This Bakery is not only in a great location, has the best croissants in town and has the nicest most welcoming staff! Love this place for a quick coffee and some sweets as well as their delicious breakfast choices! Definitely a must to visit if you are in Oakville!

Such an amazing spot! Really kind service and great quality food. Coffee was delicious and fairly priced. Personally, I am not a croissant person, but after trying their croissants I think I am an addict. This place is a small locally owned business that I genuinely feel is a hidden gem in Oakville.

Cute little place in the neighborhood. Really like their hot sandwich offerings which are delicious by the way. Also a good place for a quick breakfast. It's at the far end but well worth the walk. My recommendation would be the Grilled Chciken Veggie (delicious!).

I love this place! Best muffin of Oakville! And today I got a tomato bacon grilled cheese and it was amazing! The bread is delicious! And the coffee is great too! Also, fair price. Can't wait to go back!

Husband came this morning (Sept30 @815) to get me flat white and some pastries, he overheard the lady ask the owner how do you make a flat white.. When he got home and I took the cup it was only a quarter full with all foam and tasted like plain coffee. It was my first flat white after 9 months (after just having a baby) and the worst thing I've ever drank.. Very upsetting. 3 stars because the pastries are still good (except the danishes are like half the size as before)

Taste is amazing. Although the place was really busy didn’t take more than 10 minutes for the order to be ready. Grilled cheese was beyond amazing. Melted roast beef the picture speaks ???? Eclair and Lemon Tart are so soft and fresh. Nice patio. Definitely visiting again

Not bad! The location is a bit small but the staff are super nice. I needed to go to the bathroom so I had to go through the kitchen - a very impressive operation of croissants and pastries being baked. Thank you for a nice experience!

Your in Oakville and want to have some healthy amazing breakfast, look no further than Croissant Express Bakery on lake shore road. Lip smacking breakfast, mouthwatering croissants, mind awakening coffee; amazing staff and service. They do have patio seating, freshly cracked egg omelettes and bacon is a treat. Must try!!!

Wow. I love this place. It's been tricky to find a place that has both excellent chocolate croissants and excellent cappuccinos that are the most similar to the ones in Croatia. The chocolate in the croissants oozes and isn't a solid block (how most places have them). You can easily taste the quality in the ingredients used too. In Croatia, I love their vanilla cappuccinos (which is next to impossible to find cafes that make good ones here). This cafe made me a regular cappuccino with a shot of vanilla and it was very good. Will be coming here frequently.

Have only tried their hazelnut croissant and their pistachio croissant, which is amazing (get the pistachio)! Was going to deduct one star because both front workers didn't know some of the menu items, but they were both very nice! Have been here multiple times and enjoyed it every time, although I tend to keep getting the same thing every time.

I’ve been going here since I was 10 years old with my dad and the croissants and sandwiches are DELICIOUS!!! Sometimes there can be a long wait if you’re ordering a meal but because it’s so fresh I think it’s worth it. Only downside is over the years the service has been not great but now it’s much better.

I went to the Croissant Express (at ~ 1 pm) and was lucky enough to order and receive an almond croissant ... very tasty! So much so, that I had attempted to return, at or after noon, on THREE different occasions. Croissant Express was SOLD OUT of their name sake (croissants) on each subsequent visit! I will NOT be attempting a fourth sad experience.

I just came by this location this past weekend. What a massive disappointment, the pastries they have here are STALE. I got a tiramisu and an apple pie tart/slice and they both tasted horrible, stale, old and dry. Got a cheese croissant also, croissant was good. The cheese not so much.

B.A.E. and more! Our (Good Friday) brunch comprised of bacon, avocados, eggs (also known as BAE), croissants and coffee (american, cappuccino). This was our first (definitely not our last) visit to Croissant Express Bakery, and we loved every bit of it! Welcoming smiles from the friendly staff, delicious and food, and the best seats in the house - a table outside, in front of the shop and in the sun! We'll see you again soon! A+

Having been a customer here before, it's sad to say that this place has gone downhill and I will never be back again. Trying to enjoy a nice summer afternoon, my mother and I decided to roam downtown this past Sunday and we decided to grab one of your Croissants. We arrived at 3:40pm, and as soon as we entered the store, we were rudely told that they were closing, even though the store didn't close until 4pm. As someone who is a manager in customer service, customers can come in any time up until you close and you need to serve them regardless. I would completely understand if they were sold out of what we wanted, but that wasn't the case. We said we'd be quick and the cashier rolled her eyes at us...so rude. We ordered two basic Croissants to go and my mom simply asked for some jam on her Croissant however none was put on. A few more customers came in and left before ordering due to how rude they were also treated. Any time we'd try to talk to someone that worked at this store, all they said to us was the fact that they wouldn't talk to us because they are "closing soon", This type of customer service is EXTREMELY unacceptable and if they worked for me, I'd one hundred percent manage them out of the business for sure. It's sad but I know how expensive rent is downtown oakville and to be turning valuable customers away because you "decided to close early" isn't right. Won't be returning again and will be telling everyone I know to AVOID this place.

Best baked good selection. Best macaroons I've had outside of France...possibly even better than. Service was excellent despite how busy it was. This may very well be our new mommy daughter date spot.

I would have to agree with everyone here about the woman that works there. Extremely bitter experience. Twice I have been there thinking maybe she had a bad morning, both times I have been mistreated. I dont know her name but she is the one with golden hair and not the owner. The only good thing is the croissants are delicious, but next time I am ordering out. Very sad, she should be fired after so many reviews!

Got their turkey sandwich and egg croissant, super delicious and fresh. Would love to visit again! The only thing is that the lady first almost overcharged us for our meal but my sister brought it up to her and she had the adjust it, I think the lady that rung us up was new or not too familiar with the process. Regardless great experience.

This place you will feel that you are connected to. It is very cozy place, and the staff knows how to make you feel welcomed. Food quality is great, everything is prepared fresh, and I can tell they are using a quality of ingredients wich is reflected as a great looking and teasty menu.

Went to Croissant Express recently on a sunny winter Saturday. It was an excellent stop by the Lakeshore! Myself and my partner got the mint mocha and gingerbread latte which were delicious. We also picked up some goodies to go, which were amazing! The filled croissants were so good, really a good amount of filling in a fresh croissant. We also got a brownie which was rich in flavour. Perfect snack and drink for strolling around.

So I loved my experience there I came from work on my lunch break and I ordered roast beef melt as well as a scone not gonna lie it was expensive $17 but it was worth it as well they gave me a free chocolate croissant which I loved I highly recommend you should go to this place anytime of day great service great food keep up the great work guys.

Best Croissant ever. My favorite Pistachios and Almond. A friendly warning once you have one of those you are hooked for life, I believe pricing is fair/cheap considering expensive rent of downtown Oakville. I rather support small little town shops, rather than buying from franchises.

Wow, amazing family owned bakery. Been here for breakfast with my wife, celebrated the back to school ???? No printed menu, everything on the blackboard, going directly to the cashier and ordering. Egg Benedict was amazing, cooked properly, roast beef was good with tasty mustard sauce. Good sweets, lemon tart was sweet and sour and very fresh.

Lovely little shop. If you walk in for the first time, dont let the display case fool you. Look up at the board. I was mesmerized by it and placed an order without looking at the board. I purchased a plain croissant and a jam filled one. They fill the croissant after its baked FYI. I would recommend trying the sandwiches or breakfast sandwiches instead of a plain one. The plain croissant isn't the best croissant, but it was warm when I got my order and made the experience better.

Good quality croissants but for the price, I expected more filling. We bought chocolate, almond and pistachio croissants. Pistachio ones were the most expensive at $5.60 (?), almond ones were for under $5 and I believe chocolate ones were for just under $4 not including taxes. In my opinion, none of them had enough filling to warrant the price.

Came for breakfast with the siblings and was amazed at how this tint little place can produce such amazing croissants, brioche and sourdough! I will definitely coming back. Also, the vanilla hazelnut coffee hit the spot! Definitely one of my favourites in Oakville. I’ll also be taking a half dozen croissant for the fam.

The almond and pistachio croissant were delicious. I thought they were going to be overly sweet but they weren’t! Got them fresh in the morning, croissants were pillowy and soft, stuffed with filling. So good with a cup of coffee. Cute little shop in downtown Oakville. Friendly service.

This is a tiny bakery with delicious handmade croissants, breads and all sorts of pastries. We came twice in three days, that’s how exceptional we found the food and service. We are travelling with our yellow Labrador and both times we were able to sit outside and have our lunches brought to us, along with a bowl of water for our dog. Both times I had a croissant with egg salad and the works, my husband a freshly made club sandwich on white. No typical club but one with ham and roast beef, bacon and the works. All absolutely delicious and finished with one of their amazing chocolate croissants. Second visit our daughter had a croque monsieur on a croissant and Greek salad. So very tasty and filling. My husband had the eggs and bacon inside a croissant - no more McDonalds or Tim Horton breakfasts. The staff are lovely, efficient and very friendly. Highly, highly recommend and then go walk along the lake and gawk at the multi million dollar homes. Bon appetit!

At first walk in, its small but nice, European feel cafe. Then you order a croissant and a coffee- BAM !!! INSTANT NEW CUSTOMER FOR LIFE Go back a bunch more times- try the French toast BAM AGAIN !!! This is small wonderful gem in Oakville, nice people nice owner-people that care.

I do not understand the 5-star reviews for this place. Unless we came on a really off day, it was just not good. Disregarding the snail’s pace at which things moved (over 20min wait for two croissants and one cappuccino to go), the croissants tasted like 1-2 day olds which were doughy and chewy with a hard shell (not flaky, actually hard) and the cappuccino was basically a hot frothed milk with a barely discernible hint of coffee. Photos attached so you can judge for yourself. Unless the other reviewers have never gone to another coffee/croissant shop, or this was a really bad day, I have no idea what people are rating 5 stars. There was nothing redeemable here.
