Only problem is with not knowing what to do or where to go to get apples on the or hard. Not very many signs to help out. People could just drive away without paying as there was no one checking vehicles upon leaving. Guess you hope people are honest. Apples where quite plentiful though.

Giant ice cream cones, tasty baked good, beautiful fresh loaves of bread and local fresh farm produce all in one spot. Theres picnic tables with checker boards painted on them and little painted rocks you can use as game pieces. This little gem of a country store also makes custom ice cream cakes to order. It's situated right on the main drag in Wolfville and is tucked far enough away from the roadside so there's tons of parking. It's not wheelchair accessible pers say but there is a little ramp to get in over the door hump but you would need to open the door by hand as there is no wheelchair accessible button to open the door for you. Great little spot and for $3 fpr a large swirled cone, you can't go wrong after a hot day at the beach :)

We go apple picking here every year in the fall. The store has lost of baked goods, reasonably priced. They also sell bottles of hard apple cider which is pretty good.

I had the seafood chowder and a tuna sandwich here. Both were excellent, as was the bun I had with the chowder. About the only complaint I would have is that they didn't offer very many drink selections or a large seating area. But the food was great, the price was good and the service was very nice.

Always our go to for apple and berry picking, love the selection and it's rarely over crowded. Cute little bakery inside. Not much extra for kids other than a small playground but we go for the apple picking so that's ok.

Great customer service, decent prices. The berry patches are across the road which can be a little tricky trying to cross at times. Lost of the bushes had been picked over but we were able to fill up once we walked back from the road a little bit. The kids loved it!

Picked apples today, they gave me a 10 pound bag to pick in.... First time an apple orchid weighed my apples after picking and then charged me more!! If that is the way they do it they should tell you before you pick! I will never go there again.

I went there to pick up some cherries. Well cherries were good, but it's too pricey! I wanted to pick up raspberries too but couldn't find them. I think instructions are a bit lacking.

I love getting baked goods when I come here to pick apples. They didn't have any cinnamon rolls ready so I inquired as to when the next batch would be done. I was told 10 mins so I sat outside for a bit, then chose some decorative gourds and came back inside. Now I was told another 15 mins. I asked if I could put my name down and checked the time on my cell phone - 2:46. I went to the fish and chip truck and ordered and received my food and since it was now 3:04, went back inside and was told another 15 mins for the cinnamon buns. I expressed my frustration at which point one of the women in the kitchen yelled at me very rudely that they were busy and if I would like to come back and make my cinnamon rolls myself I was welcome to it! Elderkins does not offer refunds so I was stuck waiting for them to get around to my order but it's the last time they will ever see my money.

I was in the 12 and there was a older lady working and this isn't the first time she has waited on me ,she was not friendly and was rude to me and the lady who came in right after me . I know this is has been a bad year and a half with this covid still out there but there's people out there who have it worse than us and if you're waiting on the public you need to be nice and smile.A smile will go along way to people who are having a hard time and you never know when you're kindness will come back and thank you.

Don't go here... they charge you more to pick apples than to buy in their overpriced store. Not to mention the customer service is something to be desired. We had to wait in a 15minute line to get a bag to go and pick apples... they need a seminar on how to run a business. I will be taking my business elsewhere next year.

They are a little bit more expensive like most farmers markets in the area but the quality is always very nice and they are actually cheaper than henegars down the road

One of the best honey crisp in NS! The staff is friendly and won't barge in your apple picking. Just grab an apple bag they offer and walk into the apple rows. BTW, their bakery offers freshly baked loaves and scones which are something I've never tasted anywhere in NS.

There weren’t any peaches left on the trees however the plums were good. Not that big and they have reduced the areas that people can access. I go every year for peaches and used to be more open space. Other than that it is good as you can drive by your car to the plum and peaches sites so you don’t have to walk a lot specially if you have young kids.

Cute market with delicious products. The cider is very nice, as are the baked goods and fruits. There were some fruits that looked to be rotting, but it seems unavoidable. I did not try the apple picking, but the families around me seemed to be having a great time!

We had a good experience. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The trees were loaded with sweet cherries. It was $5 to fill a pint container. You could keep the container for 25 cents or transfer to your own container. They were following COVID19 precautions. You registered and then they will call you back once group returned. We only waited 10 minutes.

I called them this afternoon, and the guy on the phone said they have blackberry ready for u-pick. We went there, I checked in at the desk, the guy still said their blackberry is ready for u pick. We went to the farm, found the blackberry is not even close to ripe. Kids were so disappointed. I brought the containers back to their store, told the guy, and he said he doesn't go to the farm so he doesn't know. So we just spent two hours on the road and came back with empty hands and two disappointed kids. Can you let someone actually knows what's going on on the farm to answer the phone ?

I have been very disappointed in Elderkins lately. The staff are always wonderful but the last few times I've bought baked goods from here, they haven't been very good. This is very disappointing because it has always been my go to place.

Do not ever go to dairy queen again for icecream cake... these ones here omg!! Can actually taste it all!!! They are fresh and delicious!! The staff are lovely to. Also try the freshly baked cinnamon rolls...you can tell they are not baked then packaged and frozen!! These you can taste the difference ...baked actual fresh daily. Good luck if you get some..they sell fast!! Soo good!!!

Elderkins was not a good time for me, the prices although quite expensive, weren't that bad and if it was only the prices i probably would've had a good time. But the staff was so incredibly rude.. mostly to my surprise an older white man was the worst of all. I will not be back, and will tell others of my experience in hopes that they will not go through the same as my family.

Had a lovely chat with a young man about the turkeys and cider making. Went and picked 8 small honey crisp apples, took them into the store and was told by an extremely rude older woman that I had to pay $25. for them because I hadn't put them in the proper bag. Needless to say I told her to keep them. She told me I was being rude to them because they couldn't sell them because no one would buy apples that they didn't know who had picked them and I may have "done" something to them. I guess they must have a huge security force in the orchard at night to keep unknown people from touching the apples. Guess what millions of people all over the world buy apples everyday and don't know who picked them. From some of the other reviews I read on this site this is not an unusual interaction with the staff of elderkins. Halifax was recently voted one of the friendliest in the world. I guess it's only in the city and not the country. Next time I will just tell the staff that I got the honey crisps out of the big ass bin they have out side and pay less than if I picked them myself.
