We went to the bakery for the first time yesterday evening, and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of selection. The staff were very helpful. We tried the spinach and feta croissants, and the ham croissants both of which were delicious. We will definitely be returning.

I can't remember when I first heard of COBS, but it was long before they opened in St. Catharines. I honestly thought it sounded like an non-sustainable business. But, now they've opened here, I've been three times in about a week, and I definitely hope they're here to stay. The bread is baked same day. Anything they don't sell goes to Community Care. It's all preservative free, and it's all some of the best bread (and other baked goods) I've ever had.

I found Cobs in Lawson heights over a year ago and they are great. The Stonebridge location is not so great. I was just there and although the quality of their baked goods is still great, the service is lacking. I bought two apple danish's and was offered their apple and berry version to which I politely declined and specifically asked for the apple version. I then selected some bread and paid for my items. I am now home and have unpacked my items to find there are two apple and berry danish's in my bag. I will not use this Cobs again.

AMAZing!!! Always fresh, baked goods. So much selection. Cheese buns are so delicious, their cheese bread is really good, they have hot cross buns they have a chocolate chip version for Easter. They have many versions of scones including cinnamon, raspberry, raisin, so delicious. I can't speak enough about the quality and freshness of their products. Seriously the best bakery! Extremely friendly staff, willing to put baked goods aside even and very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. For example, their cheese buns each one has the exact amount of cheese in each one. Definitely on my route home as I crave their cheese buns regularly. (Oak Bay location)

Tasty!! Yummy!! Their cinnamon buns are better then anywhere else!! My wife loves their chocolate banana scones !! And there dinner rolls are the best around!!! The staff is also awesome!! The nice thing about visiting cobs bread is that you can smell the nice smell of fresh baked bread and the question is... isn’t that awesome smell? Their prices are also fair for fresh and daily baked items!! Some people would say they might be a little over priced, but I will say that in no way shape or form is the case with this locations!! And the other thing nice about this locations as they bake the bread within the store, you aren’t overtaken by the dust of floor as can happen in bread bakery...which is amazing as well

My favorite bakery in Saskatoon. I love their sunflower sour dough and cape seed loafs. If you like sweets,chocolate croissant and cinnamon scone are the best. The feta and spinach croissant is my favorite croissant in Cobs bread and finally the burger buns are very fresh and soft.

This is a wonderful, clean, and bright little bakery. The cinnamon buns were very tasty and sweet. We also tried the blueberry lemon scones and the raspberry white chocolate scones, which are not as sweet, but packed with flavour. The bakery is quaint but small, there are no tables to sit. Not sure if that is due to space or COVID. Perhaps they have some patio seating in the summer.

I am very disappointed, I ordered for the 1st time through skip the dishes at 8:15am and asked for 3 loafs of a twist bread, I was called by someone from the bakery and said I would not be able to have this order as they only had 1 loaf available. Are you kidding me, it is a bakery and only 8:15am?? I said to the gentleman, I can wait until there is more and have a later delivery, but nope they are not making more. What a joke! This is a bakery, you sell baked goods. The gentleman then told ME to call and cancel the order, you are the one who can not accommodate me so you call. Not impressed.

Ordered a sour dough baguette. Paid for a one, open bag when home... sour dough roll. It might only be a $2 difference but I would like what I paid for. Having 5 people behind the counter and stepping over each other is poor set up. Not to mention I got charged extra for an item a third of what I was ordering. Will not be returning on principle.

The baked goods were great which is typical of any bakery worth its salt. They have a little reward punch card system when ordering a specific number of bread loafs gets you one for free which is interesting. Overall good products, but slow service, which can be fixed overtime with more experienced staff.

I've been there so many times already in the past month! I've had both their Italian bread and their Vienna style bread. VERY delicious, chewy golden crust and soft inside. I've been working my way through their scone flavors; raspberry white chocolate, blueberry lemon, apple pie, cinnamon, chocolate...all SO good! They have a wide selection, cinnamon buns and butter tarts, focaccia to challah bread. My goal is to try everything in the bakery. Would recommend!

My first visit, I would say the service deserves 5 stats. Turns out we we're served by the owner. She is exceptionally passionate with her business and seems to genuinely want to connect with her clients. These are the types of businesses I love to support. I ordered many different items to try with my friend who is a baker from France. He was critical about certain items explaining to me that they weren't doing it properly, which resulted in improper texture for a few items in his mind... but ultimately, does it taste good? For the most part yes. With the wide array in was pleased with most items. The 4x fiber bread is delicious, soft and fluffy, and seems much more like a regular albeit super fluff white bread. They do seem to have fluffy white bread down to a t, as the pull apart cheesy bread was very squish. I enjoyed their ham and cheese croissant more so than their feta and spinach.

Friendly staff. Average pastries. If you want to be wowed I would recommend going to more specialized shop. I have always been underwhelmed by them on this front. Their bread looks amazing and I suspect this is where they shine. The cinnamon bun I had was underbaked, but that seems to be what the majority of people seem to want so I suppose they are hitting the mark on that one. Mine was far too gooey inside to be really enjoyable. A positive about this place is that on its sweet treats it does provide smaller sizes to satisfy a craving but not make you feel guilty. Not a go-to place for me but decent enough for a quick pop by when in the plaza.

I love this store. First off, the donating of unsold product to the needy is very generous (and helps their business model as a happy coincidence). Secondly, the bread is awesome. Just... top notch. What sets this store apart is the amazing customer service - I am always impressed at the staff's willingness to share their excellent product knowledge with any customer. I don't know who served me yesterday - maybe the manager? - but she sold me on trying a new type of loaf solely with her enthusiasm for it. I wasn't a huge Cobs fan before, but this store has changed my mind. Just excellence in all areas.

Discovered this place by accident when visiting and taking my student son out for breakfast. Have no decent real bakeries near where we live. I can honestly say the custard, cranberry sweet bread was probably one of the best baked goods I've eaten since moving to Canada (17 years ago). The staff were friendly, didnt feel rushed to choose (and boy there were lots to choose from) and the store was pretty busy. Prices seemed pretty reasonable. The bonus was finding out its a chain and There is one near where my husband is working at the moment and there are loads out west where my daughter is at university so i will definitely be introducing her to them. What a great find.

Let's talk about the amazing customer service I received today. I tried walking in when it was past their scheduled work hours, they kindly reopened their doors in order to service us which I thought was beautiful! very friendly and kind stuff I really enjoyed my experience at their baker today. Then you see the amazing bread selection and then you get home and try a loaf of each it's was - WOW ! The chia seed bead excelente, the challah bread increíble & the raisen ????! Highly recommended place I will be back on a weekly basis!

It may be a chain but there is a reason they keep expanding. The scones are full of fruit and flavour, make sure to buy extra. Half loaves are perfect to try a new bread. The staff are always welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. Make sure to ask for a thick cut slices on the bread, it makes toasting it that much more decadent.

Probably the best Bakery in central Alberta bar none. Obviously it’s always fresh and made daily. Super friendly staff, always willing to help you if you have any questions. Very clean store front. The cinnamon bread is probably the best I have ever had. At the end of the day if I happen to go then they always give me free cinnamon buns which normally cost ten dollars. Just overall a great experience and the best prices in town.

Why it has to be so expensive when we are talking about flour and water put together? I personally refuse to shop there but being a bread addict I’m attracted by the smell every time I have to go to the orthodontist next to it. So I buy it even if I think it’s not worth the price.Desserts and pastry are missing something as they became dry too fast. I ordered special 6” sub sandwiches once because I was convinced by one of the store workers but the subs were super small and raw, I was not happy because I had to leave for a long trip that day they were ready and those were my trip lunches...also in the Timberlands location, store associates are nice except for this lady with short black hair I think Lea is her name, she pressured me to buy every times asking me “ are you ready?”when I’m just browsing before purchasing, that is annoying.

For so many years i've been a faithful customer of this delicious Bread and always have a great customer service, but today i decided to go to this location and it was a . .. Bad experience at this place. This asian lady ask me to pay with debit card and i told her i was over my limit, then ask me to my money over a napking and stay away behind one freaking line. Awful experience. Never coming back to this location.

I haven't been in Cobb's Bakery in St Albert since b4 Christmas 2020 and the scones were excellent...large...and frosted to perfection...but when i was just in there today ... the young people running it wasn't serving me in a timely manner... the girl that was out ftont told me she'd be with me in a minute....then started making scones.... the nice gentleman that was baking had to come out front after 5 minutes had passed to serve me after i told her i had to get back to work.... so if that wasn't bad enough he put 8 tiny scones in one small box...I asked him if he had a larger box and he did not respond....but put them standing up in the box... i told him it was a gift but that didn't matter....it looked terrible to be given as a gift....also the scones are 1/2 the size they used to be and looked dried out.... i couldn't give them as a gift so when i went thru tim hortons i threw them out.... never again will i go to Cobb's Bakery in St. Albert...sad...cuz it used to be the best anywhere....

Besides that, were not exactly the richest family out there but we will ALWAYS be ready to pay the extra to get their outstanding breads. Grocery store bread doesnt even come close. If you dont believe me- go in and grab a sample. The moment it hits your tastebuds you will be in heaven! *Personal note: their baguette goes REALLY well with Subway soups- super cheap lunch and youll have extra bread to take home as well! For desserts or snack, grab any of their scones and pair it with a fresh coffee... Mmmm so good ❤

The slogan of "happiness in a bag" and the goal to make people love bread again are really true. I love this place and will go for a treat or breakfast once in awhile. They have a good variety of pastry-buns and everything is always fresh. Definitely worth a visit for anyone. Not sure about gluten-free options, but this place is a bakery so it may not the best choice for that dietary restriction.

New location in Winnipeg, as well as the only location, so far. I went for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon at about 2:30 and it was busy! Almost out the door busy and the store standing room is tiny. There were only two people serving guests at this time and they needed more. They have two cash registers, but they could have 3-4 workers collecting orders and 1-2 people taking payment, it would make the waiting time much shorter. I ended up waiting 15 minutes to place my order, which is fine, it was worth the wait. I ordered a full size whole wheat loaf of bread and some grain buns, it was all good and prices are what you would expect to pay for fresh baked breads. They have specialty breads that cost more but you can’t expect anything less. Never tried the scones or any sweet deserts as I felt they were priced high, but they looked amazing and for a treat once in a while it would probably be worth it. I will certianly be going back as I would love to get the cinnomin loaf to make french toast and try a few diffrent types of their breads. Staff were very friendly even when under such stress of long line ups. Keep smiling!

It is used to be a nice little bakery. But for the last two or three years it is completely terrible. They are using some kind of strong cleaning solution for the bakery equipment and all bread has a strange smell of iodine or chlorine. Can't eat cause of smell.

I felt the need to update my 5* review now that I've been coming here for ages. Honestly I couldn't be happier with a business than I am with Cob's. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful, and it's a pleasure to deal with them. The product is absolutely top-shelf. I've never had more delicious, fresher tasting bread. If you've been buying your bread from the grocery store, I get it, it's so easy to just pick it up there, but you owe it to yourself to hit up Cob's and just TRY the difference. It is night and day. The garlic cheddar sourdough Vienna will change your life. Now... the sweet stuff. The cinnamon buns are completely out of this world. The scones are delicious, and the croissants immaculate. You can even stop in here for an amazing take out lunch, theyu make mini-pizzas, savory croissants... SO MUCH GOOD STUFF. Skip the Tim Horton's freezer bag food, and go across the street to Cob's. Treat yourself!!!

Beware if you have a food allergy especially to peanuts and nuts. A neighbour was led to believe that their food was peanut and nut free by the staff. So my mother went and also asked and the staff said despite the allergen warnings their stuff is all peanut and nut free. This is NOT the case. Their food itself has warnings for peanuts and nuts. When I called the customer service to ask, Gavin informed me that they always advise anyone with a peanut and nut allergy to steer clear of their baking. Their staff misinform customers about a very serious issue as allergies are a life and death situation. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous.

This location is nut-free although it is not nut-free chainwide. Helpful staff and will offer to print ingredients if you have a question about an item. Some breads and treats are also dairy-free / vegan even though the name of it might suggest otherwise (eg. the raspberry custard teatime may have a list of artificial or unnatural sounding ingredients but is dairy free). The website also has ingredients list and allergen info for their products.

I dont usually complain but you need pay attention to cross contamination of flavors. I bought six beautiful scones that had a heavy olive oil garlic taste on them. I tried each one to see if any were ok but whoever handled them last must have had a strong oil on thier hands. Oregano garlic and a sugary scone was Disgusting! So much for the nice morning coffee and scone breakfast for my daughter. This is the kind of thing that will stop me from ever coming back. It was overpriced and went directly to the garbage.

One of my favorite bakeries in town with two locations in KW. Prompt and friendly service with baked goods that always appear to be fresh. My favourites are the high fiber loaf and cheese pull apart. The cheese and ham pizza buns are also great choices. I've tried a a variety of their sweet baked goods and there is something about all of them that just isn't for me, especially when compared to their breads.

A guest brought some " Scones" to my house...... First thought I had was plain scones and tea...... Boy was I wrong! These tasted like delicious pieces of moist, flavourful, crunchy, heaven shaped as a scone. They're called scones but should be called something else! We were going to visit some friends and wanted to Bring some Heaven Scones with us so I looked on their website and they have soooo much Deliciousness going on there. Needless to say my wife bought some for us to take home too. Chocolate, Raspberry, and Cinnamon were left after I crushed the Apple Pie one! These things are legit !
