The continued professionalism and consistency in quality always makes me come back for more. Although hard to decide, my top favourites are her Reese’s peanut butter and cream custard cakes. I got the exact cake I wanted. It was beautifully designed (it was an 80's themed party and the cake was designed to look like a mix-tape from years gone past). I also ordered 6 vanilla cup cakes (as the cake was chocolate and at least one individual was allergic to chocolate) and 6 gluten free cup cakes (for those who required that option as well). All cake and cupcakes met and exceeded expectations not just aesthetically but they were all delicious. I highly recommend this company for any special cake needs.

I just want to start off by thanking la creme cakes for doing a wonderful job on daughters cake this weekend. It brought tears to my girlfriends eyes when I surprised her with it. I sent them a picture of a flower and the end result was way above expectation. The effort that was put into creating such a breathe taking cake was flawlesso not by just look but the taste as well. Great price for the work that was done. I've already recommend this place to two of my friends getting married soon. No doubt they will have the same experience I had. I LOVE this bakery! I came across La Creme through a google search and I'm so glad I did. I needed a cake for my husband's birthday and they turned it around in just a couple of days. Their customer service was top notch and even when I called the day before with last minute changes they were very accommodating. After travelling to Vancouver and Edmonton for work and leisure in the early fall season of 2018, I was inspired to recreate a cake I had a chance to try in Edmonton for the first time. The cake I was looking for was the Princess cake - sponge cake, whipped cream, raspberries, pastry cream, marzipan, and powdered sugar - simple yet delicious. I reached out to La Creme cakes and inquired about the Princess cake we wanted to custom order, we planned to serve this cake at our surprise engagement party in April 2019. Melissa was prompt to respond to our inquiry and provided a quote for the custom cake on the first response. We appreciated the time she had taken to answer any questions we had about the order. Our first experience with La Creme cakes was positive and we would highly recommend this bakery. The cake was ready on time, the staff was friendly, and they created a very fresh and tasty cake, all of our guests enjoyed it including us. Thank you Melissa and the La Creme team!

It was my first birthday in Canada away from my family. I wanted it be nice and special like every year and after reading the reviews I went ahead with La creme cakes to place my order for a customized cake. I sent a picture and suggested some modifications in the cake basis how I wanted it to be, and also explained them about how special and imp birthdays are for me. They were quite patient to hear me out and discuss the minute details of the cake over the phone a couple of times until everything got finalised. And the end result that I received was absolutely perfect. The cake not only looked the way I wanted it to, but the taste as well was exactly the kind I like. I was Pretty Happy with the cake and everyone else too enjoyed it a lot. We basically relished that delicious cake to the core. Thank you La creme cakes.

Amazing! I found La Creme Bakery when googling gender reveal cakes. I ordered the week or 2 ahead of the party. Process was very simple. I went in, showed Melissa a picture of what I had in mind. She asked me to email the picture, I gave a 50% deposit and BAM... I picked up a perfect cake! The came was moist, delicious and the presentation was perfect! From white, black, and a tint of gold colours to mango flavour taste, the staff exceeded my expectation. Melissa was very understanding on how I wanted my 25th birthday to look classy and elegant. Hi Melissa, We just wanted to send a quick note about the cake that you made for our sister’s Baby Shower. The cake was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. From the first consultation at the shop, we were impressed with the time and individual care that was shown to our questions. You said the cake would be awesome and that’s exactly what it was! At the Shower we received numerous compliments and our guest were in awe of the detailed decorations and taste! (Seldom do you get both). The cake was a conversation starter with many of our guest describing the cake as a “work of art”. The only unfortunate part was that we had to cut the cake, but the great taste quickly made up for that. I would recommend La Crème to anyone who wants a showstopper cake for their special occasion! The cake arrived on time and in perfect condition. We did not have any problems ordering, and the outside of the cake was as per specifications. Its was beautiful. However, we had discussed with staff at La Creme as how the cake was going to be used for a gender reveal at the baby shower, and as such , we had discussed how the color (pink/blue) revealing the gender, in the top tier of the cake, had to be 1. Prominent, 2. eye catching, and 3. Occupy atleast 50% of the layers in the top tier. They agreed that those things are possible. We were very sadly disappointed that neither of those three conditions were met. We were not advised of any rule they have that says that they dont put more than a certain amount of fresh cream in the cake. The overall outward look of the cake, its presentation and taste were adequate. However, our gender reveal surprise was quite ruined as the the top tier contained a very thin layer of very light blue, in more than 80% white. The blue was BARELY visible. We had specifically requested for the inside of the cake to be layered with atleast 50% if not more blue, but there was just one sad layer of the blue. Ordering from La Creme, turned out to be disappointing as it ruined our gender reveal. Either the staff at their bakery did not understand us, when we asked for a more prominent presence of the gender reveal colour, or they were just careless and/or thoughtless to not respect our wishes. We ordered a $700 cake from here and it turned out to be quite a bummer.

Very unimpressed with the service called there because I wanted to go for a cake testing to get my wedding cake there. Called a week ahead was told there were gong to be samples for us to try. We showed up there and she only asked us what kids cake design told us it was going to be about 300$ than said what kinda cake do you want. We said we thought we were going to try samples because that’s what we were told when we called a week ahead for an appt. and she said I don’t have any samples I can make one of one kind of cake and you can take it home. We were confused and than she said well the cake is good so you can just tell me what kind of flavour you want. This is my wedding cake I would like to know the cake I’m getting tastes good and why did they tell us something and not do it. Than she said she was making samples for anoth r appt. how come we weren’t good enough to get one? They weren’t even apologetic for the inconvenience we drove an hour to get there for nothing and bad service. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. This was suppose to be a special day picking out my wedding cake and they treated me like I wasn’t important. I give them a 0/5 they don’t get a star from me but to post it you have to at least give them 1 star. That’s not right. Very rude owners I like the reply back I got saying basically that we are liars why would we go there if there was no appointment and how did thy have our number if there was no appointment. Called me because they didn’t like my review boo hooo don’t have a review board than. Don’t talk to me rudely on the phone and tell me you didn’t know we had an appointment when as soon as we walked In we said we have an appointment they said yeah I know. And I don’t care how much time there is till August I’m not going to give someone money who treats us badly. And they only called cause they didn’t. Like my review they had 3 days to apologize which is shouldof been done that day and was not. And only apologizes when they don’t li’e my review. I wasn’t kidding when I said I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy .

I ordered a wedding cake about 2 days before we needed it, really last minute! I specifically requested eggless and they were the only place able to make what I want, last minute AND eggless! Showed them the pictures, made last minute changes and they still delivered, the cake was gorgeous, exactly what I wanted and tasted amazinggg. It was heavenly, not over sweet and fresh strawberries along with vanilla buttercream. It made everyone want seconds! The other thing is that I picked up the cake and was really nervous as delivering a two tier wedding cake is no easy feat. But everyone there was so sweet and friendly and it kinda “de-stressed” me. I didn’t catch their names but there was an elderly gentleman who secured the cake with cardboard into the backseat and buckled the cake in and then he closed the car doors and gently tucked the draping of my dress into the car as it was sticking out then closed the door for me ???? it was like incredibly sweet and much appreciated! So glad I ordered from them, they have my business and my friends’ too. The customer service and everything else was amazing.

I came across your place by chance really, I also bake and decorate cakes for family and friends only, but last year I was pregnant and couldn't take the hassle to do a wedding cake for a friend and ending up trying your bakery and well like I said in the statement above it was exceptional. I recently placed an order for dairy free cupcakes, my husband has a dairy allergy and it's the first time he's had cakes on the outside since it's hard to find bakeries that do dairy free completely and they were amazing and he had no allergic reaction at all from the cupcakes! ???? Hello, ordered from here as a last resort for my boyfriends 30th birthday party cake. Entire look of the cake did not end up matching up to what i was looking for. The numbers 30 were placed standing up on the cake with two orange coloured popsicle sticks, didnt go with my black, red and white theme. Underneath the thick layers of royal icing was a very dry cookies and creme cake, not moist at all. When i first got into the bakery you can see the back room staright ahead and the door was open, there were large open plastic bottles of smirnoff ice. Not impressed. Paid 95$ for a cake none of my guests enjoyed, including the birthday boy.
