One of the best south asian superstore in town. What you need? You can get almost everything in here. The best part os price is reasonable like walmart. The owner is so kind and helpful. They have a huge collection of indian goods as well Bangladeshi and Pakistani grocery of daily need. Such as: paratha, Naan, Singara, Samosa, Jelebi, Pakora and so on. You’ll never get cheated or anything. I love this shop. And suggested to everyone.

This shop caters predominantly to the North Indian plate and palate. Nothing wrong with that. I was not able to find common masalas and spice powders from South India.

Excellent service provided to us by Amit and the Lady at the store, Me and my wife was stunned looking at the pricing as it was kept so reasonable compared to other Indian stores in the market. They even had a huge variety of indian stuff a person can think of, Infact whatever a person can wish for it was readily available. As we are from Moncton and every-time it is not possible for us to drop by, so Mr Amit even offered us with his cellphone number so that we can even order over the phone and he can later ship the item to us via courier or by Maritime bus whichever way is more feasible. And this is what I call as exceptional customer service. Great work guys... Keep up the good work???? I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy Indian stuff do visit this store as I am 200% sure you will not be disappointed.

Amazing place for Indian products. But I love this place and have been there countless times due to the variety of Bangladeshi items that are present here. It’s very hard to find anything Bangladeshi in Nova Scotia and the fact that BIGS carry so many of Bangladeshi staples really amazes me. Love this place!

This is one of the stores out of many in Halifax for your grocery needs but I would turn up here for all my Desi (Indian /Pakistani style grocery) shopping needs. None of the other South asian (Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi) grocery store in and around the same PIN area is as presentable and organised as this one , I mean I am in awe for their presentation itself to start with. They have all the essential household spices even for south indian food cuisine and believe me the list with southern food spices doesn't end if you start collating. The owner is learned ,knowledgeable , very pleasant and seems down to earth to talk to. I was looking for very specific item (Bournvita for expecting mothers) , which was not there. Owner went above and beyond, he not only arranged after a week but he got it delivered to me that too Free of Cost. I was touched. I wish this store all the best for their services ...

Be aware of buying food products from this store. I brought 4 snack packs from the store today and 3 of them were already expired. When I tried to return the items they did not even care about it. However this is not the first time, few months back I purchased rice from this shop and there were worms and mites in it. When we checked the store while returning the item most of the rice were in same condition. Then i thought it was an accident. But now i think this is what happens there most of the time. Looks like they are completely ignoring the food quality assurance and this is not acceptable. This is clearly a matter of ignorance that could even legally impact them. So please make sure you check the quality of foods that you buy from this store and i am not going back to this store again. Hopefully in the future they change their attitudes.
