I heard mixed reviews regarding the ownership change but boy was today the determining verdict! I am a completely new customer and I had asked the young girl at the counter about the deli sandwiches because I have never ordered one. She gave 0 information on what your offer and just said "yeah, we serve deli.. what do you want?" "Well, what do you have?" "We have ham" "ok.. guess ill have that" and she turns around and starts making it without any other information. I'm sorry but I just walked out and I'll never step back into your bakery!! Anyone who asks me about your bakery ill tell them to not even waste a minute in there because clearly your staff doesn't care.

As an adult, I've continued to carry on that tradition with my own kids. I've had pizza from just about everywhere else in the surrounding area, this place is the best. Great food and baked goods. Debit went down while I was there they kept accepting customers which frustrated me because they would have their order and have no way to pay. They took down my girlfriend's credit card number on a piece of paper(after much unorganized scrambling) and continued to take everyone else's personal information on the same piece of paper allowing anyone to see her credit card number. There was no offer of any type of compensation whether it be one cookie or a crumb for the half an hour I had to wait while my hot food got cold, they said this has happened before they should have had a better system. I was in an amazing mood and did not want or let this situation frustrate me. When you have 20 good customers frustrated sometimes the best thing to do is to compensate them. Common sense in the service industry. Always great food thou

Being from Europe - I enjoyed the visit in this store so so much! Almost like short come back to my home country :) lots of choices of quality chocolate, famous European Ritter Sport, European waffles. Nice selection of small bite size desserts. Their bite size tiramisu is just delicious! Same goes for cheese cakes and custard tarts. Little disappointed in rum bombs... But! Still - lots of other good options! Haven't tried their sandwiches and lunch options, but heard they are able to fully customize your sandwich. Will be coming back here for sure!

This is such a lovely, local bakery. My family has been going here since the 90s. It's small but clean and well organized. The staff are always courteous, quick and super friendly. The food is delicious. From their baked goods, to their sandwiches and pizzas, to their deli meats and cheeses. On my wedding day, myself and my bridesmaids spent the day at my parent's house in headon forest getting ready. At lunch time, my dad slipped out and returned with fresh buns, meat and cheese from the brick oven! It was such a treat to be able to indulge in their food on such a special day for me.

Awesome, Awesome store that has very friendly staff and such a good selection of Italian/Sicilian food. The Amaretti cookies are soooo yummy and there is olive oil from Trapani, Sicily, (the best place for EVOO in the world IMHO) and the typical selection of boxed cookies you would find in Italy. I can't wait to try the deli/hot food bar. Such a nice shopping experience overall due to the extremely friendly staff.

We have been coming to this bakery for over 20 years and today I was disgusted with the lack of customer service given. I was told that Rocko is no longer the owner . Very sad as he was wonderful and good to his customers. I waited and waited for service at the deli meats with 5 people behind the counter and one other customer being helped. Then I received help and then the girl disappeared and I still had other items I would like to have gotten. When I ask now the one staff member who was left where the staff were she didn't have a clue. Then a girl came out and she was asked if she could help and she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't say anything. There was also a customer at cash with no one around to help. Very sad if this is what to expect.

I've haven't been there since the new owners took over and must say the bread isn't the same as before. They loafs aren't as substantial. It's almost like they changed the dough...and not for the better. The calabrese loaf is all air ! The white dinner / hamburger rolls are not the same. Again, they have no substance. Light and airy like commercial "no name" bread. Very disappointed and will be looking for another baker. The new owner seems nice though. But I don't think their expertise is Italian Deli / bakery. Perhaps they should change their focus to something they have experience with.

After 20 plus years of buying buns from Rocco.. unfortunately are buying has come to an end.. Ever since before Christmas 2020 until today the last day.. July 22nd we have counted 11 trips and every trip has had burnt buns no matter what they were from Hamburg to spechatelli's.. The tops are always crunchy and and pretty much Over baked.. Gave them one last shot today and attempted the rolls.. The raisin bread all the rules were black not brownish not brown but black deep black burnt no one will buy it.. It doesn't even make sense to leave them on the rack no one is going to buy black bread they have changed the recipe there is no more doughy consistency of a good soft roll they're all over baked whatever they're doing they're going to lose their business and under a year guaranteed if they don't retract back to the old recipe luckily Cobb's bakery is in town and they're fantastic it's too bad that Rocco sold out
