Friendly staff, bright and clean space with few free specified parking spots in front. I like taste and quality of "Barbary", a traditional Iranian bread by this bakery which is baked by white or whole wheat flour.

Their breads are truly delicious and greatly represent the flavor of the traditional Persian bread, even better than the ones baked in Iran. I'm very disappointed to see that basic hygienic protocols are overlooked. On two separate occasions I've witnessed the cashier use a single pair of disposable gloves to sweep, pick up garbage, handle cash and fresh baked bread! Food Safe protocols were not considered!!!!

An Iranian bakery, we love our visits here. Their "Barbari" (a form of Iranian flat bread, they call it flat bread in the store, comes in whole wheat and white variety) is amazing, but they have other whole wheat loaves too, plus various bread toppings: jams, tahini, butter, cheese etc. - Fresh pastries too!

They bake the best breads in North Vancouver. Their Flat bread is amazing and their sesame Baguettes is wonderful. I’ll give them another credit for their working hours, they are open till 8 pm while other bakeries are usually close. Thank you Saboos.

Us Iranians usually miss the flavour of Iranians bread here in Canada. I love this place with their original breads. try their Barbary and you understand what I mean!! we also get our pizza dough from this place because it is super fresh! They have a pretty good Halva ( Sweet ) as well!

Unfortunately the people working there do not speak English so it was impossible to order anything. They did have some nice bread samples with hummus and eggplant dip which was nice. All of the breads apparently were not for sale ( from what I could gather the baker with saying) and they only sell pizzas and sandwiches to the public. Not what I expected. (edit: i guess I was speaking to a baker. I went in to give it another shot and the lady was more than helpful. Added a star for nice smelling bread and friendly service)

Didn't know about this place at all-came across in Google search for bread after first checking out Bad Dog Bread (which is just a 10 minute walk away). Saboos is in the Capilano business park. Other posted pictures show shelves with bread. Those shelves have now been replaced with food products (packaged/jarred/canned) so they have expanded, closer to a delicatessen. Was surprised to find a lot of interesting things, especially the unsalted butter. However, we came for the bread and it was delicious. We got the whole wheat version. The butter was also very good and creamy. We also bought blueberry/pomegranate pastries. There were just the two left so we were drawn to them. I think the phyllo was a little undercooked inside and to be honest the filling was very bland. I think they just used some commercial filling. We will definitely return for the bread and I'm interested to try some of the items in the fridges. A great one-stop shop for bread and to fill your pantry.

They have the best whole wheat bread, and breakfast cream that you don't find anywhere. Their Halva- sweet tahini-, is also very nice and popular. I will try their pizza dough as well next time that looked yummy!

Pizza from this place was absolutely delicious...a literal hidden gem in north vancouver...not a true Italian experience but the fusion of Persian, Italian and Lebanese flavours are fantastic combination. Try them, you will not be dissapointed. Their specialty is fresh baked loaves and breads, but don't be decieved there is so much more!

Unbelievably delicious... and fresh. I've tried few items and they were all great. The best Barbari bread I had in Vancouver, tasty Zeitoon Parvardeh, delicious pizza, palatable honey with honeycomb... A must try place!

Heavy line up! Does not take any other so you as customer can save/ manage your time !!! This is the only place in the VGA that bakes Barbari, otherwise, I would definitely suggest the other!!! I live far away and always have to explain to staff that I have to order and make sure there is any bread then drive for 45 minutes to pick it. So annoying that sometimes they don't care!

One of the best bakeries in Vancouver. Great quality (no additives), great taste and friendly staff. They have excellent home-made fresh hummus too. Also, my husband is gluten sensitive, but he has no issues with their sourdough bread. Highly recommend it.

I have been shopping from this place over two years and i was always happy with the product and the service until recently when they increased the prices for barbary bread which was $2.50 and then sudden change to $3.50 but i didn't mind but today i went and bought a barbary bread at the same price $3.50 but i was shocked when i saw the size and the thicness of the bread compared to ones i bought two weeks ago. The size is much smaller than before so i am not a happy customer and if this doesn't change to the right size as before i will not shop there anymore and i can tell you you can buy barbary brad for &2.50 from other places in North Vancouver. Dear owner if you care about your customers and your buiness please don't try to under mind them by reducing the sizes of your bread with the same price this is not honest.

Very organized store with great smell of fresh bread. I like how they have frozen option as well (frozen pizza dough and bread). The desserts looks delicious but I didn’t taste any yet, hopefully it tastes as good as it looks like. I tried barbari bread and it was super tasty and very soft! Overall nice bakery

This place bakes authentic persian style bread which tastes very similar to its original bread in Iran. Very fresh and healthy. I buy it every other day for my office and Everyone (from different nationalities) love "Barbari". I Strongly recommend to try their products.
