I love the bread and patisseries from Marie and Guy's! Anytime my partner or I need bread we pick it up from here and always get a little treat to go with. Got this bun ring for the first time today, and not only does it look delicious, it want fabulously with the chowder for supper

I don't live in Kingston, but whenever we drive by, we stop here and hope it's open. It's hidden in the back of a parking lot, like a local secret. It's not fancy. It may even be what used to be a garage. However, it is charming. You walk in. There is a baker. Everything is on display. There is nothing hidden. No back room. You can see the Baker, his ingredients, the oven, the racks. What he has baked is what is offered. The artist and his craft in full display. That is the beauty of it. What you can buy, I assume, is determined by what ingredients are available and what the Baker is inspired to create. Everything, I have ever bought was perfection. Last time, I bought a peach tart, it was glorious. Today no peach tart, a lemon tart. It was also delightful. For a moment the citrus made me forget the cold outside. Always present is some sort of crusty French bread. My son is partial to the rolls formed in the shape of a crown. With 5 of us in my family, it rarely survives the drive home. Everyone takes atleast one roll off the crown. My daughters' favorites? The buttery, flakey Chocolate croissants. Bring cash, that's all he takes. It will be worth every penny!

Moe Marzouk

Love it. I usually take pictures , but they were so good at them before I even think about it. Will be back soon for more! And I’ll try to remember the pictures ????

Wow! This place is amazing. The pastries are just perfect. The bread look wonderful too and hadn't tried them yet so just picked up a loaf this morning. You can tell it's going to be great by the feel and smell. Just wish they were closer to me as they are over an hour away...but so worth the drive.

The bread here is amazing. We have tried a number of different ones and have never been disappointed. The pastries and tarts are delicious. This Christmas we ordered a Yule log and it was far and away the best we have had. Go early as this place is very popular.

Buck Munroe

Great place and Great food.

Ammon Comin

My favorite stop in Kingston!! Their service is always with a smile, not too mention the great selection of high quality pastries! I've had a taste of most of it and it is all top tier! My favorite has to be the classic almond croissant although some of the chocolate cake is a close second!

David Carlson

If I could go above a rating of 5, I would. I had an apple cranberry tart that was incredible! They filled a puff pastry shell with a cranberry compote and laid thin sliced apple on top of the compote. They covered it with what tasted like a butter sugar glaze. It truly was incredible and worth the drive to Kingston. They also had a good selection of tarts, deserts and breads.

We are so fortunate to have an authentic French bakery in our midst. Always fresh and so good for you. Artisian quality breads ..."no milk, no oil, no eggs, no sugar...that's cake!" says Marie. You haven't eaten real bread until you've eaten bread from Marie et Guy's.
