Sold us crappy wood that he said was dry. When we tried to light a bonfire with the wood it would not burn at all and was bubbling moisture out of the sides.

I would definitely recommend Diver’s Nook if you’re looking to rent diving gear or looking for local dive advice. I had never dived in the area before and Tony was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer the questions when we needed clarification. The regs, BCDs, and tanks we rented were in good shape, clean, well maintained, and worked well. I’m not sure what sort of interactions would have elicited a strong response from Tony as mentioned in some of the other reviews, but if I had to guess, I would say he was either standing up for himself and his shop, or he was being pushed around by aggressive customers. Show up with a decent attitude and being willing to pay for the stuff you’re buying and I can’t imagine getting better service! I would second that the website needs a bit of updating, but I can still give him 5 stars because he answered all of my questions over the phone when I called to clarify, and his hours/service are fantastic, even on long weekends during the summer. Thanks for everything Tony, and I look forward to hopefully renting from you again next thanksgiving!

We were in to purchase a new rod. While the salesperson was in the middle of our transaction a woman came into the store with a broken buckle on her flipper. He completely abandoned us and looked after her for 10-15 minutes. If it were not for the fact that there are no other in-town options for purchasing a rod we would have walked out. Very unprofessional.

Never shop at this place ever. Went looking for minnows and was told they didnt have any. When I pointed out the roughly 3 dozen swimming in their tank, the smelly grumpy guy said "I tried catching them early but couldnt". I have no idea why anyone would shop there. Brutal.

I have given this store one star because of the firewood purchased. We bought a bag a firewood for $8.99, from this store. When we tried to make a bonfire with the wood, it would not burn and also there was liquid bubbling out of the logs.

Tony will take care of you. He takes care of my dive gear, fills my tanks, sends the out for hydro and has a lot of bait and tackle for those who dont go underwater to see the fish. Thumbs up!!

I'm a PADI instructor. Avoid this shop! I stopped in to rent a couple tanks, having never been in the shop before. I had accidentally forgotten my certification card so I asked the owner if he would mind looking me up on the Padi pro-check, to which he responded that he "has more important things to do than rent me a tank." Our interaction later came to an end after he said to his staff member " just rent him a tank. If he dies, we've never f$*&#ing heard of him." I would avoid this shop. Unprofessional and rude. I'll be travelling the extra distance toGravenhurst.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! THEY ARE HIGHWAY ROBBERS!!!!! We stopped there on our way up north to grab some bait. We bought 3 dozen minnows, two dozen worms and a minnow bucket which came to $100. The cost for those items should have been no more than $60. STAY AWAY!!!!!! BUY YOUR BAIT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
