Tried the donuts and they were pretty good. There dough was good but to thick and the cream filling was great but not enough. If there dough wasn't as thick or if there was more cream filling it would have been a five star. Everything does look amazing here and I will be trying more.

I feel like the people working there make you feel like a chore when you walk in there... Not my kinda thing. Surprised to see so many people praising the customer service. Lot of mousse cake and stuff. Not my thing either. Wish they had cinnamon rolls with globs of frosting. Maybe the workers are only nice to regulars? Also.. what kind of bakery is this? Seems all over.. they got churros and random mousse cake.. what nationality is it? Edit. Also just read some of the owner replies to other customer reviews. Very rude and unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!?!?!!!!! How do they think that's a good idea ???????? I'll try one more time on the second Thursday next month because I like to give business another try.

I ordered a cake for my mom's 90th birthday and MarJo Bakery over delivered in the quality, cake decorations and taste. I was also impressed with the variety of specialty cookies. They also have a variety of breads, empanadas, sandwiches and homemade pasta dishes. Thank you MarJo for making my mom's day even more special. MarJo Bakery is a cozy little gem that offers fantastic sweets, breads and specialties like churros, Spanish donuts and Facturas. Their macarons and cakes are incredible too and we also really enjoyed their Christmas cookies this past December. Their service is amazing. They're happy to provide details on their pastries and baked goods if you want to try new things or have any questions. You can tell that they're passionate about their bakery and ensure everyone is welcome. You can also have a quick bite to eat since they serve fresh sandwiches, empanadas, and coffee, tea or cold beverages. Seating is very limited however, so you may find yourself eating in your car or outside the store. I highly recommend MarJo Bakery for any pastries, breads, buns, cookies, cakes, churros, macarons and lots more. They also will take custom orders for cakes, cookies and other baked goods if you have an event you're planning. Try them out, you'll absolutely love them.

Ferrero mousse cake is top notch. It's like a large sized Ferrero chocolate. It's got good crunch, cream and hazelnut. The chocolate work with gold accents is excellent. The pistachio chocolate mousse was decent. I would have preferred it to be a bit softer/tender and maybe with vanilla instead. We went later in the day on a Sunday and there was still plenty of variety to choose from. We also got two empanadas so it's not just desserts!

I live like 2 minutes away from this bakery and I've always wanted to try it. So I finally did today! And boy have I been missing out...dessert heaven. First when you walk in the delicious aroma of sweets slaps you across the face. Let's not forget the friendly guy across the counter, very good customer service. Each pastry is made in house...how awesome is that? I'm a baker myself, but even I don't make EVERYTHING from scratch. All the pastries looked delicious and I can't wait to try them all. I had a cheese bun, as well as a Tiramisu cake slice with a Latte. My mom had the spinach Ricotta bun with tea. We were both so content with our food. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my family here. I love small bakeries. Oh! Let's not forget about pricing too...very reasonable. I would charge more for what they have to offer since it's so fresh.

Been here twice after shopping in the area and got iced coffee twice. Both times they were sweet to me and the coffee was done exactly like i asked them to. They also have a large variety of sweets, breads and pastries, plus many different types of empanadas. They've also recently started selling some hot foods there. Ive also noticed they sell pizza dough and breadcrumbs which I'll probably be buying soon

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go! There are assortments of different baked goods that will have you coming back for more. My favorites would be the Tiramisu, Pistachio Roll, and Napolitan.

Not a bad place in a pinch to satisfy your sweet tooth. Primarily known for their empanadas and churros. Their cookies (priced by the pound at $18) are decent tasting, not too sweet, just found the texture and consistency a bit lacking. The empanadas aren't bad and when they say spicy they mean it, meaning there's a kick but not overpowering. Just hoped the crust was flakier.

These are 1/4 of the cheesecake and the custard doughnut. First of all both of are not fresh at all! They are very stale and the doughnut doesn't even have a real custard filling, it's some watered down cheaper version. The cheesecake was extremely dry and not fresh. Very disappointed, as the price did not watch the quality.

BEST BAKERY IN TORONTO They created the most beautiful wedding cake for us and the most DELICIOUS donuts we have ever tasted. The donuts and cake just MELTED in our mouths! All our guests enjoyed EVERY BITE!! We will make it a tradition to go as often as possible to buy their donuts but highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a caring business that really puts you first! Not like other bakers where they are all about the cost initially. They really discuss the details before giving you a quote. Thank you so so much for everything. We saved our 1 year slice and we cannot wait to have it in 1 year because we know it will be DIVINE! The donuts are in the back of the wedding cake in the image :)

I had a slice of their hazelnut cake and pistachio roll cake. I have to say I was genuinely disappointed as these were perhaps some of the worst cakes I've had for several years. The cake itself was very dry with almost rubbery texture. The pistachio cake had no pistacho flavour and it was almost as if they taken a simple vanilla roll cake put a crumble of pistachio outside and piped it with a green icing. The hazelnut cake was marginally better in that at the very least it had some flavour of chocolate and hazelnut, however again the cake itself was very dry. I did however enjoy the low ratio of icing to cake. I would have given them a one-star review except that I also had their almond honey cookie which I quite enjoyed – it wasn't very sweet and it had a nice shortbread crust. I also enjoyed their ricotta spinach empanada which frankly was the best thing I had from there Bakery. I thought the Empanada pastry crust was nice and tender and the filling although a bit Bland was well proportioned to the crust.

Excellent customer service delicious empanadas, churros and OH MY these donuts are a MUST try!!!!!!! The dulce de leche is my favorite!! The donuts are a generous size, with a pillow soft inside, enough to satisfy any sugar tooth. We did a late ubereats order for our first try(bakery was extremely nice), next visit we will definitely have to come by and pick up some more treats!!!!

I can only speak about the churros as they were the only pastries I bought from here, they were very disappointing. Not made fresh to order which already takes away from a churro. Barely any cinnamon sugar coating. In fact they only used sugar. And the worst part they did not even put any sauce on them if you want sauce you have to pay extra?! I thought that was a bit ridiculous considering it is a churro and they normally come filled with dulce de Leche. Other than that the place seemed ok nothing special.

To start with - you guys are awesome! i was trying to order a cake for my husband in Toronto while me being in India. I was looking out for a red velvet cake which is his favourite. This was my first time ordering with you(so was a lil skeptical :) ) but i must say that your service was great ,on time. The cake looked extremely pretty which speaks for the attention given to even little details . My husband says that the taste was awesome too and he loved it. This plaza has a few gems and MarJo is one! I just had the Spanish donut filled with dulce de leche as an option. They have a mixture of contemporary and Uruguayan Latin baked goods. Like empanadas, churros, creme brule, éclairs, danishes, steak sandwiches. Also a variety of teas and coffees. They also cater those simple but awesome flattened Uruguayan ham and/or cheese tea sandwiches, sandwiches de miga.

This little bakery is so cute and just makes you happy as soon as you walk in! The places looks real good , the food is DELICIOUS, and the customer service is so beautiful! We went a few days ago and it was a lady who served us, she was so friendly and kind. I asked her a bunch of questions and she asked me a bunch of questions , and when she realized what i don’t like, she made recommendations of what i should get . And she was totally correct ! And we went again yesterday and it was a guy who was just as friendly and kind. He made us laugh and stuff , and he also recommended what i would like based on what we talked about. Great customer service ! And the food was soooo good!

Have been wanting to try this place for a long time and it was really worth it. The item I thought was great was the chaja. It’s made of meringue and it wasn’t too sweet. You get that little dose of dulce de ledge when bite into the middle and that made it that much better. The meringue was crispy with a softness to it. Also had the Spanish donuts. Anytime these bakeries use the sugar sprinkled over, it’s usually too much. Would love to actually taste the donut with out sugar. They also do fillings and I got the custard. My kids loved it as well. I might be biased with the sweetness as I do have a big sweet tooth, but Marjo bakery was very good with the balance. Great job! Will definitely recommend. Update: Still just as great as the first day I tried them! The Spanish donuts are still fluffy and tasty! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics and more amazing content!

I ordered 6 cupcakes for my co-worker for his birthday through Ubereats and the whole experience went well. I mentioned to write a note for my co-worker, and everything I ordered plus the note was exactly what I wanted. Meh. Very meh. So so so meh. I went here last year sometime. I do not understand the current five star reviews. Maybe this place is not my jam? Service: The owner showed me how to pronounce names of the items and informed me what her favourites were. Ambiance: Something similar to a cheap Chinese bakery, but mildly more pricier (still incredibly affordable). What I purchased and tried: I love baked goods, and so I bought 2-4 of each one to share with a small group of my friends. The only things I did not buy were the cakes in refrigerated cake display and the cookies. Unfortunately, most items tasted quite dry and hard to me, and none of it was very memorable. I very much remember the dryness. The pastries were bought midday on a Friday, so it wasn't as though the goods were sitting there the entire day. They had a spot for day old items and I don't believe I was served with stale baked goods. Instead of devouring my pastries, I would take a bite and see if the next pastry was any better. Rinse and repeat. The consensus was clear amongst our group. Many of pastries were hard and dry. I do think the Spanish donut was okay. The empanadas were bland. The rice balls were not particularly flavourful. The churros were hard, and boy, I am glad I didn't buy too many. We were pretty disappointed in our group. Perhaps the cakes and cookies are where the bakery's strengths are? I doubt it though.

Churros are rock hard. Baked goods also taste off. Beef empanadas are dry. Could be better. Regret paying for it. Saw staff (counterperson/owner/I don't know) arguing with some other customer in a way that seemed to pick on the customer. Put me off, and tried to ignore it. Combined with taste, I won't be coming back.

Tried cookies,macarons and other desserts that the owner recommended. Everything we had was amazing and would definitely recommend trying all the cookies. My personal favorite was the chocolate tart that had a white topping and chocolate shavings on top, would have attached a picture but girlfriend ate it too fast.

Found this place on a whim with my mom. The selection of goodies is immense! We ended up getting a bunch of different types and even got a box of cookies to gift to my partner's mom for mother's Day. She really enjoyed them. They sell by weight, just as an FYI. Very cute bakery!

Tried red velvet cake and tiramisu. The red velvet cake is alright. It is moist and not very sweet which is good. The tiramisu is so so. Maybe I am wrong but I think the filling is whip cream.
