slightly on the pricier side for breakfast but considering the quality and quantity of food is extremely worth the couple extra bucks.

Honestly hands down delicious! We ordered the Texan bowl and an English moofin ???? Everyone at the restaurant was so polite, friendly, and the food was amazing with very generous portions! We ended up taking the food to a local cidery and enjoyed our meal over a rosé cider. We will be back, that was amazing!!

My family and I visited this restaurant on Thursday, August 8, 2019 and I must say it was not a positive experience. We had to wait almost an HOUR for our breakfast, and then the quality was sub par to anywhere else I've had breakfast. My daughter asked for a hard poached egg... It was soft. Not acceptable! The hashbrowns were overcooked and tasted awful. We love hashbrowns and all family members didn't even eat theirs. Breakfast is not a hard meal to master and I left this restaurant very dissatisfied.... When I could finally mention our concerns to our server (as she was never around to serve us) , all she offered was "sorry". This overpriced restaurant is not worth the visit. I will never come back. Don't waste your money here!

Too much money for what it is. My husband ordered the corned beef hash that only came with 1 egg so he had to add an extra egg for a $1.50. It hardly had any coned beef in it making it a very expensive plate of hashbrowns and on top of that he asked for medium poached eggs but one was well done. My two eggs and bacon was ok but I found the pan fried potatoes more burned than fried. All this with 2 coffe cost $45.

A lot of my clients cannot eat out much around town due to the additives in the food, and Terry’s is one place I can almost always recommend for a great, classic breakfast even for those with allergies. This was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting much more than a standard diner, but I left quite impressed. First, they had the most deliberate and diligent cleaning and sanitizing regimen I’ve seen so far during the COVID era. Second, they had some really interesting variants beyond the typical diner options - I ordered the Texan breakfast bowl. It’s a very generous serving that comes with a signature Soucy hollandaise that was excellent. There’s also a homemade Mexican hot sauce that was very tasty. My only disappointment was for our table of five, I was seated almost directly in the washroom entry area. Still, I’ll be back!

After being totally stunned by the menu prices and the couple of flies buzzing around the table we thought, "I'll bet it will be real good at these prices" we pulled the trigger and ordered from the menu that listed a cup of chili and a piece of toast for $16.99. We were looking forward to a comfort food breakfast but we were so completely disappointed. I ordered a couple of eggs, sausage links and well done hash browns with an English Muffin. The muffin was cold and did not include butter (I had to ask for butter and I wondered if I would be charged extra), the sausage tasted like cardboard and the hash browns were dry and undercooked. Bad rock and roll, blared from an equally bad radio in the kitchen, which was open. My friend ordered eggs Benedict on ciabatta, it was not toasted and had a very slim slice of tomato end that still contained the green stem. The hollandaise was cold, flavorless and her hash browns were dry and under cooked. The server seemed mildly apologetically friendly, the focus of the staff was primarily on getting the check paid. It was a $40 lesson, without coffee, in where to eat breakfast in Penticton. I overheard the manager tell the cook "less is always more". In this case I would agree.

We go to Terry's everytime were in penticton visiting family. I go specifically for the apple pie pancakes. In the last years I kinda feel like they've gone downhill a bit (the first couple times, they get brought out and you're like wow!, but they don't have the wow factor anymore - the presentation just isn't there). I came here with my parents and my brother and his family of 6 who I see once or twice a year, and they made us split up and sit across the restaurant from each other beside strangers when there was lots of room and available tables for us to sit together. The manager or whoever was behind the desk was so cranky and unaccomidating. I get that there are new rules with covid but hers made absolutely no sense. The server was pleasant, thankfully. But the food wasn't as good as I remember either. I won't be coming back here again.

Also, waiting 40 minutes for food when there are only 4 customers, then receiving food that is NOT hot, basically room temp has turned me off this place. Quality of ingredients is good, but that kitchen needs to get a grip. I ordered Corned beef hash, my GF had 2 pancakes and 4 slices of bacon.... it came to 40 dollars!!!!!! Are you kidding me? 6.00 for 4 slices of bacon. 11.00 for 2 pancakes. Get a grip!

Maybe a little more pricier than other places and the meal wait time also a little longer, but in the end the lunch was well worth it. Burger had real cheese on it and the fries were hand cut and not pre salted by the cook. Will definitely go back and try the breakfast. Service was also friendly and efficient.

This was truly a highlight of the trip to Pentiction. Split the big easy and the Texan bowl. Big easy was good, Texan bowl was out of this world. It's pricey for the full size, but you'll have leftovers. Soo good. Only downsides, it's a small building and a busy place, if you get there at the wrong time it'll definitely be a wait. That and being so full when I left I could barely breath haha. Gonna have to come back and try the Mexican bowl before we leave. Definitely recommended!

Every summer a buddy and myself make a 4+ hour drive up this way to do two things. Go to Summerland Sweets to stock up on Jam and Syrup for the year and most importantly, get brunch at Terry's. Terry's is something special. You look at this place from the outside and you think "Greasy spoon" there is no hip trendy decor inside and the logo looks like it was done in Windows 98 on paint. But something about this place hits like nothing else. I have had fondue in the Swiss alps, I have had kangaroo beet burgers Down Under, and veal schnitzel in Austria, but do you know what rises above it all? Terry's. I am dead serious, I don't joke about Terry's. There is something about this place that just clicks. I am not a religious man, but I worship Terry for bringing this otherworldly experience to mankind. The world does not deserve this place, but it is a gift the brunch gods have bestowed upon the undeserving. If this mysterious Terry appeared and started a cult, I would be their right hand man, first inline at the Kool-Aid Bowl. If Terry told me about an awesome job opportunity where I could work from home, set my own hours and have the potential to make 3 figures, I would go to the meeting he/she told me about. If Terry played hockey, he/she would break Gretzky's points record. Guaranteed. I Strongly recommend the Benny, and the shredded hash browns are world beaters. Service was good. Portions were large. I ordered the B.C. Bowl and was underwhelmed because of how burnt the toast was and the potatoes were over fried. Not writing this place off though because I think I should have just ordered a different dish. I was surprised at how they nickel and dime you. There’s an extra charge for modifying your sides depending on what it is and then on top of that an extra flat rate modification charge. E.g., $2 for changing potatoes to hash and then another extra $2.50 just for a modification charge.

Thought I would try Terry's . Got a coffee and left after I saw the prices. Their bowls are $19.99 or $16.99 for a smaller portion. You can get that at shades in a cleaner restaurant for $13.50. $10 for a singular waffle, no sides. $13.50 for the Terry's version of an egg mcmuffin (only one) with hashbrowms. Maybe if the restaurant was nicer with a more diverse menu would I spend that much but look at the other reviews...its a hole in the wall.

Did an order for pickup this morning. The menu on Google says that the meal was $17 before tax and tip. The menu has not been updated on here so this was actually a wopping $28.88 before tip!!!! Thats like entree chicken dinner prices with a beer. So, the food is way overpriced. The quality is subpar. They use the typical cheap thin dry bacon and the Costco bulk sausages. The hashbrowns were cooked to a crisp so extremely dry and hard. For a premium price I'd expect quality food. The service was awesome but that's about all that was good about this experience.

Went last weekend for a quick breakfast with my friends, staff were so quick and sweet. It closes at 2pm, and it was about 2:10pm when we were wrapping everything up and went up to pay when I heard the owner in the back screaming and cussing at the staff (I don't think she realized we were there) - I listened in more and it was absolute trash. There is no reason to speak to your employees that inhumane regardless of the reason. If its something that bad, let them go. You serve eggs and toast, relax bootleg Gordon Ramsay.

Ordered a veggie burger takeout...stood inside the restaurant for over 10 minutes (I was acknowledged by the waitress when I walked in the door) while my order sat on the counter. The waitress served other tables coffee and brought them menus while my food order sat there - even the two cooks were looking at me confused and one even came out from the kitchen to see what she was doing...which was talking on the phone. My food was cold and soggy (thumb went through the bun when I picked it up - disgusting). Wasted over $20 for food that went in the garbage. Not a great way to treat a local who will no longer support your business.

Good but overpriced. Eg. ONE egg benedict on a half English muffin with some hash browns on the side... 16.50. if you want 2 eggs, almost $19. The food is good, but not that good! The second time we went there about 11:30 am, had a coffee and looked at the menu, decided this is crazy and went to the Greek place down the street for an amazing filling lunch for $18. Probably won't go back. I'm guessing they don't have as many "regulars" as they could have if they lowered the prices.

Been there twice... first time we were disappointed with the food and prices. For myself, my friend and our 3 kids it was almost $100. Food was ok, nothing specials. second time, food was better but the portion sizes were insane. Way too much for anyone to eat in one sitting. I would have come back if the portion sizes were less, making the cost less. However, after two so-so experiences, we will go elsewhere for breakfast next time.

The first time I visited Penticton my aunt took me here and I'll never forget it. I had a breakfast dish that was 3 times the size of my stomach and it was great food and a great price. We ordered the B.C. breakfast bowl and the funky monkey pancakes. I decided to share the breakfast bowl "regular" size because me and my son weren't very hungry.I should've asked how big it was. Portion sizes are large. I guess that is why it cost $22. Both of us couldn't even eat half of it. They need to rename it the B.C.breakfast mixing bowl! Next time we will get the smaller size. The pancakes were "really good"my son says. Service was polite and friendly but on a relaxed speed. I will definitely go here again.

Good service but thats all. Cheap sausages almost tasted watered down. Pancakes flavorlous but suppose to be buttermilk with cheap corn syrup. Hashbrowns from hydrated dryed potatoe shavings also with no flavor. Coffee had burnt flavor. Eggs were well cooked. Expensive for the quality of food, I get the same meal elsewhere for 14$ but here it was 21$. 3$ for the burnt flavor coffee. I've been working various different cuisines for 22 years. Not impressed with this experience. Won't be returning and I advise if you have a taste for good food it's not the place to go. I suggest you order from a different supplier (chef).

My wife and I both ordered french toast, tea for her and herbal tea for me. Two skinny slices of bread on each plate for $8.95 each. To say the least I found this very disappointing. For that price the bread should at least have been Texas style, thick and broad enough to cover the plate. The service was good, but they were not busy on Oct 7/18 at 10:30 AM My wife noticed a sign asking customers to pay by cash if they could because credit card fees are so high. Imagine the audacity of that. Especially in light of their exorbitant prices. We will never attend this joint again. A much better place just one and 1/2 blocks down Main St on the opposite side of the road at the corner of Okanagan ave W. Better prices, larger portions, awesome food, and very clean.
