Some goods are amazing - their banana chocolate chip muffins and sunflower butter bars. But they have a tendency to have dry, heavy or oversweet baking. At least it's gluten free. Stick to the muffins (except the date-based ones) and you will not disappoint!

Ordered through Spud but didn't realize it was GF. Icing was ok but carrot cake tasted chalky. The worst part was the packaging in a plastic bag? The icing was stuck to the bag.

Love this place!! They make *the best* ginger cookies. The peanut butter cookies are pretty banger too, and their power bar is a must with any order!

They have moved most of their product to online and aren't open daily anymore. They make special order cakes too. We always order a few days before our birthdays and they are very accommodating and now deliver. Enjoy!

They are always friendly and they're baked goods are divine. This bakery is a gem! I could be there everyday to sample their wares but I'd be more corpulent. Everything they bake turns to gold. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy some of their vegan fare that is the best in metro Van !

The entrance is in an unusual location in a laneway. I highly recommend the cinnamon sugar mini donuts, they are divine. The lemon loaf would have been better had there been lemon zest or extract inside the loaf. The lemon flavour is only in the frosting on top and the loaf is plain. Aside from that everything else I ate was delicious and I will definitely be going back!

Two Daughters Bakery is still in this location. Christmas baking: cookies, pies, butter tarts (vegan) is flying off the shelves. Two Daughters makes the best gluten free, vegan bread. It tastes like real bread, it's the best toasted.

Nothing special. I don’t really get all the great reviews. Tried some donoughts because reviews of the place were so high. Was disappointed, bland tasty. Maybe it’s because I never eat gluten free but I thought I’d give it a try. If all gluten free stuff tastes like this then I really don’t understand why people are so obsessed with it

Love this place for my Gluten-Free delights. That peppermint cookie is a dream. Only downside is that I keep missing donut day - my fault for that though. Staff is always great and with better smiles.

Hi Everyone, I am the owner of Two Daughters Bakeshop and I can assure you that we are still open for business. Just tricky to find. Our entrance is off the alley between 1st and Esplanade, we do not face East 1st. LoLo Lane is the name of the Alley.

Friendly service and baked goods that don't try to replicate glutenful baking. The holy grail for Pizza on a gf crust is moisture. Two daughters have somehow achieved a moist tomato sauce layer on a decent crust with a dairy free cheese top. Delicious, filling, and they heated it up for me to go. Also had a blueberry peach pastry which was transcendent. Crumbly, not too sweet with great fruit inside.

Wth was in that? I had 2 doughnuts and a mini cupcake I was promised no egg no gluten no dairy. Vegan food. I'm severely allergic to wheat and eggs. And I am having severely bad reactions to eggs in there, I'm sooo bloated my stomach looks like a beach ball. I'm in severe pain, I have not eaten anything but fruit veggies and gluten free pepperoni since yesterday until this. Within an hour I'm suffering egg allergy of eating your bakery. I was going to go to a friend's birthday tonight and take my family out to dinner. But I am spending more time in bathroom than playing with my kids. Thank you, your egg infested goods have ruined my day and i will suffer for 24 hours roughly.

Easily my favourite bakery (and I've been to a lot of bakeries). Pretty amazing that everything here is both vegan and gluten free - the taste is not compromised at all. It's outright some of the best baking anywhere. Highly recommend the blueberry scones, and the carrot raisin walnut muffins, and the donuts, and, well, everything.

Not a happy customer. My order custome made cake which cost quite a bit of $$$, was very disappointing. The cake was not even similar to what I've requested, ingredient which was agreed on was not found in the cake. Would not recommend this bakery

As someone who doesn’t eat a lot of gluten free treats, this was lovely! We had a lemon loaf with fresh glaze (yum!) and some cookie sandwiches. The chocolate in between the cookie sandwich was a fully solid chocolate so the sandwich was hard to chew. The lemon loaf was lovely - crust was a little crunchy but the loaf had a light flavour with a dense texture. The glaze really helped with the density of the loaf. The ladies working in the bake shop were so nice and accomodating to our group.

I dream about the cinnamon buns! I have also eaten a Sunflower energy bar almost daily (from Artiggiano/Delaney's) for 3 years lol It's so hard finding GF goodies that are actually delicious, and hands down, these are the best I've ever had! Highly recommend a visit here if you haven't been already!

Got a peach pie and a straw rhubarb pie.. Paid $20 each! Not only was that absurd but the crusts turn to dust when served and were incredibly salty. Not happy and never again.

This is one of those "hidden gems" that is easy to miss unless you know where you are going or what you are looking for. I think I probably walked by a million times before I knew they existed. Haha. The brownies, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry scones and curry chickpea buns are personal favorites of mine... But there are lots of delicious treats and goodies to choose from. A bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it.

Yum! We ordered the 6 inch Chocolate Cake for a family gathering that required it to be vegan and gluten free. The process was so quick and easy communicating with Erin by email, she had it ready with only two days notice. It was amazingly delicious and moist! Highly recommend. Thank you!

I have tried the sandwich cookies, some sort of pizza-like pastry, scones and their DONUTS. The donuts are hands down my favorite, and I have been back many times to get them for friends, coworkers, and myself. I love that everything is vegan and gluten free as I can't have dairy or gluten. It's such a cute spot, I enjoy taking my friends here for a snack and sitting out on the porch. :-) The only thing I would suggest is improving the coffee situation. Good coffee + your scones or donuts = Heaven!

We tried a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. Both were delicious, and I rarely eat gluten-free food. The coconut milk latte they made us was the only great coffee drink I've ever had with coconut.

Completely gluten free which is awesome! Wish there was more variety in products that you can buy in store as well as More displayed in the shop. More flavors of cupcakes would be wonderful. However the cinnamon buns are amazing!!!! Great place to pick up a treat for a special occasion if you have celiac disease or just because!

Very disappointing since they went vegan. Their gluten free stuff used to be great. Not sure how they stay in business now. There must be a lot of vegans supporting them. The celiac community sure doesn't.
