Gone in here a few times now and each time had superior customer service and excellent food. Onsite bakery with delicious and numerous choices. Baklava is amazing, and their "buy more save more" on cakes and millefeuiles was worth the cost to the waistline. You can even sample some products to see if you'll be satisfied. This place is a gem. I recommend for hostess gifts or sweet treats for the weekend or anytime really. Will definitely be back, and always recommend when friends are in the area.

We went here looking for cupcakes. There were none in the displays, but to our surprise they have them in back. We were told they make them to order for freshness. We got two vanilla and some date and shortbreads. Sadly, the cupcakes were a little dry and generic. Worse, however, was edible oil icing.

Terrible service. They used to be good. Their customer service has become awful. They are rude and will overcharge you as much as possible. I ordered the same cake twice. First time it was $50 and second time it was $75. When asked, the lady was rude and disgusting. Won’t recommend this to anyone. Do yourself a favor try another place.

They have the best cakes in the ottawa south, which freshly baked each day. They usually carry big 1 kg cakes, however woukd have a few smaller cakes as well. They also do customized shapes and wedding cakes(towered). The bread used in cakes is really soft and the cream is the right amount of sweet (not overly sweetened). The staff is kind, generous and always greet you with a happy smile. There is also flower shop next to it to make it a bundled present for anyones. I would recommend to get a cake from here for your celebrations, will be tottally worth it.

Miriam was VERY helpful and accommodating! I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's 21st COVID birthday. With the pandemic and her being far away I wanted something special. I just had to find some photos online and send in for a quote. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but Miriam provided some thoughts and was very patient. Red velvet cupcakes with fully dipped strawberries (don't know how they covered the WHOLE strawberry)! Wish I could've had one too! Maybe the next trip to Ottawa?? Great selection of very reasonable priced pastry. It's part of a floral and bridal shop and has a small sit-down area. My wife had a fruit tart and I had a chocolate croissant, both were very tasty. The hostess made a fresh part of coffee for me. She also offered us a few bite size free date treats, also tasty. They sell individual pieces of pastry or by the kilogram/grams. Highly recommended.

I am so glad I found this pastry shop! I am vegan, and it has been difficult finding a place that makes a good vegan cake. I randomly stumbled across this place when trying to find a birthday cake, and after trying it, I could not tell it was vegan at all! The frosting is so light and fluffy, very amazing. I ordered an order cake and the decorations on the outside were nice but, the cake was ????. There was supposed to be oreo chunks inside the buttercream but sadly, there wasn't any. We payed over 100$ and I don't think it was really worth it. The cake was really dry and tasted watered down and didn't even taste like an oreo cake. I'm really disappointed.

This is a dual business: a flower shop with a French name (Beaudry) in the front, a bakery with an Italian name in the back. Both are run in Arabic by Lebanese Christians - Canada 2019! Their baklava is to die for: delicate pastry, loaded with nuts, and just enough sweetening to be rich without being cloying. The after-taste is pure nuts - just the way it should be. I wish it was closer to home - I'd be here every day!

When my mom was 5 a kid at her daycare received a cake with gold leaves on it for their birthday. She wasn’t too fond of the daycare so decided to wait until her birthday and if she didn’t get a cake with gold leaves on it, she would ask to not go back. Come her birthday, she never got a cake with gold leaves, and she told her mom she didn’t want to go back. Yesterday was her 57th birthday, (but if you ask her she’s 26.) and my boyfriend and I ordered a cake with gold leaves on it from Milos’ pastries on very short notice. They pulled it off beautifully! The cake itself was chocolate cheesecake, which she is very particular about. It was so rich and perfectly balanced (cheesecake lovers know that even at most restaurants they come frozen, and fluffed up, and it’s hard to get right even making it yourself). The gold leaves were fondant and so delicate and detailed, and the icing was light and creamy. 11/10 would recommend Milos’ pastries for custom cakes, deserts and treats. While you’re there try “knefeh” traditional Lebanese cheese desert with syrup and breading- absolutely to die for!! AND THEY HAVE VEGAN BAKLAVA !! Thank you so much making beautiful memories delicious.

We normally buy our birthday cakes at Artistic Design but we decided to give Milo's a try after seeing the reviews. I have to say we're very dissapointed. I don't know if we needed to spend $100 for a good tasting cake, but our cake tasted like it was sugar-free. The custard in the center was almost not even there and the icing tasted like whip-cream. The staff was great, no complaints there, but I'm afraid we won't be returning.

Highly recommend! I had initially opted to place this order at a bakery on Richmond and decided to switch last minute for various reasons. I am incredibly happy I decided to go with Milo’s pastry! This cake cost me 100+ dollars less than it would have at the other bakery. The other bakery wanted to put a plastic graduation hat and other things that weren’t what I *truly* wanted. I was settling for a design that I didn’t love, but was okay for 75$. I called up Milos, they answered quickly and explained how to place an order. I sent a detailed email with what I wanted. I got a quick reply with a very very reasonable quote for this exact cake that I saw online (third picture for 2018 graduation). Email exchanges were quick and easy. I had to put a deposit a few days before pickup - again very easy and quick process. This was done over the phone. The day of the scheduled pick up I simply went to the store and there was my gorgeous cake *exactly* how I asked and wanted it! And without breaking the bank In addition, the cake was absolutely delicious! I requested a chocolatey/fudgey cake with similar icing in the cake. It was moist, flavourful, and just oh so good. Chocolate is my favourite so I loved it of course. My family was initially disappointed with my choice, since they’re not chocolate lovers like me, but after trying a piece they all looooved it! I’m writing this review 6 days after picking up the cake. I still have a bit left, and it’s still very good - not dry or stale. My only complaint, which is not a big deal is how sweet the cake was. I don’t have super sweet too often, and the slices are quite big (the cake is taller than I expected - I don’t order cakes like this ever), so it felt like a lot eating a slice. But it wasn’t disgustingly sweet or inedible. Just a little sweeter than I prefer. Just bear in mind I’m not used to eating cakes like this so often, so this may be my personal preference. All in all, 10/10: service, quality of product, quickness in preparation of cake, simplicity in ordering process, high quality ingredients and presentation. Thank you so much for this amazing cake to celebrate my graduation! I will definitely order from them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone else!

I ordered this beautiful croc en bouche for Thanksgiving and served it along with traditional pumpkin pie - it was a great hit. Each ball is filled with custard cream. 28 pieces were plenty for 8 people.

This shop is insanely good. They have the best cheesecake in Ottawa. My girlfriend is the pickiest eater with sweets and she ADORED their cheesecake and everything else I purchased. 10/10000 would recommend this spot

Wonderful little pastry shop with lots of options for custom cakes and desserts. The staff is very helpful and nice. The price are also very affordable.
