Went to a friend's house for a barbecue and stopped in for some beef dogs and Greek salads. The beef dogs were delicious and so were the salads. In and out with my groceries in a jiffy. Great place to shop.

Most friendly and helpful staff of grocery stores I frequent. They will bring (not point!) you to the isle and/or item you're looking for, even when it's not their department. Seafood/meat dept. will customize, answer questions and make suggestions with a smile. Well done (well doing! ;).

This used to be "the" Sobeys to go to in Bedford, but it seems to have fallen from grace somewhat. It's a bit small and has a weird layout, but you'll still get your shopping done in a pinch. Hours are convenient as well. The problem is that it lays on the intersection of two very awful roads; Bedford Highway and Hammonds Plains road, both the bane of every Haligonians' existence. There are some good amenities and a busy bus stop in the area though

We had the best customer experience at the Sobeys today! Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and welcome from the security/ cart cleaner. We noticed how well displayed and stocked the produce and items are. The entire store showed pride of ownership. We found everything and more and the prices were good. However, our best experience was at the check out and our clerk Moustafa. He was so funny and courteous, his people skills are off the charts and we left laughing and feeling less stressed in this crazy Covid year and Christmas season.. We tried to find the manager to tell him that this team member is a real gem. He's one to be praised and promoted. People like him are so hard to find. Wishing Moustafa and the entire team at Sobeys a safe and happy holiday. To the manager Luc Legacy, well done with your amazing team. It’s my favourite sobeys but it’s not consistent with any of their prepared meals. A little pricey compare to the Larry uteck and Windsor Street. Staff are pretty awesome ( especially the meat guys). Back shift employees ( night stockers) are very helpful and friendly.

The staff at this Sobeys are attentive and polite, and I found the number of staff were ample when cashing out. Their Garden Center was lovely, colorful and welcoming, with a well knowledge male staff working there to point you wiithin their tent direction for what you specifically need.

They sell BAKED Old Dutch chips and have a good selection of hot sauces - Superstore down the street doesn’t. Roast chickens are bland here compared to Superstore. Overall it works fine as a grocery store but I often go to Superstore instead for better layout and bulk section.

This sobeys locatiin is always a good spot to stop in.They always have fresh fruit trays and sushi and other deli options.Every staaf that I encountered were very nice.The lay out is just like any other sobeys.This one has a liquor store attached which is alwayd a bonus for those that enjoy an evening beverage.The sesfood is always a little over priced and today the salmon was very evil.They also have a good assortment of Kombucha drinks which are delicious.

Some items very over priced. Was looking at some produce and found a couple of items with mould. Pointed it out to staff and they removed the 2, and only 2 oranges I pointed out. I said "There is probably more bad ones in there". Staff walked away. So did I.

I've been shopping here for years, but am beginning to get more and more of my groceries at Superstore, Walmart and Costco. I find it frustrating that Sobeys has been quietly removing favourite food brands and replacing them with their own Compliments versions. In addition, the prices on the pre-made foods like prepared wraps, yogurt containers with fruit/ganola, and especially the pre-cooked BBQ chickens, keep going up while the product is getting smaller. A few years ago those chickens were selling for $9.99, and they're now up to $12.99 and barely feed two people!

Our Compliments products have now been altered. Peanut butter is as oily as Presidents Choice. So is their puddings now. We will soon see a stamp on the peanut butter like PC has saying that it is natural for oil to separate from peanut butter. If you are older than 35 , you will know this to be bullshit. I was brought up on Swartz and Kraft and you can stand a jar upside down and never will the PB run. Sobeys, you have chased us away from your own product which was good to a leading name product. Way to go. You are right down there with Superstore now.
