I went there this morning. The croissant that I got was good but the banana loaf bread that I got was burned. I thought it was good because there was too much hype about the bakery. Not only was the service bad but the baked goods was not as good as I expected it to be.

Definitely a hidden gem! As another reviewer said, baked in small quantities so everything is fresh. Carrot cake is the real deal - moist, flavourful and delicious cream cheese frosting with just the right tang. Palmier - If you've never tried Palmier - these are delectable. Baked to perfection and dipped in dark chocolate, they'll tickle your taste buds. Cannoli with almonds - baked to crispy perfection in small batches. You can feel the love baked into the treats here!

Wow, It really makes the drive from Niagara worth it. I bought a regular scone and a plain vanilla cannoli. Both amazing, the girl at the front desk was polite and friendly. I asked for a recommendation on something that was not too sweet and she didn't disappoint. I highly highly recommend you to try the vanilla cannoli. I will absolutely come back ????. They gave me a sample of their ham/cheese croissant, also very good.

This place is the BEST. I stumbled upon them on Facebook when Covid hit and they've been delivering to our house every other week since. Very happy with everything they've brought us. The woman that does the delivery is so quick and quiet that our dogs never even know she has dropped off. I will continue to tell everyone I know about this gem! :)

A real gem of a place. It is the product of one man's love of baking. One who does everything to perfection. The products are high end, the taste is refined and the baking is fresh. In fact they seem to only bake what they are going to sell that day at dawn, and when they run out, they are done.

If you're looking for some different flavors of breads, this is the place! Be it a roll made with Asiago cheese or Potato/Chive & Cheese... we keep going back just for the breads. They also have the best in sweet treats! The fruit danish goes so well with a cup of java first thing in the morning! Cookies galore! Can't recommend this any more highly!

We visit every other week for croissants, morning buns, cinnamon buns and walnut sour dough. Very tasty. We have tried three other well known bakeries in town. We won't go anywhere else.

The only issue I have with this place is its too far from my house. If they relocated to the falls, perhaps across the street from me I'd give it 6 stars. I've had their pizza with that fantastic dough. The baguettes both white and multigrain is rich, with that signature crunch on the outside, and soft on the inside. Don't tell my girlfriend, but I'm always getting the venetian cannoli when I go and it's gone by the time I get to the on ramp because the cream is so light yet flavourful. Sorry I didn't take pictures of the bread, but I finish it too quickly everytime.

My husband and I recently discovered Con Gusto and everything we have tried so far is delicious!!! The chocolate croissant is the best croissant I've ever had, the calabrese bread is SO good (can't wait to try other kinds of bread too), and all other desserts we've tried so far have been delicious. We make homemade pizza a lot and the dough is one of the best we've found. We'll definitely be ordering from them a lot!

I have visited this bakery with my husband for years and we have always come up with an excellent product. His favorite, Panini bun. However, today he came home very disappointed with his order, because with the bread that he used to make a wonderful sandwich, he will only be able to put a hog dog inside it. We hope that they will soon redo the style that I show in the photo on the left.

I've gotten loaves of olive bread from here many times, and they are always great. I decided to get a canoli a few days ago, and it was soggy. Would recommend the bread to anyone, but can't recommend the pastries.

Didn't like the cannoli's, they are more like donut-pastries with a doughy croissant texture and don't have any flavour other than sweet. They should be light and crispy, the pastry should have flavour and the filling made fresh with a nice texture and taste. Not old an soggy pre-filled bland jelly inside

Received a gift from my daughter and she is aware that I am unable to eat cream cheese products. Purchased some canoli, specifically asked if there was cream cheese in them. She was told no cream cheese. When I tried it, they tasted odd... so I called and inquired about any cream cheese... again told no cream cheese. I asked what was in it... was told riccotta cheese. HELLO... this is a cream cheese. Can't tell you how sick I have become from this. Staff have to be educated on the sensitivity of customers to this. BEWARE WHEN SHOPPING HERE!

Usually a great place and products are wonderful. However I called ahead and asked if they had a specific item and the lady said yes and took my name.. got there and she was on the phone and didnt even acknowledge I was there and a younger employee came from the back and said ya.. she told you we have them and we dont... and that was it.. kind of unprofessional if you ask me.

This is the kind of place you only tell your favourite people about. I'm going against my inclination here because the croissants are legitimately one of the few places in Canada (save for a few places in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver) where you'll get a true French croissant. Please, people, don't go there. As it is I now have to get there before 9am to get my favourite breads and pastries, because it has been discovered by so many of "you people". Or else it gets sold out. I need my challah on Fridays, and my walnut sourdough. And my apple danishes. And my scones. So, like I said, don't go there. Leave some for me.

Some of the staff is very short with the customers. Almost rude. They should really move on if they don't like their career. It just makes what could be a 5 star establishment, not one. The owners should observe. Just my $0.02. Other than that, great food for a reasonable price.

They make their own ricotta!!! They have both Venetian(similar to a puff pastry) and sicillian (crunchy) cannoli. The cannolis they make are not sweet and have such a depth of flavour. Very crispy and with a thin layer of chocolate on the inside. The loaves and Asiago bread too are amazing.

Can not recomend this place enough. At 38/39 weeks pregnant placed an order for eggs, flour, dough, bread and of course some treats. There was some confusion and I didn't receive my stuff at first, however they were extremely polite and quick to help and rushed my order out first thing the next day with no additional fees. Everything I've tried so far is delicious, and I will definitely be ordering again !
