Good selection of classic Russian/Eastern European baked goods, though I was a little disappointed that the amount of poppy seed on the outside didn't reflect how much poppy seed was on the inside - definitely would have loved more. - Mimi's Cake Tour

If i could give this 0 stars I would, They have the rudest staffs, Terrible cake and terrible service. They used to have fresh cake but now it taste like expired grape medicine

You can always smell the freshly baked breads around the corner from here. The have different kinds of freshly baked bagels and a whole bunch of pastries, cheese cakes, cookies etc. All the pastries I’ve tried were very tasty ???? Just went for a blueberry pie run, and it didn’t disappointment. The customer service can be hit or miss, but these people can bake. Try it out!

My father bought a Christmas cake from this bakery and it was the worst cake I have ever seen and ate. The outer cream was so dry and it all cracked up whole cake. Inside of a cake was dry as well. I can't believe they sell this a week old cake(?) to a customer.

We bought a slice of mocha cake on 31st December which is rotten. Cheap and spoiled ingredients and rusty smell, Stay away! unbelievable how they’re running a cake shop with such low quality standards

Stay clear of this place. It shouldn't pass as a bakery as the items are usually stale. Staff aren't very welcoming.

Bought some Danish here it tasted pretty good they also have cakes, chocolate milks, some bread, muffins and the prices are fair I say check it out if your interested

Horrible, not edible pastries and baking for a private bakery! We bought some Napoleon and cheesecake pastries, some poppy desserts. Napoleon layers were burned, so the taste was awful. The cheesecake pastries were made from the cheapest possible cream cheese with a lot of sugar. It was the worst experience with pastries and bakeries in Toronto. Even in the regular groceries stores like Metro or Loblaws, the bakeries and pastries are better. I do not mention unfriendly staff. I would advise the owner of this bakery to close it because you have no idea what it means to run a private bakery.

Bought 2 pastries as takeout from this bakery, both looked good. When we got home we tried them 1 was so stale we had to throw it out, the other was old but eatable. While the bread in this bakery may be good, stay away from the pastries as there is a serious issue with quality.

Very very bad customer service I use to bee every day client and no more!!! The lady with the black hair that speak hebrew how she can say the roster not working I not gonna sell a bagel after 1 hour another lady did it for me, I come to the store and j fill like no buddy wanna work like "take a go out from here" never saw something like that. .. My recommendations to the business owner take a look what's going on your workers don't wanna sell and give very very bad customer service. You lost another customer day after day you gonna lose more if you not gonna do something. A-

Not give even one star!!! Be aware that in pastery I've got piace of glass. I sheer it with my 4 years old son. Almost broke my teeth because of it. I send email to the bakery with video but they even didn't apologize ????????????

I need to agree with previous reviews. If I could I would give them no stars I would. Bought pastries and got home only to find them smelling and tasting burnt. Went back next day to return them only to be faced with very rude staff, who pointed to a sign that says "no refund or exchange". There should be an exception to that rule when something is stale or burnt. Buyer beware!!!. DON'T BUY FROM. HERE!!

Didn’t even go there, but the person I talked to on the phone when I called the bakery was the rudest one ever. What a shame for the place that a customer will never go there because their staff doesn’t even know how to respond phone calls.

The quality of the products are on par if not better than most bakeries. The butter tarts are the clear winner here, though beware the prices are quite high. Two pastries, a butter tart and a loaf of bread would bring you back almost $20.

I returned two items, a box of cookies with a cherry in the middle, inedible! Just a powdery pasty mess once its in your mouth, the baker likes these?? Expensive too. Today I bought jelly filled donuts, they tasted like they were 2 days old, I called them and asked to speak to the owner, how could they treat their customers like that? When I went in to return them, I was told they were fresh, then offered different ones which were "Fresh fresh" well, they were stale stale by at least 2 days. Will never return, what bakery tries to sell off old baked goods?

A little hand-written sign on the window says 'Best Buttertarts in town' - and they are! Flaky pastry, sweet, oozy interior, just a hint of a crust on the top of the filling - not super-sticky. They come in plain, raisin or pecan and all are wonderful!
