I began calling Dr. Drone with questions, long before I made any purchase through them. Everyone there was/is always eager to help with answering every inquiry - and if they couldn't answer immediately on the phone, they would call back with an answer almost immediately. THIS is what customer service is all about. Because they were so eager to assist, I knew that I had to buy my outfit (A DJI Mavic Pro w/ fly more package.) through them. Big box stores barely know their own names, let alone know anything about individual products that they sell. Dr. Drone has impressed me a great deal, and i'm so glad that I chose them as my Drone dealer. I'll talk to you guys soon, no doubt.

Fantastic service getting my drone repaired from Toronto. Less than 24 hours after my initial request, I had the drone shipped via Canada Post label that was sent to me for free. I had flown my drone into a tree and bent one of the rotor arms. $35 for the part and $120 for 1 hour of labour. Repair was completed and return shipping $25 flat rate. An expensive mistake for sure, but very reasonable for repairing such an impressive piece of tech.

Dr.Drone is far beyond just a normal dealer! They are extremely helpful, patient and go beyond their means to make sure you get the best service and products. When I was deciding what drone to purchase, Ali and the rest of the team was extremely patient answering all my questions and phone calls. Up to today, they still email me, asking how it’s going and if there are any concerns. In my opinion, they are the only dealer you should go to for Drone services.

UPDATE: I spoke with the store and they were very apologetic for the issue. They will have a discussion with everyone to make sure they are all on the same page for the DJI refresh procedures. All in all I still wouldn't hesitant to buy another drone or accessories from them. Initial purchase of the drone was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Unfortunately for me I ended up in a tree due to my own error. I was told when I bought the drone that they would take care of the DJI care refresh process if need be. I drove quite a ways to the store and was told that it would take way longer if the store did the process because they are playing the middle man and my drone would be put in a queue. It would be easier if I did it all since it would be shipped back to me directly. I got the impression they didn't want to do the work and help me out. Which is fine but why say you will take care of something if you don't want to do it. I contacted DJI directly and they sent me a prepaid shipping label for UPS and instructions on how to pack everything up so that was good. Only problem is I am an hour away from the newest UPS store drop off. If Dr Drone had taken care of it all I would have only had to make the one trip.The staff were super friendly though everytime I've talked to them in store and on the phone for questions. This is definitely a good thing versus buying from Amazon and the main reason I purchased from them. Support local right?

Their website is easy to understand and they have a good shipping system. I found their engineers and final report to be very helpful of a diagnosis. The only downside was that they were out of propellers as I had asked for replacements too, but no freight, found some reliable ones online. Overall amazing service! Though hope I don't need to use again. ????

When I was researching where to purchase a new DJI Phantom 4 drone, I spoke to one of the principals at Dr. Drone who convinced me to purchase a drone from them because of the SERVICE that they are committed to delivering. Yes, I could have gone to Best Buy or one of the other Canadian dealers (for the exact same price), but I went with Dr. Drone. This past weekend was a beautiful one in Southern Ontario. My brother and I decided to head to lake country, rent a boat and do some fishing / swimming. Of course, I took along my drone. But, out on an island somewhere in Georgian Bay, I couldn't get the drone to work. I quickly Googled Dr. Drone's telephone number and, even though it was a Saturday, my call was immediately answered and I was walked through the steps to update the firmware, even though I didn't have the proper cables with me. Nadir (I think) was able to get me flying and taking incredible video within about 5 minutes. Having these guys behind me as I become familiar with DJI is the best investment I ever made with a technology product (with Apple being a close second!).

Bought my first drone here recently (mavic mini) and it was a great experience every step of the way with these folks. I live in Fredericton, NB so the mini was shipped to me. I paid $15 extra for next day shipping and it was worth it to have it so quickly. The package came shipped safely with a thank you note from Dr. Drone. Less than a week after the drone arrived it experienced a manufacturers defect and I had to send it back for them to check over (they are an actual DJI store). E-mail communication was excellent, although it took a day longer than I expected to get a shipping label I just chalk it up to the global pandemic currently happening so no points lost there. I asked before it arrived if I could pay for next day shipping again for whatever they sent back and they obliged. Once the Mavic Mini arrived at their store it wasn't long before I got an email from them with a new tracking number for the replacement, which I am currently waiting for. A+ online retail experience, definitely buying from these folks again when I inevitably buy the Mavic Air 2 for my business.

Have been coming here for drone supplies since they opened however after a recent purchase of an Osmo 2 I won't be coming back. These guys have a no refund policy on anything open box. I had the Osmo for 3 hours and after charging it and trying my note 8 I had trouble getting it to balance. Went to return it and was told no can do. Now I'm out $200 until I can find a buyer.

Sent them a bunch photos and description of my broken DJI Spark to get a quote, told them exactly what needed to be replaced and was quoted $150 parts&labour. Sent them the drone only to have them tell me it was now going to cost $435 all together. It also took them 2 weeks to diagnose, repair, and return it back to me. Would have been better off buying a new drone all together. Would not recommend doing business with these people.

I sent my drone in from Ontario to have the camera and gimbal replaced and it was back to me quickly and working like new. On top of that, my camera protector broke during transit, and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Definitely coming back here for all my future drone needs.

Dr Drone didn't make any money off of me (because I am an electronics technician capable of doing my own work) but ... Their little bit of understanding advice helped me get over the frustration seeing my quadcopter fly itself into a tree trying to return home with a weak battery. I was very nervous sending my expensive drone halfway across Canada to a company that I'd only learned about off of the internet. They charge atrociously on repairs. For no reason they make you pay for needless replacements of arms, whatever possible they try to include in replacements so that it boost the final invoice. They did not even know about Transport Canada guidelines that they have to give the complete documentation of the replaced parts. The sad part was they did not provide even after requesting. Be mindful when you get your drone serviced.

I came across Dr. Drones website when I was looking to purchase a DJI Phantom 4 RTK. I called them up and spoke with their sales associate, Ali. I sent Ali the quote I received from another seller and Dr Drone not only matched the price, but also pointed out an error the other seller made on the quote. First time in the store the staff was very friendly. I was looking for an osmo mobile which they couldn't end up finding the charging cord for, took about half an hour before they said it wasn't there. They then told me they would put an order in and it would take approximately two weeks before the charger came in. Ever since that first visit the only communication made has been when I called them to see if it was in yet. It has now been over a month maybe even two since I first went in. Definitely taking my business somewhere else. Edit: two weeks after this post.. still nothing. What amazing customer service????????
