This Bakery corresponds to the category of Grocery store.
The aisles are horribly organized and it was a pain to find simple things.
Quality product...for a little more..
My favorite Sobeys store in the Halifax area. Very clean and well organized.
Great grocery store if you are visiting the area. Able to pick up snacks easily for local tournaments. Very convenient.
Confusing layout on one side of the store, with sections being arbitrary and duplicates of other sections in random patterns. Friendly staff
Why are retailers required to place directional arrows in the aisles when very few people (including staff) bother to follow them!
Great customer service here.
They're expensive. But good if you want to treat yourself.
My go to place for fresh veggies and fruits. Their customer service is also good.
I like the new design of sobeys in this location. However, prices are still higher than superstore overall.
Always clean and well stocked. Can be rather pricey, but can also have some good bargains.
Good store to shop in Getting out was quick this early hour.
Tasty snacks, little expensive at times but convenient location
Clean and organized. Staff are friendly and professional. COVID protocols are in place
Sobey is great place for daily shopping. Private label Compliments is absolutely best PL comparing to all others.
New remodeled and it's open all hours. Everyone I know who drives hates the parking lot, but inside it seems pretty nice. They also are one of the few sobeys doing the fresh juice counter which is cool. Their natural food sections is a bit tiny and this layout is an adjustment from the other halifax base stores but overall it seems to work and they have decent options.
Large busy store, not great for quick stops. Was not given the option to not take a plastic bag, the cashier took the 1 item I was buying, wrapped it in the plastic bag and passed it to me. When I said I didn't need the bag I was told the couldn't be reused...
I love Sobeys, but it is so much more expensive!! Clayton Park location also has the new "smart carts" shop and pay right from the cart! Convenient.
Not open 24hs as stated
This is literally the worst laid out grocery store I've ever been to. Literally go anywhere else for a better shopping experience. - The bakery and breads are in two different places - Frozen vegetarian food (like tofurkey) are in the meat section - The cheese is in three different places - The back aisle is blocked off by displays of canned pop, specials, etc. so you can't shop without backtracking a considerable amount - the produce is terrible quality - It is impossible to get produce without making all the rest fall on the floor (and when they do, they're put right back on the shelves) Going to Bayer's Lake Superstore -which is massively out of the way, with lots of traffic- would save you time and frustration.
Clean organized friendly staff today
Very well organized store, offer great quality food product. I recommend ????
Excellent place to do groceries, quality products and good staff at the outlet.
Don't forget your bags, their paper bags stink
big, wide selection, the new design is cool but i hate how it more or less forces you through the store lol frontend staff always seem busy or floor staff non existant, but usual sobeys and overpriced for most stock, definitely has the one stop shop feel though mixed with corner store pricing
A very exquisite selection of items and foods will come again 9/10. Avoid the sushi.
Love the various selection of organic products :)
A high end supermarket with a very professional staff
Very nice store with lots of options and friendly staff
Lovely organization with nice shopping
Friendly staff, clean store
Always able to anger my questions and are never late with me medications. Friendly staff and happy to help... most days.
Good but I will never get use to the lay out.
Was a great store with good service, odd layout though.
One of the few 24/7 stores left. No complaints but no praises either. Just like any other Sobeys.
I find it kind of pricey and hard to find things. But the quality is always great
This store has a different sort of layout, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad. Some things are hard to find however, I think they could do with some physical organizing.
Love this store for all its fresh produce and all the great in store specials they have!
Remodeled store is really nice. Well laid out, and lots of variety.
Good selection of ready to go food.
Always find what I'm looking for and always meeting up with family or friends I know, it's like a family gathering when I shop at sobeys ????
Had to buy some flowers for a friend who had lost a family member, went to the floral department for help picking some out. Bailee was great, super helpful in choosing what flowers and colours to choose, and arranged a few packages of flowers into a beautiful bouquet for us!
Nice store. Good sales but no inventory of those sales.
Large parking space. Conveniently situated to residential buildings other businesses.
Better meat section, IMO, than the Bayers Lake location of their main competitor, but overall still pricey. Conveniently located, clean, well-stocked but customers were NOT following Social Distancing rules yesterday (May 29/2020) when we were there - that is very frustrating to me. Also, there were no staff members around trying to enforce them either.
Recently renovated, this is one of the new flag ship stores.
Very good deli section.
Always check for dates, we got a bunch of stuff that expired on the day because we didn't look. Generally on the higher end of prices for everything. Otherwise alright place and accessible
Good shopping experience. Things are properly arranged.
Friendly customer service gal and good food. Undergoing renovations right now so it's a bit tough to maneuver around
Sobeys was really cold today.
Good grocery store. The new layout is a bit confusing but that's only because I was used to the old way. Lineups can be long.
Great store!! My favorite Sobeys in HRM!!
Terrible customer service every time I go. At this point, I try to only stop there if I'm going to West Side.
Some unfriendly staff at this location, especially the Meat Counter and front end. Enough so that I will likely not shop there again.
This new Sobeys is the worst grocery store I've ever been in, you need GPS to find anything
Nice store, very upscale appearance.
Prices are higher but it helps cover the overhead of having the service 24 hours. Walmart might be less expensive but you have to show up when they are open. Staff is helpful and kind.
It's good for shopping but lately expensive
I'm not a big fan if the layout, but it's otherwise well run.
Helen in the flowers and ballons was amazing and friendly. Very sweet lady
Really nice store now that it is a Sobeys plus. They have improved a lot of their offerings and there is a huge selection of both regular and premium products. The store is very nicely designed and is almost like shopping at Whole foods in the US. The prices are high, but they usually are at Sobey's.
With the recent renovations, not only has this Sobeys created the nicest grocery store with the best shopping experience I have ever seen, they have also significantly improved their offerings in every department.
24 hour is great for people who work crazy hours.
They just redid this place and it's really really nice they have literally everything in that store and it's so so clean and people who work there are very very friendly and always willing to help
No issues, great staff, great pricing, some sale items, great deli selection.
It's Sobeys. Not really sure what to say besides they don't carry Crunch n Munch.
Most disrespectful service and uneducated staff I've ever met. Please train your employees better so they know proper procedures. I'm absolutely disgusted with the way the management and employees were acting.
First visit since the big Reno. Looks great!
Clean supermarket with good discounts. Fresh fruit and bread! Not a superstore thought and customer service is just ok.
The new smart carts are great.
No good sales
Great location! Everything is easy to find and they provide so many locally sourced options. Love that they are 24 hours as well!
I'm impressed by the produce!
Confused by some prices on signs not matching with what's in the bin or on shelf. More like 2.5 stars.
Good store but it's a "sobeys extra" since the rennovations and the "extra" seems to me to stand for "an extra 10% in the price of everything"
Currently being renovated. Coming along nicely.
I love that it's a 24 hours store
The best Sobey's in the city. Always clean, has everything you could possibly need and then some and the friendly, professional staff go that extra mile to help you.
They like to lock their doors early
Nope just no. Expensive,Karen's,friendly staff though. Many covid exposures here too
I mean, it's Sobeys. Hate this store's layout, but it's Sobeys.
Not a bad location. Getting in and out and parking can be tricky.
Good store but not as well stocked as the Bedford one I often find. But then again it serves a larger population base.
Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection of brands. Occasionally discontinue a product without warning, which is slightly annoying. Would like to see this location stop using plastic bags.
Not the greatest produce selection.
The floors in the fresh area are dirty. Poor lighting to see freshness of products. Bag salads always rotten. Staff seem unhappy and over worked.
Great for regular shopping, or just getting something quick.
Since being renovated, it is quite nice. Setup pretty well. Has a distinct area for meats and bakery. Self checkout works well.
Clean, large selection, good produce.
Great store, don't always have my ham in the ready made though ????
Excellent staff, helpful, upscale, modern. Product availability..not always stocked.
Nice layout, if you can get used to the entrance from each section..when you first walk in you the preparation area , you get fruits and veg to the right, and cooked /prepared foods to the left, which wraps around to meet up with a melee of many foods and choices behind the kitchen, but the layout can be quite confusing until you get used to it...continuing deeper into the store you find the pharmacy and lots of other drug store items.... besides the pharmaceuticals are a pretty decent selection of organics.....the remainder of the store is the same basic layout as any other supermarket out there...prices are on par with any other place in the city.....very clean too...overall a nicely run grocery store....
Way different from most sobeys! Kinda weird looking for thing where they are most tims when you go in. But was great costumer service!
This store is not one of the bigger ones. It is overpriced and the service is only on. If you need a quick stop with some variety, then this place works. If you want to save some money or prefer shopping local or homemade, then you'll want to go somewhere else.
only got as far as the butcher. convoluted layout made it hard to find what you actually wanted. sales were improperly marked all over the place, products werent in the right spots, and staff took no responsibility for mistakes made. left empty handed out of frustration.
Sobeys in Clayton Park is a beautiful store with high end cheese selection and cold meats for your charcuterie board, hot hearty food to go, many salads keto and pizza to die for! I love shopping at this store and always treat myself from the bakery. Great professional staff!
The organic section is huge and the homeless people outside are super nice!!!
I love this Sobeys. The produce is always fresh, lots of variety, and the staff is always very nice
The fact that they are open all night is a big plus!
this location is undergoing a lot of renovations; seems like forever. I had been going here for lunches but the selection for lunches is very limited these days. Probably ditching this location until renos are completed
The store's layout is odd and the aisles are too close together. Produce is subpar. The cashiers are very nice but some face challenges so please be patient.
This is a very busy store, so you may have to park further away than you'd like during peak periods. Really good sele tion of fresh veggies, organics, bakery, etc. The butcher counter has a smaller selection than some places but what they do have is excellent. Most of the prices are better than Costco, especially sale items.
This is my favorite Sobeys store. Took some getting used to the new layout. Now I go there all the time
High prices, hard to find items because they move things around regularly but good location.
Love the new layout. Great staff.
Good selection. Friendly staff. But prices are a little on the high side.
First time visiting this location. Very clean and things are easy to find.
This extra Sobeys is large enough to spend time and buy good items
It's a supermarket. What is there to say? They make you cross the natural/organic section to get between veg/meat and other ingredients. Most distressing. But they have a free blood pressure tester next to their pharmacy so it's a mixed bag.
Always well equipped with all your needs.
There are too many steps to your self check out. If I am using it, it is because I think I can do my check out faster than a cashier can. Your survey questions need a different medium.
Found everything I needed but was also asked if I needed help. Clean store
Renovations going on so a little confusing as to where the things are. Took a long time to explain to the bakery staff as to what I wanted. They were trying to give me solutions that were not related to my need. Once they understood then it was a smooth sail from there..
By far my favorite Sobeys....beautifully laid out and the staff couldn't be more accommodating....love it.
This is a premium Sobeys that is very well designed. They offer everything you need.
Superstore has much better prices!
This sobeys has been renovated in the last couple years. It carries a lot of variety of things that other sobeys may not. The staff are not very friendly.
Always clean and efficient with good service.
Standard Sobeys, nothing out of the ordinary. Clean, good stock, efficient staff, interesting selection of specialty items, like bread varieties.
Clean and organized, friendly staff , is just perfect.
You have 5 people working deli. 3 people are standing around and talking. The other 2 are working. Your signs say you get $2 off when you buy soup and yet you don’t have soup. Any kind of complaint brings nothing. Just overall poor service
Great Location for most, friendly staff, New renovations in 2017 are a confusing layout however. Go take a look for yourself.
Interesting layout for a grocery store, kinda reminds me of a Farmboy. Great selection and friendly cashiers!
Typical sobeys wares. uninterested workers. Not a smile to be seen. Fine place to 'get in get out'.
During the first wave of covid I almost gave up shopping at this Sobeys. I still don't frequent the store much but today I went early and they seem to be taking more measures and precautions to help fight the spread of covid.
Quality products throughout the entire store (produce, fish, meat, bakery). The staff is also 5 stars. Knowledge, friendly, and always happy to help. I shop here multiple times a week, I can always find someone on the floor, and if I have a question, I get an informed answer, with a smile.
Good recent renovations refresh the decades-old landmark. Worries it would close before the reno. Weird layout as the store is seemingly set up as two separate areas: the fresh produce and meat, and the dry goods and dairy/freezer section. Can't walk around the radius of the store as with most supermarkets.
Got two frappuccinos from starbucks here they filled them both to the max with whip cream nicely done for a starbucks ????
My favourite Sobeys location in Nova Scotia. Lots of prepared food options available, and the bakery section has a much wider selection of foods. The organic section is great too. Wish they would share this store concept with other stores, especially the locations on the Peninsula.
The milk is always old there, today I bought a 2 litre and brought it home, only to see that it was already opened. Now I have to go back and I don't want a different one, I just want my money back.
Quick in and out, lots of mask wearing, and easy to social distance
Good selection, but pricy compared to other grocery stores in town. Only place around with a decent seafood section
Good location. Good product collection. Not cheap but worth for the money.
Open 24 hours. Extra friendly staff. Excellent selection of ready to eat sandwiches, roasted chicken and maple back ribs, lobster croissants and much more.
My favorite Sobeys. They always have everything I am looking for.
Pretty serene and a well organized place. If you’re West African you can get hot peppers( scotch bonnets) from here
Typical grocery store, but we enjoy coming to this one.
Little costly compared to stores like Wal-Mart
Wonderfully laid out. Always enjoy going to this location. The atmosphere is awesome and they have some great people working there. Minor setback is not always having full stock of items on shelves.
I love a Sobeys store here or in cape breton, my go to..although I note lately some prices and produce are not ripe and or fresh..I bought a papayas for 5. Or more and it never ripened, just got bad ..not orange actually white lol. But let's just say I love the aesthetics of sobeys and some of their products.
Very busy, but usually all cashiers are open. Nice renovations but slightly confusing new layout. Overall a great shopping experience.
Great place to get what you need. As usual for the last 2 decades, no one really around to help, but that's the world we live in these days.
Good Sobeys store with different layout than most but attractive!
This sobeys was better before the renovations. Now the layout is confusing, and it's hard to find items that I'm looking for. Also rude staff at the checkout.
Great selection of cheese.
Clean convenient hours but high prices and not a great meat selection.
It's a lovely store but I find the layout is confusing. However the selection and quality of their products is worth the trip.
Not to cheap not to expensive because their price is just right. Aside from that I love the staff there very helpful.
Confusing layout. Good bakery.
Newly renovated much nicer now lots of free parking. Bring your own bags or pay to use plastic supplied bags
Bad selection crazy layout will never go back
Large branch and have lots of veggi and deli options. Their middle section of supplements and candy in bulk style is really cute .
I received excellent service at Sobeys today, the lady that checked my groceries out was named Debbie and she had a sweet smile she was courteous and friendly and polite. Also she did an excellent job of packing my groceries. A real professional! Employees such as Debbie make shopping at Sobeys a pleasure.
I always enjoyed this Sobeys! The new renovation makes movement within the store somewhat more cumbersome. They are offering 'more'. ie.Specialty Areas. If new to this store the perception is going to be good!
clean and organized store, friendly staff. The store can get busy at the checkouts sometimes.
I am there 10 times a week staff is pretty friendly
As a former employee of this location This soeys has gone downhill big time. Rotten produce because nothing is properly rotated due to the manager johns complete incompetence.
I went there for the first time It's a nice store and very clean but just to expensive. Prices on food there are way to high.$$$$
This store gets a lot of traffic. They handle it perfectly though, always organized and clean.
Excellent in particular the fish monger he always knows what I want. He delivers what I'm looking for. The staff is always most helpful
Bit over priced but the quality of the veg is good.
Entire store is very disorganized. Can never find so many things and no one around to ask. The bakery and meat section is so so cold I don't even want to go there. The designers need some serious assistance on how to set up a grocery store.
Good Sobeys that has the chicken tender Tuesday deal which is a main part of my culture growing up in Atlantic Canada
1st time there totally lost in store - 1st time I ever got mixed up. Had to ask where the milk was.
It is a warm environment, the prices are way too high!
Fresh food section read nice i Hop there for quick suppers
Lovely store. Very clean and most shelves were well stocked.
Bought some hot chocolate in a can Was only over halfway full when opened
Store is clean, staff is quite friendly. Great selection
New layout if nice. Lots of exotic items.
Great, clean place that could use a few more sale items!
This a good Sobey's! Great selection of products and it has a good layout. Better than other Sobeys in the area.
Not 24h open
Selection is good but the new layout is not very intuitive. Prices are okay and the new dry aged meat is really something I can't wait to try. However the renovations took months to complete and to be honest the store feels smaller than before they did them.
Much better now that the renovations are over.
Don't use their catering service for finger foods. Deli will fill you with expired cheez and cured meat that taste like soap. Avoid at all cost.
Poor customer service generally. Too many employees are disinterested in the customers.
Very clean and very well organized. Most(not all) of the deli staff will pretend that they didn't see you and won't acknowledge you unless you say something.
Under renovations but staff is great
Clean store, helpful staff.
Was awesome experience especially with new technology carts.
I really love this store for some reason. It's got all the typical grocery items like you'd expect. We needed piping tips the other night and sobeys had them for a pretty reasonable price. They have a "health food" section that's really interesting to walk through. They also have our favourite coffee (just us brand) on sale fairly often, which is great. Overall a really good store- clean and organized, just a touch overpriced.
Did not have chicken strips, did not have non spicy taters, now makes you pay for sauce. :(
Close to home. Always clean looking and the fruit and veg. Are arranged nicely and pretty fresh
Beautiful store. My only problem is its hard to find an employee to help you find an item. How about installing a computerized station when you enter that will tell you where the item you want is located on aisle and number each 4 foot shelf unit. Example : Ice cream cones - Aisle 7 L -9 ( 9th shelf - Left side.
HOW CHEAP CAN SOBEYS GET... THEY RAISE THE PRICE OF WATER BY 25 CENTS, THIERES NO INFLATION ON WATER! FUEL STAYING AT STEADY PRICE!ANOTHER MONEY GRAB FROM CUSTOMERS!, Dan Ells
Was a lot different than I had remembered it being. Loved the huge natural section. Layout is different but seems to flow very well.
Nothing much to explain. I picked up perscriptions.
I would like to say thank you to Wanda. She made me the most beautiful spray for my father inlaws funeral. She is a amazing woman with a terrific personality. I can't express how this made our day.
The Butchers and meat shop is amazing!! They have the feel and service of a family run butcher combined with selection and quality of a Billion dollar grocer.
Very rarely crowded, very clean store and friendly staff. Conveniently located at Exit 3 of highway 103.
Sobeys is expensive, but the Sunday sensory-accessible shopping is dope
I really like the place
Usually staff are pleasnst. The guy I had today wasn't the nicest.
İ wish to buy some vitamins, and there nothing. Just gummy candis.
Great staff. Beautiful reno to the store has made it a pleasure to shop here.
Would like Sobeys to add handles to their paper bags so it is easier to carry the bags ????
Best. Sobeys. Ever. Great staff!
Good to see someone at the door keeping count but the checkout process needs to be better. Its basically a free-for-all and people need direction.
Not too much I can say here. Variety isn't that great, prices a bit higher than most. The store is clean and I'm sure it has what some people are looking for, but there isn't enough selection for me. I can definitely say that I was not impressed with their decision to eliminate the majority of their pet supply products. If you purchase Iams or Arm & Hammer litter, you'll need to go somewhere else now.
Very organized and clean. They are doing a great job through this virus.
I love snooping around in the cheese Dept there and the staff really know their stuff- with their good advice , I try a new one nearly every week, and I haven't been disappointed yet.
Nice location, there is a reason why the call it "Sobeys Extra". It is too expensive!
Great selection. Well organized and newly renovated. Great specials.
Always clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices.
Great Store to shop in. Very well run. Great prices and deals. Best place in town for produce and meat items. I love doing my groceries from this store.
For grocery shopping between Joe Howe and Bayers Lake, this really is the nicest store. It's been recently renovated, and has a good variety. However, Sobeys is typically a bit more expensive than its competitors. The price is worth it for the meat, but it's up to you for everything else.
They usually have fresh produce
Helpful staff . Plenty of fresh local produce.Resonably priced.
Great variety, Excellent health food centre
Nice store and staff but seeing a pattern in Sobeys stores unlike Superstore and Walmart's. Head office obvious is more concerned about getting people in to shop as they are powerless to ensure patrons that refuse to wear masks put and keep them on. Sobeys in Windsor St, Spryfield and Digby all have the same problem. So if you don't want to wear masks as mandated by the province in Sobeys I guess you don't have to with no consequences......
I find the layout of this store very confusing. I rarely shop here because of it.
Good store but you will need help in the frozen food and dairy aisles, as well as top shelves if you are on a mobility scooter or wheelchair - or short!
Good place good staff easy to find stuff
A Canadian chain of supermarkets. Expensive compared to stores like Walmart.
Extremely long wait at check out Saturday at 5:40 only 3 check outs open.seems like they are trying to make you use self check out .
Pretty good. I find sobeys expensive but they're well laid out with good staff. Produce is always in good shape.
My favourite grocery store! Sobeys' weekly specials are the best. However, I am not happy that some if my favourite items have been delisted...especially the non-dairy Ben and Jerry's ice cream. The staff is the best...always helpful and kind.
I think their regular prices are high. Go for specials when they are reasonable.
My cashier was quick and helpful. But the store layout is confusing and especially difficult to get around with covid one-way aisle restrictions.
There is NO customer service.I told the manager about taking a bar b que chicken that was raw inside on a trip with my friends to Clark's Harbour and I was responsible for 1 meal and that was a shambles.I am so disappointed in their response.asked if I had a receipt??Why would U keep a receipt,I never had a problem before..I will let others know your lack of service.Sobeys Lacewood drive will not get any more business from me.Linda Lockwood
Fresh ns strawberries @ 4.99
Great produce and bakery sections! Always well stocked and organized!
Good stuff. But way over priced it's unreal.
Recent renovations excluded trash receptacles in the parking lot outside their store. In fact, garbage receptacles are only placed at the exit of the store. People should just throw their garbage on their floor and on the parking lot ground since that's what they're encouraging.
Bit pricey compare to walmart but very convenient because their payment types include apple pay.
It's a nice store. Good choices in the Organics section which I use. Yes, prices are up but they are up everywhere! Easy store to navigate and they have a good variety of products and they usually have what I need in stock.
I find it clean But thier pricing is higher then most stores
I was shopping at night at the Sobeys on lacewood dr in Halifax and my friend who was mentally disabled and a person of colour, was in a cart as a means of convenience (it would've made shopping harder if we didn't. and he was a not a heavy person in general.) as we were getting food an employee rudely demanded (not ask) that he gets out and I quote " its for little babies you're going to break it so get out, whatever.....go back to where you live" I found it very rude and I didn't want to cause a scene so I told him to get out and the poor soul got out and was upset and the lady was making a scene and so he walked away and then she rudely told me to put the cart back as if I didn't need it even though I was obviously shopping. I found it so rude, she didn't know what was going on or why he was in it and it really upset me and she made unnecessary comments about him and I didn't know what to do it was suck a shock for to know that a company/store would let an employee talk to a customer the way that lady did. I will never be going back there it was the worse experience in my life.
Another good location to shop
Lots of parking Store design is mixed up not happy with the New design aisles dont meet lots of deadends. Lots of self checkouts
All cakes they have in bakery are unhealthy. There is an aging population in this province. Can you not adapt to the demographic change? Also, your worker at the bakery seemed more interested in selling than meeting my need. I would like to ask her if she would like her older parents eat sugary, chocolaty, and creamy cake she wanted me to buy and get over with?
Great store with a great selection! Very friendly and nice staff.
Conveniently located with ample parking space . Great variety of stuff
This store isn't laid out the best.
Great selection of organic and gluten free. Lots of space in store aisles. Good layout.
My favorite place to get groceries and fresh meats.
Fresh food wide variety of foods. Obvious sale prices easy to read
Good service. Prices?? on alot of items
Everything seems brand new, looked very good. Typical shoppers seemed to be 50+
I hate the layout of the new store. Now shop elsewhere.
This was the most amazing sobeys I've ever been too, when they say extra they really mean it.
So glad they carry the Coast paper here and lots of selection for dietary restrictions. Very impressed with the overall service, although some of the checkout staff aren't great at bagging groceries properly. I used to go to Superstore and will for non-dairy cheese, but overall this store is much cleaner, less chaotic and friendlier.
Have been shopping here for six years, the staff are usually nice and diverse! But the renovation was long, probably expensive and after a year and some it just hasn't settled in, they need the store back the way it was, honestly
Awesome place to shop love the fresh cooked food huge selection of everything the place smells wonderful as soon as you walk in
The 'Extra' is interesting. Many more products to choose from. Great selection with all the things a regular Sobeys would have.
Nice large store they had some cheese I like and I got some sausages on sale
This is my favorite grocery site. Usually has everything I'm going in for and occasional nice surprises.
Had to double back once cause I forgot something in the bakery, my own fault, but the arrows made it so confusing - there are some places where there's multiple aisles all going the same direction clustered together, and some where the direction changes half way (in produce).
Most items are expensive, Giger Tiger is much better price wise.
Love all products they carry
Not impressed shelves were not stocked and staff not very helpful.
Not packed. Cart's still being sanitized. Helpful staff. Well stocked items.
I hate this new Sobey's, Now im not gonna Outright say that "this place is a scientifically designed consumer trap" but it is every thing has been mixed up on the shelves forcing you to go down every isle it is very easy to get lost, They have also pulled the dirty trick of hiding the brand name bread at the other end of the store from the bakery making you think that you have to buy the ridiculously over priced store made brand instead boo
Love the new store
We had terrible shopping experience here today. Bad customer service and rude staff. A manager named Ed was really rude to us and refused to solve our problem. He even told us to go away and not to waste his time. It is not a nice way to treat a customer like this. Good luck when you shop here.
This is a Sobeys Extra store and is loaded with a wide variety of quality products. The store is clean, well organized and bright. Staff here are very helpful and will stop what they are doing to give you full attention to answer your questions. A great store chain with quality products.
Best Sobeys layout ever! Better than the new Superstore..
One of the better grocery stores in HRM. Always immaculately clean. Top level Sobeys store
