We had never had a Flakie. Puff pastry with Strawberries and whipped cream. OMG!!! The coffee is great too. Lovely spot to stop.

Beth Thouin

The most delicious home cooked brunch we've had in Nova Scotia. Pick up some rolls and homemade jam while here too!

If there were more places like this, the world would be a better place (at least for our stomachs). All day breakfast and brunch is always a score, and it's even better when the food is amazing. The chicken and waffles were great. The meat was crispy, juicy and seasoned and it seemed to be drizzled with spicy mayo. The egg on top of it was so perfectly done sunny side up that I didn't want to break the yolk. The Eggs Benedict didn't fall short either. The hollandaise sauce tasted the way hollandaise is supposed to, and the home fries were beautifully crispy. Both these dishes get a 5/5. The server also had an amazing sense of humor. I'd say this place is definitely a MUST.

Quickly served, we had 2 piece fish and chips. Crunchy, small pieces, just ok, ???? were standard. Meal served with tartar sauce and coleslaw.

Cozy lovely little breakfast place in Port Hood area with extremely warm and welcoming hosts. Hearty breakfasts just the way you like it. The skurlies are must-try. Everything here is home-made.

Joel Lutman

No vegan options. Only vegetarian option was a single egg mayo sandwich. Very bland filling (just egg and mayonnaise - no seasoning) and dry bread. Friendly service but quality and selection needs work.

Joanne Reynolds

Very disappointing. A large fries is more like a small. And the price was $6.50. Terrible

Gladys Gutu

Fresh baked bread mhhhh.... like my mother used to make it. Very clean restaurant and the husband and wife owners are very friendly.

John Doe

Homemade food with fresh baked bread. The seafood chowder is great and the staff very friendly. They need to update the online page menu prices.
