If eating healthy is important to you this is the place to go if you are in the Parry Sound area. The local farm owners Katy and Cam raise their own livestock using natural methods, something that is hard to find. Clean meat that is free of GMO and antibiotics is important to me. If it is to you this is the place to buy it. I also love the quaint atmosphere and and personal customer service.

The meat products from Middle River Farm are absolutely fantastic. Once you try their ground beef you'll never want to buy from the grocery store again. The burgers we made were incredible - support your local farmers and buy local!

We have purchased meat products here for years. It is important to me that the animals are treated well and there are no steroids or GMOs used. A great way to try several products is to purchase one of the many 'boxes' that Katy prepares. There is a little bit of everything offered (pork, beef, chicken, sausage) at a reasonable price. Katy researches and tests all local products she sells as well. (Honey, maple syrup, pickles, jams etc.) Concerned with using the whole animal, Katy has also developed her own line of soap...Hogwash. Love the Lemon-Poppyseed.???? The work of local artisans is also available for sale and adds to the charming , warm atmosphere of the store. A local gem.
