A great little bakery with Scandinavian / European foods and goods. They have a variety of different baked goods including pulla (Finnish coffee bread), but also have some crystal and products for saunas here.

I've been stopping in at Leinala's since I was too young to remember, when it was still at 4 Corners! It is always soothing to be in a laid-back Finnish atmosphere and have a lovely lunch of Karjalan piirakka with lappi cheese, coffee, rahkapiirakka...delicious! Bébé leivokset are to die for! Delightful to have a regular pit stop; take a break and stock up on some goodies, on the long trip up north and back! The Laakso family and the Finnish staff are always welcoming, friendly, helpful, and kind.

Delicious Finnish bakery - my favorites are the raspberry filled jelly pig donuts. Salted salmon is usually available in the freezer if you ask one of the employees. Usually two varieties of cheese, and delicious Finn desert bread by the loaf (some similarities to Challa, but cardamom, raisins - I like to cut a slice and put butter on it). Also various dry goods and canned/jars from Europe. Sauna accessories and Finnish culture jewelry and books also available.

Best bread you can buy in Canada. Love this place. Finnish bread, donuts, pastries, coffee, pickled herring, candies, I love it all. Can make orders to pick up as well which is handy when ya live a few hours away. Oh god the rice pies, I bloody love the rice pies.

I've been here a few times since moving to sudbury, and have always been greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The baked goods are delicious, the Pulla (Finnish coffee bread) is the best I've had anywhere, and the jelly pigs and pink cakes will satisfy your sweet tooth. Only thing I've been disappointed by was the meat pie, as I found it rather bland.

My husband stopped in on his way home to Thunder Bay to purchase bebe's. He bought 24 and they used a piece of cardboard from one of their boxes as a divider. All the bottom ones were stuck to the cardboard and completely ruined. When we told them, they completely denied it and said they have never used any cardboard and that we were lying. I took photos to show that not only did they use it, it also had their bakery sticker on the corner which was stuck to the bebe icing. I posted a review on their facebook with photos that they removed off their page. No refund was given, no appology, just an ignorant woman denying her actions which I was able to proove was lying. I posted the photos on google for people to see.

We heard so much about the Jelly Pigs and had to stop. Well worth the 35 minute wait for fresh, warm ones (knocked off a delicious apple turnover & coffee, So we didn't suffer) - Yummm!! Left with more Pigs & turnovers, along with some Pulla. Well worth a visit!
