In an effort to do more shopping at local small businesses, I started buying bread here. The bread and buns are fantastic as are the several other wonderful desserts. My kids love their donuts and cake pops. We have started buying all of our baked goods here.

Great and honest service. Breads are so soft and fresh cookies, pies and pound cakes are incredible. It's also the only place to find a really good selection of honey.

Staff here is always extremely friendly and I always eat lunch here when I'm in the area for business. Get the Empanadas/sandwiches, they are made fresh and taste great. As a side note, this is also the only place I know of that has the shortbread cookies with caramel inside, wife loves them.

I needed a birthday cake in less than 24 hrs on a Sunday ????????‍♀️and the staff at Taunton Bakery went above and beyond for me! I was absolutely shocked that they took on my order with such short notice, and completely gave me peace of mind that the cake would be ready on time for The birthday. They exceeded my expectations and really pulled through for me on such short notice ???????? Not only was the cake beautiful, but super affordable and very very delicious! I can honestly say that their service saved my party! Thanks so much guys. They even gave me extra flowers Incase I wanted more ???? unbelievable service!

Love this bakery! They have the best shortbread I have ever had from any bakery - the raspberry filled are my favorite! Also, BEST chocolate dipped biscotti. I'd give my money to Taunton Bakery way before I'd spend money at The Baker's Table. Also! Staff/Owners are so friendly, and lovely. Always love chatting to them when I go in. :)

I have tried the empanadas, and I find them very authentic, fresh and tasty; reminds me to the empanadas back home. Also the shortbread cookies with caramel filling inside ( like alfajores), so good!!; my favourite ones!! Great place

I was hoping this would be my new go-to local bakery, but I was quite disappointed. I went in on a Tuesday morning and over half of the store was empty. Completely empty shelves, no exaggeration. Some of the pastries looked like they had been sitting in the display for multiple days. I ended up trying the chocolate chip cookies and the strawberry cream cheese danish. The danish was fairly good, however it could have used a few less minutes in the oven. The icing on it made it taste like it was old. The cookies were tasteless, crumbly, and made with some sort of compound chocolate that was clearly not pure semi-sweet chocolate.

For years I have been using the Taunton Bakery to cater corporate lunches and they have never disappointed. Our staff look forward to their homemade empanadas and baked goods - the cookies are always gone in a flash! Their salads are fresh and are also especially popular. The Taunton has consistently impressed me with their service, which is why they continue to be my go-to for fresh local catering.

Was there yesterday and bought cheese bread. Had two slices for lunch and noticed that it was not that fresh. Sliced two more pieces this morning and noticed that it hold mold on it! I paid $3.99 for this bread to able to eat two slices!! Obviously the bread was days old and they were trying to sell it as fresh. Will NOT be going back to this bakery.

Amazing bread! I love how they don’t use any preservatives so it’s healthier than most. My favourites are the multi grain and raisin bread. I also love their empanadas and beef rolls. It’s a great place to go for lunch - a good selection of pastries and sandwiches. The staff are very friendly.

I arrived shortly after opening time on Mothers Day weekend and was disappointed to see that the majority of their shelves were empty and the only pastries they had were clearly not same day fresh. Super disappointing they they had nothing out at open for what I'd believe to be a super busy weekend. Pastries were ok, but I wouldn't go back.

I bought two things today at the bakery. Two croissants and a raspberry cupcake. The croissants were revolting I have no idea what they use but it was revolting. It seem coat my teeth and tongue with a revolting... Not sure really it was really bad. I wound up feeding them to the squirrels I hope it doesn't hurt them. The cupcake the frosting was pretty good to be honest but the cupcake itself was hard and it seems stale almost and if it was a raspberry cupcake there was one little dot of raspberry jam that was not very good either. It was too expensive and the food was just not good enough. Would not recommend this place stay away
