Homebaked breads cookies scones and squares. We went to a special event called Desert Night. Booked seating only. David had Strawberry Shortcake. I had Blueberry Pie. I have never had such a wonderful pie crust. Owner called it his secret recipe. There was gentile french language background music. I sat by the window so had an ever so slight chill until the Java Blend coffee arrived. We were there about 45 mins. Just perfect!

So, I love home made bread. This bakery has THE best bread. I have consumed home made bread all over this great country, and The Dobbit Granny Brown bread is the best Ive ever had. Hands down. The Granny White is delicious as well, but I am addicted to the Granny Brown. So good. I’ve tried lots of the other goodies there as well. All of them fantastic. Did I mention the bread? They also brew Just Us Coffee from Grand Pre’ NS. It is fantastic and far superior to that other Canadian brand. Visit Dobbit’s. You will be addicted too!

The chef here is great! They make my mom her special order of bread every week and call her when it's ready. Don't know what she would do without it.

See some baked goods. Just be aware they don't always have pies. I was there on a Tuesday and disappointed that they only make pies on Thursdays and Fridays.

I went in to purchase two loafs of spelt or kamut bread a while back and placed my ad on the cork/tack community bulletin board, right away the older man at the counter walk to the bulletin board grabbed my ad and thumb tacts and told me that he does not want them there, escorted me out of the store. Yet months before I asked for permission to place my repair ad and the other person at the counter had no issues. This person was rude and I would never ever purchase anything from here again and I hope they go bankrupt.
