Napoleon pastry looked incredible but turned out to be tasteless, greasy and inedible. Couple of bites and tossed it in the garbage. Worst ever and not cheap. I hope other items are better for others sake but won't be going back.

After a long extensive search for a bakery, I was so happy when I found Delightful Tastes in a convenient location to my wedding venue. From start to end, I consulted with friendly owner, professional who made me feel a part of his family, and most importantly, he designed, delivered, set up my beautiful wedding cake that all of our guests enjoyed!!!! I am still getting positive feedback on how the cake was so fresh and delicious, and, yes, I was/am still beaming with joy and pride from all the great comments! Ordered my daughter's 1st birthday cake with 2 dozens of cupcakes here. It was a marble cake, cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate. Everything was not just pretty but they tasted great! Cake and cupcakes were moist. Icing/frosting was not extremely sweet.

We had our wedding last month and we bought a 2 layer cake from this place. We had a chocolate cake with caramel filling and the whole outside was icing and designed like a tree stump. It looked amazing and tasted even better. It was so moist and we had left overs for days after and it stayed fresh the whole time. They delivered perfectly on time at the venue as well. Highly recommend!

I bought the Strawberry Cake that was available in shop. The look of the cake was spot, the inside of the cake tasted incredibly good, filled with a jam-like consistency. Though the icing itself just tasted like pure butter. (Edited review as I'm not the one who bought the cake and did not know that it was in fact buttercream.) Also got some of the double chocolate gluten free cookies, those tasted good, would recommend them. Overall I would return, especially for the rare gluten free options, but I would never get the strawberry cake again.

I recently needed a cake, last minute, for my sister's graduation. I discussed with Guil and put my order in for my rather large one tier cake on a Monday, confirmed and paid for that night, and picked it up on a Thursday morning. I don't know many cake artists who would have put up with me! Let's talk flavor: I live in Miami and I was not able to come in to pick flavors so I checked the website and decided to go with the Vanilla Cake and Caramel seemed to be the most popular review. I am pleased to report that it was AMAZING!! The buttercream was soooooooo smooth. It was truly delicious! Even the fondant was yummy and I NEVER eat the fondant. The design was perfect! He gave me some options and we tweaked them and he delivered!!!!! The party was a hit and so was the cake. My sister received many compliments on her Instagram about how "bomb" her cakes looked. It tasted bomb too. Guil is SO sweet and such a pleasure to work with!! I would recommend him without reservation to anyone, and I am a VERY difficult person to please when it comes to food. I only accept top notch, and he really delivered. THANK YOU

I ordered my birthday cake, cupcakes and cake pops from Delightful. Everything was made to perfection. The cake was moist and delicious (even the left over a week later!), the cupcakes were the freshest I have ever had and so decadent, same with the cake pops. Guil was a pleasure to work with and very meticulous every step of the way. I would highly recommend this establishment!

Looks like this place is permanently or temporarily closed? I showed up today during their regular posted hours and there's a big lock on the front door and a notice to the tenant in the window saying they owe around $50k..... so I guess an update is needed for the business hours?

Delightful Tastes was amazing! They were listed as one of the "preferred vendors" from my venue, but a co-worker also recommended them from her wedding. So glad we scheduled this tasting, because out of 5 cake places we tried, Delightful Tastes had the best cake. It was very moist, so you almost don't even need frosting. We went with Vanilla and Chocolate classic, and it was SO delicious. We did have a minor issue with our previous consultant leaving and not including all the design details, but I received a call back from the owner to ensure it was all resolved prior to the wedding, and he offered to provide the cake stand complimentary for the mix-up. Very pleased with the service and, of course, the cake!

Edit: appears to be permanently closed, notice on the door says the landlord has taken over. Previous review (5 star) I've had food allergies since I was a kid. It's wonderful to walk into a bakery and be 100% carefree. Options are all lovely, and some selections for sugar-free and gluten-free.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for my 2-star rating as, the person I sent to pick up a cake picked up the wrong one without me knowing and told me the establishment had made the mistake themselves. I've recently visited myself and picked up some cake pops, cookies and a cake. Everything tasted really good and the service I got was great. However, the buttercream strawberry cake could be given a little more strawberry flavor or actual strawberries, it really tasted like I was eating a stick of butter without any flavors added in, though I understand to everyone's own tastes in this matter which is why I've changed my rating.

I ordered cupcakes for my son's first birthday, and when I went to pick them up the store was closed with no explanation even though it was during operating hours. I had previously called them to confirm details of my order, left a message, and no one returned my call. I'm not sure if they've closed down or what, but it's not a very professional way to do business. I shouldn't have to work so hard and chase people down to give them my money. All's well that ends well however. I went over to The Joy of Gluten Free (located in the same plaza) and purchased some delicious cupcakes!

What a delightful place. My daughter buys cupcakes there all the time and they are to die for. Also a wonderfully decorated place.Really nice paint job. I am going back tomorrow to get more brownies. They have a "no sugar added" section that is great for Diabetics like myself.

Came for a gluten free wedding cake tasting and it was delicious. Had 9 great flavours to try and they were all wonderful. The texture and taste were great and only barely discernible from their gluten filled counterparts.

I used to highly recommend this bakery. After today's experience I will no longer do so. I ordered a graduation cake. I had a vision in mind. It was pretty clear when I went in to place the order that there would be something wrong when with my cake. The guy didn't seem to be paying attention to what I was saying and wasn't writing anything down. I have been so stressed out about this cake that I sent my husband to get it so I wouldn't lose my temper. I'm glad I did. Imynow sorry I didn't go to Walmart or Costco. It looks like such an ugly cheap home job. Even the only thing the guy wrote down "dark green" writing and detailing is wrong it's an ugly light green. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS BAKERY AGAIN.

I was directed by kids kingdom to order a cake from this place because it's a nut free bakery. I have ordered just a regular cake from their menu. I asked if they could use less sugar in their icing and I was told they cannot change their recipe. Cake was very heavy and I was wondering why up until I cut it....it had more icing inside and outside then the actual cake. Some kids tried it and didn't want to eat it. I paid almost $50 for a bucket of icing. I would never go back.

Cheesecake not as advertised. The look was not exactly as the photo depicted on their website since the picture does not indicate chocolate sprinkles but that's certainly something to look past. The part that lowers their score is the fact that the insides were not white chocolate and the crust was certainly not chocolate crumb. They know how to make a cheesecake because it was certainly nice and rich but I just think they should update to what it is in reality. I wanted something that was classy and different and this wasn't it.

Unbelievable! I knew Guil and his team were talented from seeing his cakes at other family gatherings, but they went above and beyond for my cake! I made an appointment and went to their shop with a few pictures and ideas, and what I got definitely exceeded my expectations. They made a really amazing cake that was perfect for a big birthday party and tasted delicious! Thank you! I will definitely be going back for more cakes! =)

This is by far our family's favourite local bakery and the new location is great. We appreciate that the bakery is 100% nut free - and have often requested some of their additional options (gluten free, sugar free, vegan) for family functions or when hosting guests with dietary restrictions. The owner and his staff have always been helpful and friendly and the food is very fresh and tasty! We love this place.

Placed an order for my cake on Friday for Tuesday delivery. I ask about Invoice details through email exchange over the weekend. They invoice me Monday at 3:58 pm to pay by 6:30 pm. This is during Christmas break before a lock down where a lot of employees have to work overtime to put in extra hours before vacation. They canceled my order as I was not able to pay the invoice between their less than 3 hours window to pay so I had to take my business elsewhere. Extremely unprofessional to invoice someone with a 2.5 hour deadline to pay ... I will never be coming here nor will I ever recommend to support this business in the future.

We got a cake here for my daughter's birthday party. She wanted a cake in the shape of a guinea pig and Delightful Taste knocked it out of the park! The cake was huge! It was three layers of chocolate cake and it looked like a really big guinea pig. A month later we went back to get a cake for the family party and we got a caramel chocolate cake. This was decadent! Great job, Delightful Taste!

Beautiful looking cake that tasted, well, like nothing. The best part of the red velvet cake was the white chocolate shavings. The cake had no taste and the cream cheese icing tasted like an edible oil product. Never again.

First time going to this place. I needed a cake for 25-30 people for my Dad's 90th birthday. We've done a few family functions in the past, but never have I seen my family members trying to sneak extra pieces of cake home after the party. Had to finally say "stop", so Dad could at least bring a bit home as well. Excellent texture, moist, and not too sweet. A few "best cake ever" comments. I will certainly be a repeat customer.

With a week's notice, I ordered a vegan cake and a dozen cupcakes from this nut-free bakery for my son's birthday. The food was wonderful: light, fresh, and packed with flavor. The customer service was also excellent, with the "icing on the cake" being their ability to deliver my order. I would not hesitate to order from them again and have recommended them to my friends.

Went for a cake tasting and the cake was literally dripping onto the counter and plate as Guil served it. We were not satisfied with the cake nor the buttercream frosting (tasteless). I love a moist cake, but not soggy. Normally the cake is moistened enough to be eaten 2 days later. So we brought our cake samples home and waited 2 days, the cake is still soggy and left pools of water/syrup in the container. When I mentioned how soggy the cake was to Guil said "wedding cakes are supposed to be moist". Yes, but not dripping wet. Since that first cake tasting, I have tried other bakeries and everything was wonderful and naturally moist. Hopefully their cakes are not normally dripping wet. Either way I would not recommend this place, as I find the taste of buttercream and cake not worth their cheap prices.

If you want a cake that taste good and is exactly how you order do not go here.They will just charge you money for the cake you choose and on your special occasion day you won’t get the cake you wanted and you will be stuck with a cake you didn’t want. Please just take your time and find a better place for your cake.
