Stopped there a week ago for some garlic and vegetables and was very unhappy. I specifically asked where the corn was from - "local, picked yesyerday. " Unfortunately inedible the next day. And asked how old the garlic was (and kick myself for not trusting my instincts), "This years for sure!"....except they are already rotting, and have none of the stickiness of fresh garlic. Don't usually write reviews for fruit stands but this one upset me.

Stopped to get freak O. K. Fruit and ended up getting an ice cream cone. The selection of flavors was outstanding, the even have my all time fave, Blueberry Cheese cake!! Gelato was also great! Would definitely go again, and check out the other side next time.

Though the clerk was friendly, the food was awful. The squash soup tasted like it had a prepackaged base, ie dried onion. Just terrible. They didn’t have the roast beef sandwich, so we settled for the chicken on multi grain. Arrived on thick stale bun. Absolutely tasteless. Don’t stop here. Find anything else.

This is pleasant surprise on your way down the highway. Not only do they feature tons of fresh fruit and veg, but also a good choice of ice cream, baked goods and coffee. One way traffic around the building prevents log jams and the patio is well shaded with lots of flowers growing around it.

This was my favourite place to stop at during my trip to Summerland. Their whole menu looks so yum and if you get the chance, definitely try the brunch (which is only on Sundays - I think). I’m bummed I didn’t try the Pie Stuffed Waffles while I was at brunch but can’t wait to come back and try it! They also make really good iced coffee and bonus: if you’re looking for plant based options they offer oat milk. Their desserts / treats were also really good. The store has a wide selection of produce and goodies, so definitely stop in there and pick up some fresh peaches and Peach jam while you’re at it!

Recommended stop in between Penticton and Summerland. I had the chicken alvacado panini with a slice of strawberry rubrarb pie with a coffee. Came to $18, albeit it was a little pricey but the food was tasty. Service is friendly and quick. See attached for pictures of the food. They also have a beautiful seating area as well. Recommended!

What a wonderful stop between Penticton and Kelowna! The fruit season was just beginning so they were not the sweetest but definitely fresh. The atmosphere in the cafe was amazing. The owner herself took our order and helped out with preparing it. She found out we were on our honeymoon and took the time to ask questions and congratulate us. We are in BC for vacation from Calgary. We stopped by Granny's today when we were heading back to Penticton from the Kangaroo farm in Kelowna. We stopped at Granny's because we thought it was cute and wanted to grab some fresh fruit. We were hungry so figured we'd check out the cafe as well as the fruit market. The place is adorable, the staff are friendly and it's just a lovely little place. We ended up getting sandwiches, pasta salad, and cookies from the cafe. The food was absolutely delicious. We spent the whole meal talking about how great it was. We went into the fruit market area and got some cherries (for a great price) and a freezie for our son. We spend just under $30 total on meals, fruit, cookies and a treat for our son. Everything was wonderful and totally worth what we spent. It would have been worth more. If we weren't leaving tomorrow am, we'd go back for more. I highly recommend this place. The food, the prices, the staff and the atmosphere are wonderful.

Just had a cinnamon bun. Five stars isn't enough for it. I think it's the best cinnamon bun I've ever had !!!!! It was so fresh. And the icing was superb. We will definitely be back for more cinnamon buns and to try some stuff on the menu.

Why didn't I know about this place before. It's 5 star rating is well deserved for their cafe side at least. We didn't look at the fruit stand. They had the BEST cherry pie I have ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful for out of towners, that they might as well advertise as a welcome or tourist centre.

We LOVE going there. Some times even twice a day. Mike is an amazing guy and treats his people like family. Such a great place. Everything is awesome. Can't choose wrong there. I recommend those apple fritters though.

Pizza is amazing could have been more toppings but the crust was so good! And their ice cream is delicious and super cheap. Really nice place.

Oh my gosh the pizza is GOOD!! The crust is made in house and the ice cream and waffle cone afterwards is delicious!! For breakfast, the baking is great and so is the coffee!! Love this place!!!

We bought a container of strawberries with mouldy berries covered up by nice looking ones. This trick we thought was reserved for shady operations that are having trouble getting by. Used to be a must stop for us every trip to the Okanagan.
