Just had an excellent experience at Kent. We were looking for paint for a home project BV and debating on colours when Christopher cane by and asked about white to make it a contract element in the room. Brilliant! He then helped us by recommending a type of paint while explaining why and showing us the brushes and rollers to use, all while explaining the best way to paint the furniture piece. He was amazing!!

Very disappointed with kent, their commissioner at the door did let me in to help my mother that is a senior and we had to leave. Very low class place. Do your self a favor and go to home depo they dont have that non sense there and they dont over charge their customers on everything. Look for your self. Will NEVER be returning after this experience. We had hoped to purchase over 1500.00 worth of building supplies no biggie, home depo was glad to let us in to sell us everything we were looking for :)

It is close to my house and my husband and I are about to do a whole bunch of home repairs. We bought a faucet, a pricy one and brought it home. It was well used, super dirty and also broken. We brought it back and the lady working in plumbing was so, so rude. She basically accused us of lying, even though I had the receipt from the day before and she had helped us the DAY BEFORE. I will 100% not be going back. I have never been treated so rudely.

It's a good store to shop they seem to have most of what you are looking for. From tools to lights seasonal stuff for all seasons lumber paint plumbing supplies basically everything you need to build a new house or cottage or a shed .there are to many things for me to name.

Save your tine and go to the Dartmouth crossing locations. Last 2 times I went the stock was poor and both times the staff told me I should just have gone to the other location. Stock showing in system is always completely wrong saying they have items when they actually dont.

In fact, a direct competitor who shall remain unnamed has surly and unhelpful staff for the most part. Kent seems to retain the same staff year after year and they are very kind people.

I love this Kent store way more than most.... it's a smallish store where you can always find exactly what you're looking for without having to go to the giant Kent in Dartmouth crossing. It's a relaxing atmosphere where you can go in and always find a happy person who knows what they're talking about and who's willing to help! Plus they have killer sales on random stuff!!! Look for they're clearance section!!

Terrible customer service. Looks like nobody wants to work here. Just went to pick up soil and nobody there to help. When I asked, they say just go and pick. I had few questions, they said sorry we don't have anyone. Felt like treated differently and discriminated. I would never visit this store again.

Very disappointed in the in store pick up system. I made an order for some bags of sand for pick up, thinking it would be quicker that way. I then went to the location to pick up my order and found out my order hadn't been processed and I couldn't pick it up apparently, even though it was there and in Stock. I was told I could cancel my order and the money would be put back on my card and then I could re-purchase what I wanted at the store. I called the number on the e-mail and it said the office was closed. So now I can either purchase what I wanted twice or go without...long story short, if you are trying save time/hassle by ordering online, don't bother. Just wasted my day.

What is this world coming too! Went to this major building supplier today, Needed lumber to make a ramp for my shed, Needed some 1x6x8 threaded lumber, All they had was 16 Footers, So i needed two boards cut in half so it would fit in my SUV, Got to the front with 3 employee standing there with there hands in there pockets, i ask to have these cut, Was told that there saw was down and could not cut it, I them ask them if they could cut it with a hand saw and was told that they could not, I then ask if i could cut it and was told that they did have a handsaw and i was not allowed to use it, So i had to leave approximately $200.00 of building Supplies there and go somewhere ells because they could not cut a piece of 1x6 board.

I bought a king Canada 20 Ton log splitter, and found out that it didn’t come With either engine oil or hydraulic oil, so I was quite disgruntled at the situation, considering this equipment is not cheap. So I had words with Aaron the store manager, about this problem and assured him that I wasn’t Frustrated with him or the store, my frustration was with the manufacturer. Anyway Aaron stepped up and made an adjustment to make it right for me Which was greatly appreciated. I seriously hope in the future, manufacturers state clearly what’s included and what’s not included when you make a purchase, so to avoid these situations. Anyway Aaron thanks you have great PR skills, keep it up ????
