A must visit for good baked goods. The Chelsea loaf is my all-time favourite. They also make an awesome apple fritter. And they have gluten free bakes goods. An added bonus for sure.

This place is a must anytime I’m passing through Gravenhurst. If you’re going in the summer and/or on the weekend, make sure you get there early or you risk them selling out of their best products. Their donuts are absurdly good - you can’t go wrong with any of them though their cream filled and regular glazed donuts are among their best.

Great bakery in downtown Gravenhurst. Friendly lady working. Decent selection in the morning. A bit pricey but that's not unexpected for Muskoka. DELICIOUS and huge apple fritters. Easily accessible from town with parking out Front. Expect to spend $3 to $10 per person. Would definitely recommend.

Great little place to shop. All the baked good smelled great and it was tough to pick just a few. Originally had hoped to grab a coffee but was a bit disappointed when we saw they were using a k cup machine. Otherwise, really happy with the food we bought!

This place has good food I love the doughnuts but after two hours of driving we got here and THERE WAS NOTHING!! Only bread, it’s treat day my gosh I want doughnuts this place is addicting and so good I literally cried. They NEED to learn how to plan for more food at the beginning of each day, today is cottage Country traffic and a Sunday my goodness I felt bad giving them a 1 cause normally the are a 100. it's a good sign when the majority people walking out of here are holding more than one full bag of goodies. butter tarts are usually too decadent for me but i went for the PECAN TART when i noticed my friends order half a dozen without blinking. super oozy, the filling is like liquid cocaine but it's got rich depth of maple-y flavour that was delicious. i also followed the leader and ordered a couple of beef MEAT PIES, one of which i had warmed up to eat on the side of the road (we're classy like that). also great flavour and the crust was super flaky but not greasy, and held up against the filling superbly. deciding between the WHIPPED CREAM DONUT or the lemon curd filling, i was told the whipped cream one was a bigger seller. the size of the thing was massivo and i was happy to see a non-custard filling but alas the whipped cream was a bit too heavy and rich for my liking. i sampled the lemon curd and it was nicely tart. considering my lunch was half a meat pie and a whole donut, i was a pretty happy camper. like the calories, prices are a little steep though so perhaps it's best that it's all the way in gravenhurst.

Absolutely loved going here and definitely worth the ride up from Barrie. A hidden gem in the Muskokas.. Apple Fritters were huge and every bite was delicious. I also picked up a buttertart for lunch and it was amazing. Staff were very helpful. Can't wait to return again soon.

When we camp near Gravenhurst, we always make a point to go here a few times. Their baked goods are the best we've ever had. We drove an hour today just to go here, and we're probably going to do it again a few times. They're so good that we talk about them through the year and joke about driving across the province just for their donuts and tarts. Just wow.

There is a reason why there us always a line up here. The best chocolate cake squares are here. But the true reason to take the 1.5 hour visit are the doughnuts. Think sweet, chocolate and the thickness of a giant bagel. The dough is amazing and addictive. Day trips here from Toronto are well worth it... beautiful scenery, friendly people and a sweet prize at the end!!! Visit... buy lots...eat... you'll thank me later.

If you can get here early enough, before they sell out for the day, definitely pick up the cinnamon and sugar dusted apple fritters. They sometimes have frozen ones from a previous day as well, which are discounted and still equally as delicious. I brought home a bag of four, and also got a fresh one for every day I was in town!

From the moment I opened the door 2 years ago, I knew I was in for a treat. The eclairs, chelsea buns, donuts and all of the other treats are a must try. It's small so can get a little crazy at times. I've heard some say it's too pricey. I reply that you're paying for a quality product served up by friendly staff. Definitely a must visit while in the Gravenhurst area. Go early, they do run short on summer weekends!

Very yummy baked goods sold here! Just make sure you go early as they do sell out of their top sellers quickly. The staff are friendly, the place isn't that big but it's branding, it's design, is unique inside. They make it look more like an old school bakery and that's nice. If you don't get your first choice, there's lots of other things to choose from all of which are very tasty. You won't leave disappointed! There's street parking out front so it's easy to access this store.

This is my kind of bakery. An amazing selection of breads and sweet treats. The donuts are worth the drive from Hamilton, and honestly, these might be the best fritters I’ve had—soft on the inside, with just the right crunch on the outside, and full of apples. I prefer the glazed ones, and the kids prefer the cinnamon sugar. Efficient staff. If you are visiting Gravenhurst or even going by on your way further North, and you don’t stop here, you are REALLY missing out!

Their website says they’re open 8-5 sundays, but google says they’re closed. Clearly the owner isn’t doing that good of a job updating their own business’ website. Plus they sell out daily, why not bake more?! It a very smart business owner. Bloody expensive too. Shame on them.

'The Bakery' in Gravenhurst is Top Notch. It's been in business for decades, offering a big variety of daily fresh baked goods, and is often 'sold out' before closing. They make the best doughnuts around, (they are 'Real doughnuts' ) including the best Apple ???? fritters ever, Chelsea buns, tarts and pies, a variety of breads, buns, and awesome meat pies too. Great friendly staff, and a very convenient location with free street parking. Highly recommended, worth the stop in.

In these times of Covid I will only support restaurants that clearly are concerned about my health and well being. The bakery has curb side pickup and you can pay over the phone so very easy to transact contactless. But there are the amazing baked goods....love their butter tarts and cinnamon rolls too!!!

Ordered a bday cake for my son back in March and was very pleased with thw friendly service and the delicious cake! Called and ordered a cake for my husband's bday back in early December.. again, friendly when I called to place the order. Took my name and number, and specialized order (decoration and personalized saying) and told me it would be ready for pick up the morning of his bday. Packed up my two young children and drove from Bracebridge on a snowy day to get the cake (2 hours after they told me it would be ready).. got there and was told it wasn't ready, no writing or personalization whatsoever. The person running the counter said the owner left for the day and that she personally couldn't write on the cake but suggested I go to Independant Grocer and maybe they could help me there. Big disappointment on a special occasion. No phone call from owner to apologize or offer any kind of compensation. Wasn't impressed, loved the baking but will not be buying from them again due to their poor customer service.

Stopped by this establishment on 03 June for the first time ever. Purchased 4 pecan tarts and 2 fruit tarts plus a cream donut and a spiral cinnamon donut for a grand total of almost $19, which was pricey. I am disappointed in the quality of their products. The pecan tarts were overly sweet and runny; the cinnamon donut lacked good quality spice and was dry and the tarts were mostly dry pastry with very little fruit filling. I bake a lot and recognize good product. And, I shall definitely not be re-visiting this what I had hoped would be a gem.
