Employees are extremely Rude, the front looks like a garbage dump and worst of all going into the store you have to face a barrage of smokers sometimes the smoke even goes in through the doors into the store I wonder if those employees even wash there hands after, worst of all they hate dogs. What a great store! We were west end Halifax and drive over to check in a sale item that the Dartmouth store was out of. We were impressed with how big the store was and that it had a pharmacy in it. We were able to get the item we were looking for and wish we lived closer so we could shop here more often.

Almost each time i buy items of at least $25 ; i don't get optimum points. The staff n manager couldn't tell me why n i what i can do to redeem points. A staff member wasn't wearing mask n i asked why. She said she has medical reasons for not wearing. The management knows very well that she posses a covid-19 risk to all the customers.

Used to be my go-to grocery store but it's gone downhill. I've gone four times in the past week, and each time the egg nog was on the top shelf, with no cartons near the front of the shelf - all at the back of the shelf out of reach. Also all four times, long lineups at the cashiers because they are now only opening 2 or 3 cashiers to try to force us to use the self checkouts, I guess. Saves money for the company, I guess, but results in lost jobs and those machines don't pay income taxes which help fund government programs. Also I was told the self checkouts don't give you PC points for the reusable bags that you bring with you.

I used to go here once in a while if there was a good sale or it was just more convenient. During my last visit I had too much in my basket and dropped my eggs. Now if I drop something like berries.. I would 100% pick them up.. But I dropped eggs and was handed a roll of paper towel and a garbage bin. If you have never shopped here, there is no public washroom.. So the cashier wanted me to clean up raw eggs, with no way to wash my hands! This was even the customer service cashier. Sorry no frills, cleaning up isn't a frill.

I find my grocery bill is easily 10% less here than at Superstore, and closer to 15% less than at Sobeys. Selection is good, but not as extensive as the other grocers mentioned. The shop is always very clean, well stocked, and organized. The staff have always been wonderfully helpful.

Two big reasons to like no frills are the prices tend to be lower than Superstore and you can still collect Optimum Points. The selection may be limited on items and it may not carry all the name brands but generally you can find most items you need for day to day living.

Absolutely love this location. I always get extremely fresh produce, great cuts of meat, and getting all of the things I need for an average of $1-$3 cheaper per item. I always check the flyers before I go and I'm happy I have a no frills close to me. As grocery store prices keep going up, it's nice to have found a clean, well stocked store with more reasonable prices in general. I buy both regular and gluten free products and I've always found the options I need there. Really impressed by the variety of organic food they carry too. Unfortunately, from time to time they will run out of some products (like 24s of pop).

This is my favorite place to go grocery shopping. This place looks awesome with the new renovations most of the staff there are very friendly but most importantly you can't beat the prices. I like a store that is clean and well-organized.

I would normally recommend No Frills for its pricing of products, but I can not recommend anymore. Every time I enter the store when it opens now , there is nothing but pallets of food sitting everywhere, not shelved yet. Also, in the time of social distancing these pallets are taking up so much space in aisles, people need to squeeze by each other. I have literally gone to get my groceries and had 50% of the products wanted not shelved, and being told it will be awhile. The had just opened for business, and they can not serve anyone, deplorable!

Great deals! Surprisingly fresh and varied produce section for a discount supermarket. Unsurprisingly, this is not a full-service store. Staff will usually do their best to answer questions but they may not always have the time (or training). They're still generally polite, even when they're rushed. Collect PC points at checkout and pay with cash, debit or MasterCard. Plastic bags are 5 cents, so try to remember to bring your canvas ones along for the ride.

I love going to this store. The cashiers are down to earth (like a country store), the lineups are short, the prices are fantastic. Basics like broccoli,carrots, potatoes, onions, apples, milk, bread are always less expensive, sometimes by 30 or 40% less. The sales are great. Unlike Sobey's, who seem to have used the low Canadian dollar as an excuse to increase prices on everything dramatically (regardless of the origin of the produce), I actually think Mike, and No frills want to keep prices low. I remember prices, and I do occasionally go to Sobeys, but No frills prices are WAY lower.

My wife lobbied me to go here for a long time. I was hesitant because I enjoy the Atlantic superstore. When I got there I had an open mind and on the surface it looked good. Sub par selection of fresh fruit and vegetables but plenty of junk food. The prices were honestly no different than that of Atlantic Superstore. Regardless of this I continued to shop and bought some round eye Steaks along with some other meats. Took them home and refrigerated them as we always do (we always plan to eat them on or before the best before date). A day after I went shopping my fridge smelt DISGUSTING. I neglected to check the meat drawer because there was no way the meat had gone bad...I had obviously given No Frills too much respect. The steaks had gone bad a day before the best before date. Embarrassing. Don't waste your time going to this "grocery" store. You pay for quality and this place is far from quality. Can I give zero stars?

Just came home from Mike's No Frills in Spryfield. It was a terrible experience!!! As I came close to the produce aisle, a woman in short dark hair was un packing the vegetables. I asked where a certain item was that I wanted, a she almost yelled at me saying ' OVER THERE' Very unkind way she spoke to me. She probably wanted to say ' Over there stupid' that was the tone she used to me. ATER she watched me pick up the item, she was gocking at me till I walked away. Secondly while paying, I nicely asked the cashier if a guy could please carry my 15 pound bag of potatoes out. She replied maybe and asked a guy worker within ear distance from me. Conveinently, he disappeared right after. I have had triple by pass surgery and cannot even lift that much on my job. Mike's NO FRILLS IS JUST WHAT THE NAME SUGGESTS. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, PAY FOR YOUR BAGS, AND NO HELP FOR A 66 YEAR OLD WOMAN WITH HEART PROBLEMS. YOUR NAME SAYS IT ALL............Sobeys is walking distance and will never give a low grade store in Spryfield my business again. I'd rather pay $5 extra FOR GOOD SERVICE!!!!!!

We have relied on No Frills for many years for our grocery needs. Recently we have found a sharp decline at the Spryfield location as the the amount and type of meat and fish sold fresh. The shelves are almost always bare and lack any sort of selection. Fish is almost always frozen bag fish and rarely do we see anything more than chicken thighs. The store overall us clean and full of great products however we are having to complete two trips for our grocery needs. As a family if four who loves your store and want to spend money at your location, please work to improve your meat and fish departments.
