I’ve been going here for the last 6 years and the quality of their pies has been good. But couple of days ago I got a pie and when I got home to eat it it was absolutely disgusting. The meat was raw and it smelt like it was left on the counter all night. My dad went to the place and kindly told the guy. Instead of admitting to his problem the guy rudely responded to my dad like a dog saying “if you don’t like the quality don’t come we don’t care” what kind of response is this. Extremely rude. This guy is an elderly person only he is rude everytime others are nice. You guys need to fix this guys attitude towards customers

Since I've moved to Toronto I still go back whenever I'm in town just to get some. The guys are always friendly and even remember me and ask how life is going since I've moved. I've been going all over the city having food from almost every middle eastern bakery and this one is hands down to best one in Ottawa. If you don't believe me feel free to try it out and challenge this. The staff there treats you like family from start to finish. The taste of everything there is amazing and always fresh.

As for what they have you can’t go wrong with anything honestly, I personally always get the meat & cheese pies. Also this place accepts all payment methods, cash, debt or visa Incase you don’t have one or the other which is nice of them to offer.

Good place for a quick hearty snack in the form of a meat or cheese pie or zataar pie. I always get the meat and cheese pie. "SPICE AND LEMON" you'll hear being screamed out as away to ask if you want to add these to your pie. They have a variety of pies, drinks and other Arabic take home food you can purchase within the store. Always go a bit earlier than you plan to because there is usually a lineup for the pies. If you're low on cash for a quick lunch I would go here.

A nice, simple middle eastern style bakery selling pita bread and fatyr (dough freshly baked in an open gas oven with halal meat, cheese, oregano and sesame, spinach, veges or combinations thereof). It is simple and delish. I regularly pick up a few for a quick family supper. It is reasonably priced with each one priced between $2 and $5. You can also call to order in advance larger orders (dozens of mini fatyr) that are definite party pleasers. They are operating for pick up through the lock down and I would definitely recomnend for a change.

Rudest staff I've ever experienced at an establishment. They won't make eye contact or acknowledge you. Whenever my wife has gone in she said they have been incredibly impolite and hit on her. Will never go back and will never send others. They need to hire some female employees, but I imagine they never will based on their backgrounds.

This is an honest opinion based on my experience. If you value any kind of basic human respect, think twice before visiting this place. Firstly, it's super dirty. Secondly, the way they treat customers is just unacceptable. The staff does not acknowledge you nor respects you. During my visit, they were not busy at all. They were having a conversation for several minutes without acknowledging me. The moment they said hi and finally asked for my order, they did not allow me to even say two words before they cut me off and went back to their conversation for another while. After standing there waiting some more, and despite the fact that I came all the way from the other end of the city to try their pies, I coudn't have made a better decision but to leave in silence, which they definetly didn't expect to happen and clearly seemed surprised. As I value basic human respect (let alone good customer service), I will not support this place nor will I recommend it to my friends and family.

I have been eating at this place for years and other meat pie places but the price beats it all and the taste is amazing compare to other meat pie places. Friendly people, great tasty food, and the cheapest in the city for sure. Highly recommended. Best spot to go eat.

Excellent middle-Eastern style 'pies', basically flatbread sandwiches with various combinations of meat, cheese or vegetable fillings. These are freshly baked in the large oven after you place your order. Prices are very reasonable, well under 5$ for most items, and good portions which you could make a meal of. Take away or eat in at one of their tables. No fuss, simple eatery, with good stuff. My recommendation if you're undecided on what to get, is the meat and cheese pie, which is ground meat, fragrantly spiced with cinnamon along with cheese, encased in flatbread and baked till the edges crisp up. Delicious!

Everything looks nice. I thought I'd like to try to order one of their pies. He told me I couldn't have one, I'd have to order two although he didn't say why. I wasn't that hungry so I left without having anything. Maybe there's a good reason why they can't sell just one, but I naturally recoil when I feel like I'm being pressured. Food looked good but customer service lacking. Reminded me of the "Soup Nazi" on Seinfeld.

'When he thinks with his pants' I eat out a lot and like to try different establishments. I was hungry and decided to make my way to Al-Noor bakery (misleading since it's an Arabic name but establishment is run by Afghanis/ Persians? ...anyways). I digress, a seemingly attractive woman comes in shortly after me, the boy taking the orders must have taken at least 3 very noticeable stares at the girl behind me ... none of my business ... except he takes her order right away ... I politely pointed out (with a smile) that I haven't ordered yet... his unapologetic response was "well she was faster" ... and asks me what I want ... After 3 seconds I had lost my appetite at the shock and rudeness of it all. I responded with "it's ok ... thank you" and before heading out told him "I didn't appreciate you telling me she was faster, I was standing in line before her..." to which he interrupted me saying "it is up to you ..." LOL I walked away and went to a real Lebanese meat pie place Some advice: A) stop eye fu£€€ing, and show some respect to your female customers B) Respect your male customers who actually spend lots of money there C) or f@&$ off and leave it to people who understand the concept of customer support

No covid protocols, and the person serving the food always has a mask down beneath their nose. Quality has really suffered in the last few months and the staff make rude comments about clients who are waiting. Used to be the best pies in town and have been 3 times over the last month and the quality is really declining. Service has gotten much worse over the past few months as well. Hope this resto can clean up its act, respect covid protocols, bring back customer service and a quality product.

Was visiting from California - this bakery was such a surprise ! Tasty dough, delicious ingredients, nice staff. Their flat bread (mo3ajanat) reminded me of Jordan. I'll plan to stop by again once I return to visit Ottawa :)
