The posh grocery store, compared to No Frills. Frankly, I don't understand why you would shop here, instead of No Frills, especially when the latter has PC products... But it's conveniently located it you just want to pop in off the highway.

Somewhat pricy, generic and sale items are often out of stock, but generally a wide selection of regular branded groceries. Baked goods, wine, beer and cider are also sold in store many are available refrigerated.

1 star for staff, 5 stars for products. The lack of mental capacity in regards to some of the staff members, is astonishing. I've had multiple encounters with cashiers who were confused about various things related to their jobs, including double scanning an item and then proceeding to try taking original said item completely out of my groceries and not giving it back? I paid for 2, but still want the one I paid for, so just subtract the second one off my bill? Having to explain this to the cashier repeatedly was brutal lol, they were unable to comprehend.(This happened twice with 2 different cashiers) I also had an issue with a cashier thinking I wasn't waiting in the line, absurd! I had been waiting in the line, along with the rest of the customers for awhile, until 2 tills became available, one being hers. I proceeded to it, and she acted as if I appeared out of nowhere? Telling me that I need to go wait in a line? That's where I just came from! The long line in the store! While you were busy scanning people's groceries unaware of who was even in the large lineup. You should probably do your job, and mind your own business when you have no leg to stand on, as you couldn't even visually see the line. Said cashier causes customers unnecessary grief, and needs to learn better communication skills in regards to others. It's completely unacceptable for anyone to have to receive such a poor attitude from a staff member. You probably shouldn't be working in the public sector! You are also not any type of dictator and have no right to even become aggressive or hostile with no legitimate reason. You might want to seek therapy! Management needs to train the cashiers better in regards to customer interactions, as some of your staff are not representing your store very well, heads up! You also need more staff at the tills instead of wandering the floors. The large line ups are ridiculous and people standing around in close proximity to eachother for long periods of time isn't doing anybody any good during this current time. Walmart was heaven compared to here! Signed, unimpressed.

Staff are amazing but that's about it. The talent the bakery department has for decorating cakes unbelievable. This location is extremely overpriced and be careful to read the expiration otherwise you could be making another trip back!

Well organized in here with a great selection of items and friendly staff. A bit on the pricier side though. Cash register line up was a bit backed up but the cashier got through it pretty quickly.

Clean facility. Friendly staff, easy to find what your looking for, but the checkout wasn't well run. They only had 2 registers open, and probably around 20 people in line waiting. The person running the cash was also filling bags so ot was quite a long wait

Prices are high and at times the selection of fresh fruit and vegetables is extremely poor, but they do have alot of products I can't find anywhere else. Most of the staff is friendly. The dictator of the checkout line ups needs to chill out.

Good products, but on Monday morning, manager/staff not doing much to ensure shoppers follow social distancing and face mask wearing protocols. Either Rotary or other service group volunteers were constantly running back and forth, not respecting social distancing and not caring. One rule for them, one for everyone else? And they were allowing customers to return their cart to the main store site, not wiped down.

For Parry Sound, Ontario, they have a huge selection of many items not before available. I am thrilled they put the customer first. Do they have every item? No, but what they do offer is good quality and very tasty! Great deli, good seafood and produce, and a large selection of dairy products.

Guy outside collecting the carts was questioning my service dog. Guy had no sense of the laws and was trying to argue with me. Told him he had a problem, have your store manager see me and walked by him. Wasn't impressed.

this is a very good sobeys!! they have almost everything. People come up in the summer and winter going in for a big shopping haul. And buy the time you leave there is still millions of things out.!! the Grocery people there al always willing to help even if they are with another person at the time.

This location has great staff, and a good fresh selection of fresh local fish, produce, and other items. Even on the busy days the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a bit pricey, but you do get good quality.

Very pleased to be able to find nice sized, fresh oysters at this location. Parry sound does not have choices for fresh seafood. They also had flyer items in stock and available which is not always the case at other stores in town. The store is clean with pleasant employees. Worth a visit if you are visiting.

By 430pm the hot counter food section was completely empty / ransacked everything was on its last portion well before dinner time. No express lane I only bought two items was in line with people buying many many more. No no baskets only carts.

I was in express check out and it took 30 minutes with 2 people in front of me. Cashier didn't have a clue what to do. 3 tills open with very long lines. Not properly staffed for summer shoppers. Some people even left without getting their items. Manager was called to the tills 3 times and never came or responded. I will never use this store again.

Wow watch this store. Prepared food area seems really dirty and staff that prepare food, dont seem to care about what they are doing. Purchased instore salad in plastic container just inside the front door and was violently ill with ecoli symptoms. Best before dates dont look accurate. Informed management and they took no responsibility and never bothered to answer enquiry. If you coming to the cottage better shop at home, not worth risking your health with long term damage caused by someone's carelessness.

Prices are a bit hefty, but, meat and produce quality is better then most stores. Did not like how the front and back aisles were jammed up with displays. Not great for customer space. Front end seemed pretty quick.

Bought uncooked chicken wings from the meat section. Air cooled chicken wings. I did not check the packaging date, I assumed that they would sell good meat. Just opened the fridge today to prepare them for tonight and the smell was over powering. I looked at the date and they were packaged 4 days ago. Not a good selling feature for this store. Check the dates.

This is a very nice and complete market where one can now buy beer and wine. I like the fact they carry local craft beer. The prices are high though so be prepared when you get to the cashier.

For one they have raised their prices significantly. Half the essential items you can’t get. If it is a sale item, you must go immediately the first day or its gone. I can not afford a 50$ roast or 25$ chicken. Prices for the locals, unless it’s a sale are exorbitant. Do something Sobeys. I believe every one needs to have access to decent food, just not double the price.

We ordered a half vanilla and half chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing for our daughter's 15th Birthday. It was beautiful, with colour coordinated and hand-piped roses. Our guests commented on how lovely and delicious it was. We will certainly be ordering again.

Great prices! Usually you would think they have the higher prices in town, but some things are priced competitively, making it a mistake to sleep on this Sobeys. Check out that beer selection as well. ????

Found staff to be rather rude. Prices like this for a small town store are outrageous. Seem to be far higher since new management took over. Toilets in the women's washroom are constantly broken. I much prefer shopping at No Frills!! Will not be shopping in this over priced crowded and understaffed store again!!

This is a nice grocery store. It was clean except the women's bathroom was broken. They had a large selection of baked goods, treats, meat and cheese. They also had the best beer selection that I found in town. They had plenty of fresh vegetables and sweets too.

Another store that doesn't have its customers in mind. Would you believe they don't have plastic bags at the check out and want the customer to spend money on what they are calling muti use bags. These bags become dirty and filled with bacteria after a few times used.

up here for work . stopped in ti grab some things. was very surprised with the price gouging that was going on . if ur thinking about grocery shopping here, dont. go to the walmart right beside it.. much cheaper and to be honest , better stock and variety of most things. very disappointed sobys. literally walked in and left empty handed .
