We stopped here because it was highly recommended. A fun little Bakery that produces delicious pastries and bread. My favorite was the chocolate croissant. It was the best one I have tasted in Cape Breton. You know a place is good when you have overflow parking for all the patrons! Definitely coming back for more!

Looking for a Boulangerie? Look no further than this spot which is located in north end of Cheticamp. You can smell the goodness just getting out of your car! Whether it be a croissant, ????, ☕, ????, ⬛, or ????. This is a must stop!! Seems like they supply the baked goods to many of the restaurants in town.

Great bakery and delicious treats. My wife and I were travelling with another couple. The four of us walked in (wearing masks) to see what we would buy. Didn’t appreciate being “barked at” only 3 customers in the store at a time! I fully get it and understand why and am not disputing the regulations, but a little gentleness can go a long way. The treats were delicious, the attitude left a bit of a bad taste.

Caroline and I dropped in for an early lunch on our way home from riding the Cabot Trail. There was a small lineup as their maximum amount of customers allowed inside is limited to three persons at a time, but I found myself wishing I had more room in my luggage as I witnessed the staff preparing the breads in the back. Caroline ordered a glazed cinnamon roll and a Smoked meat on rye sandwich, with a coffee, while I couldn’t pass up a cheese croissant with a Smoked meat on rye. Just outside there are a couple of picnic tables so we were able to remove our masks and enjoy the food in comfort. The croissant was amazing! Had I known how wonderful, I would have bought a half dozen to take with me! Caroline shared her cinnamon roll with me, and we both enjoyed the sandwiches. Their rye is made with caraway and turned it into a signature sandwich that we both enjoyed. I’ve added this is a waypoint so we can stop in and sample more of their breads and desserts.

This place is an institution. A friend told me I had to go try some local specialties. Pork pies are bite sized tarts with date filling topped with icing. Jam jams are these ginger type soft cookies with a jam filling ( a bit a dry for my taste). The Tweed cake is a vanilla cake with chocolate chips covered in vanilla icing with chocolate tweed stripes. My friend, the local, had an amazing cinnamon muffin.

As we headed into town, we stopped for some bread. When we walked in the smell of baked goods was so aromatic. Even though we host had lunch, we bought wheat bread, macaroons, a blueberry turnover and a cinnamon roll. The chocolate macaroons was so very good. We piddled around Cheticamp for the afternoon and hit the bakery as we left town, buying a few more chocolate macaroons. If you like bake goods, you must stop here.

This is a pathetic bakery. Doesn't even deserve a star. Went there yesterday morning with my wife on a recommendation. Smelled good but the scones we ordered were stale and dry. There was hardly any filling. The egg sandwich and the meat sandwich were both dry and had no lettuce or anything other than a bland filling. There was not even the choice of any condiments. This place should be condemned
