This new place is a 'Nut Free' patisserie with a mixed bakery of Jamaican beef patties, Chinese style buns and French pasties and cakes without the nuts, yet the baker has a wall full of his credential and certification in French Patisserie. The Bailey Cheesecake ($5.31) and a 'Swiss Roll' I tried failed in all sense of the word patisserie. They are too sweet and pricey even compared to the best Patisserie in Richmond Hill and Scarborough. Good luck

We normally go here for delicious patties. Extra spicy for my partner and veggie for me (which is vegan might I add). They’re always fresh and super satisfying. This location doesn’t normally carry hot sauce packets however. After finding out that they are nut free, we ordered an nut allergy free cake for a birthday. We have a family member with allergies and loves knowing there were no nuts on the premises. It turned out beautifully and the entire family thought it was delicious and not overtly sweet. However, they decorated with fruit and little balloons that were not requested. We ended up decorating ourselves with pieces from home to make it more our style, but still very much enjoyed the cake.

Very friendly service, clean and cozy. Very tasty pastries and cakes. That Hong Kong tee is perfect. The place can improve with more yummy variety and shrink down the price. It's completely, totally recommendable. I wish we had such a shop in our neighborhood.

The staff is amazing here. I ordered a customized wedding cake and Jesse (the baker) was very nice to take the time and list out options and prices with me. The cake was amazing and the guests loved it! It wasn't heavy nor dry. I pick up pastries or even beef patties when I'm in the area. Easy to find parking and the shop is very clean.

I came back here finally, 5 years later after being away for awhile and the patties were just as delicious as I remembered. The owner, super friendly, and the buns were great too. I excitedly suggested this to my friends who need nut-free goodies since it's all nut-free! Can't wait to go back asap, can't believe I waited so long to go back!

This has been one of my favourite patty places for years. The staff and owner are extremely friendly (albeit slightly slow), and the food is always fresh and delicious. My go-tos are the spicy beef patties, and I can never resist leaving without getting some pastries and desserts, with the giant chocolate chip cookie being both my favourite due to nostalgia and taste

GET THE PATTIES HERE. They are very good! Crispy on the outside and filled adequately with meat in the inside. There was not a dry region on the patty, you know what I mean when you get patties from the subway station convenience store, you get some areas of the patty that are like REALLY dry. Patties are very moist. They even have coco bread that they bake themselves to put the patties in. I always get the Pineapple BBQ Pork bun, an extra spicy beef patty, and sometimes the jerk pork on rice if I am really hungry. I'm so glad I found this place! The people working here are really very friendly as well.

Very satisfying beef patties made fresh daily. Service can sometimes be slow but patties worth the wait. *Edit: renovated summer 2016. Looks much brighter and cleaner inside. Kitchen is no longer visible from the front store.

On a whim we stopped by. There's a large display case right after entering of branded merchandise (t-shirts, pins, etc) and then 2 other large display cases of goodies (cookies, macarons, cakes, buns, etc), a smaller case with patties and shelving with more buns/bread. They're a nut free bakery. I was intrigued how they made macarons without almond flour and asked what they used instead but unfortunately the employee didn't know. We got a HK milk tea, one of their jumbo cookies and a pack of macarons.The jumbo cookie was too sweet for us. As you can see from the photo, there's a lot of chocolate chips! Some of the macaron flavours kind of tasted the same but the matcha was prominently matcha.

1. cream tastes cheap. It seems that It is artificial cream, not natural cream. 2. croissant tastes not good, even worse than those from Walmart where sell cheaper croissant. conclusion: Price doesn't match the quality, and the quality is not acceptable to me. After I tried cream bread and croissant, I'm pretty sure, I will never come back again.

A little pricey but amazing and delicious sweets! The people working there were extremely nice and polite, and they were patient with me making up my mind. We really loved the taste. These two rolls came to around $10. They also have some jamaican foods and beef patties available there. I saw they also had iced coffee and regular store drinks available for purchase. They also take custom orders for cakes and sweets.

Pricier than those Chinatown bakeries and grocery stores but TOTALLY worth it! They use real matcha, real sesame, fresh strawberries. None of the artificial overly sweet flavours I get from cheap bakery stores. Selections are few but I think that's why they are good. They specialize and do good in the options they provide. Friendly, pleasant, and bright store. I totally recommend their buttercream rolls. It feels good to support a neighbourhood business. For those who complain about the price, well, perhaps the owner pays the employees better and treats them better? I went on Labour Day long weekend and they were sold out of some stuff. The owner was apologetic to the customers because he let his employee go home early to enjoy the long weekend.

Tried my first beef patty here back in 1987. Although decor has changed, quality has not. These days, I love their Jerk Pork (with extra gravy). They also sell a variety of buns, pastries, bread, cakes, Jerk chicken and oxtail. I love coming here for a quick bite.

Tastee is a well known patties (my Caribean Canadian friends speak highly of it). I love their patties, bread, pork buns & croissants. The place has been recently renovated. It is really tidy & clean. It's a family run business.

Paul and his boys have been holding this fort down for many, many years. "Pattie a la CoCo" is still a lunch time staple for some of the local folk. And even after it's 3rd renovation, at least that I'm aware of, quality still remains the same. Will be coming back here so long as Paul and his boys are running the show!

Goto place for great traditional beef patties, the have lots of other baked goods too, but I've always gone here just to get their patties. They also do cakes and have lots of grass baked goodies to choose from. They also carry some traditional savoury dishes like oxtail, jerk pork and chicken. Give the patties a try of you're in the neighborhood!

Been going here for over 20 years - still the best patties in town (Allan's at Peanut Plaza is a close second). Service can't be beat. Their oxtail, although a bit pricey, is very very good. I've never had anything from here that's been less than incredibly good. Great bakery.

A cute little town joint near DM & Steeles. They bake most of their pastries and delicacies every AM as I live nearby, and smell it during my morning walks. A little note though—don’t rely too much on the cakelets, as they are left overnight a couple of days pretty often. Otherwise, the prices are good and a good place for a quick meal or great hand crafted pastries with love!

Great little bakery. Patties are always good. Lunch items include jerk and oxtail. All bakery is nut free. They also make great custom cakes for birthdays and weddings.

Tasty jerk chicken meal with brown rice & a jerk chicken 3layer lettuce, tomatoes burger. If you are fairly sensitive like I am, the meal needs to be less of SALT & ANY other spices. Eg. pepper. All tax incl. $18.00. The place seems more spacious with dark grey hardwood floors after renos. Service by management was fairly accommating. He offered for me to go behind the counter so I can microwave & warm my cold slaw using defrost setting. He didn't know how to do it himself. Their sweets are gluten free & abit pricey like most gluten free products. Good assortment of fresh baked breads.

The owner is a very friendly guy. I usually buy beef patties from him. So far every patty I have bought has been enjoyable. The secret is he cooks them from raw to the finished product as opposed to re-heating frozen ones. Other places simply sell you reheated ones.
