As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is very good, and it is founded on a large number of scores, so we can conclude that the assessment is very reliable. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to put scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Bakery is classified in the category of Grocery store.
Short lines and great employee-customer service. The only thing that was missing that would have made this a 5 star review is if the shelves were stocked and not so many missing products.
Worst place to go the cashier was very rude I understand they are busy and there is about 2 hours left of her shift but doesn't mean you have to Snap at the customer for not hearing you management did nothing but say come at a quieter time then if you have trouble hearing will never be going there again
The grocery guys let produce go bad and will scowl at you if you show them. I know it's extra work but they should probably keep things sanitary. I have found expired produce, meat, and milk. If you shop here, make sure you check the dates, otherwise it is a great place to shop.
I shop here fairly often. Some of their no name brand food products are hit in miss but the prices are good and staff is friendly. Sometimes the lines at the register can get quite long
I normally make the drive to this store rather then the closer one. The store is much cleaner and more inviting.
I am genuinely impressed with how nice this store is compared to the one on Mckweon. Affordable groceries! However, some of the produce wasn't properly rotated & some of the packaged lettuces (spring mix, spinach, arugula) looked & smelled like they were spoiled. When i checked the dates I noticed the older, expired stuff was behind the newer stuff
With capacity limits increased, I have resumed grocery shopping here. It's a popular place with locals so timing is key. My favourite times to visit are weekday afternoons around 1:30 and weekend days around 11. Check a flyer before you go to see what's on sale and prepare for a shopping adventure with great deals as your reward. There was also a notice posted above the express lane point of sale reading that abusing the employees would result in offenders being denied service, ejected from the store and reported to police - rightly so. The fact that the posted black and white notice was deemed necessary is disconcerting to me. Be kind, especially to folks who are working to keep you fed. Update: stocks may seem to be depleted but the staff is working hard to keep us all supplied. Queues are back to individual registers. We're creeping back toward normalcy.
Genarly good but seemed pricey a little and no self check out, so waiting too long in lines.
Clean and great value! Often with excellent produce ????????????
Very clean. Fully stocked. Pleasant staff. Reasonable prices.
Clean and tidy staff are always there to help
Good prices. Hardly any line ups
The place is a bit out of date. But i must say every employee i have experienced here are very nice and polite!
Staff was exceptional today. I had a small issue at the checkout but they were quick to correct it for me.
Worst greater ever. Lined up at door she noticed me and said nothing then when next customer walked in I said excuse me and she very rudely said. I never told you to line up. Won't return to this store.
I don't think this is a well managed store. Cashiers are excellent but produce staff are generally rude or un-cooperative. (not all), shelves are not well stocked & there is inconsistent inventory ( I am not talking just about sale items.). The re-stockers carts are usually parked across aisles instead of long side. The shopping carts in the parking lot is just ridiculous. They regularly stretch right across the lanes traffic plus the carts are always cluttered with garbage. The public washroom is always dirty & without soap & TP almost always. I realize that these are signs of a busy store but they are also a huge sign that management does not care about small irritations. This, more often than not, means management is not attending to big things either. I think it is a very successful store because of the Brand, the prices & the location. Certainly not because it is well operated.
Lots of items available here, great customer service and even though the line ups are long sometimes, they move really quickly!
Always a great shopping experience, and their system of one single checkout line that directs you to a cash app they become available is over of the simplest and most effective in North Bay.
Good prices and I like the store layout but quite often find the shelves and produce area out of stock which can be frustrating if you are looking for a one stop shop.
Clean, orderly, great prices and a wide selection of items. Best grocery store in North Bay in my opinion
I bought meat yesterday and the expiry date still has a couple days. I came home and somthing smelt like a dirty old rotten egg when i went into my fridge. So i throw out some old things and it still stinks. I open the meat pack and it smells like dirty old rotten eggs. The sad part is that was my last 5 dollars i had to buy dinner. Im never buying meat from there again. Lucky i didnt eat it and sue.
Love it here, quick to restock my favorite items , sometimes slow service but worth it cuz I can usually expect to find everything I need for a great price
The staff is always super helpful and the store is fairly clean with good selection. I find the meat department is often slim pickings, particularly for bird. This might be dependent on the times I'm going in but the only time I've found it somewhat consistent to be well stocked with good looking product is during times I'm not able to shop at.
I am now a confirmed online shopper, thanks to the positive experiences that I have every week. Sometimes an item or two has to be substituted, but a friendly phone call from a staff member, sorts that out with me before my order gets completed. Being a senior and wanting to limit my social interaction in public places during the covid-19 pandemic, I truly appreciate this service. My veggies are always fresh - better than what I used to choose myself when I did in store shopping. Prices can't be beat either and that helps when on a fixed income.
Always clean, great selection with fresh produce. Need to shop when flyer starts for fresh meat, they tend to run out quickly on specials.
It's a grocery store, there's food,what else can I say
Shopping is a pleasure at this spacious store. Always clean & well stocked.
Never ever stove top turkey flavor only chicken expired bread when I went in today and they said it's not our fault it's the bread company fault. I'm sorry if your a grocery store selling food it's your responsibility to make sure it is safe to sell
When a sale starts if you go two days later everythings either gone or out of stock. Never a smooth shopping experiance. The staff is very helpful and the laides are great. The ladies make the expérience pleasant. Great Team No Frills. The staff make it a five star. Thank you.
The place is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, however the meats always expire sooner than marked, some food items are expired already and still on the shelves. And it feels like the fresh produce, dairy, and meat departments are woefully under stocked every time I come in for groceries.
Great staff. Good selection of products. Excellent response to the changes required for covid. Online ordering and pickup smooth and easy.
I absolutely recommend Jeff & Tanis No Frills. The staff are amazing and they always take care of us. I do large orders for work functions and every single time the staff are there to help, the prices are amazing and the quality of the product is excellent. The online ordering is easy and the pick up is efficient as well. I am so impressed, thank you everyone!
Great overall pricing in a discount grocery. Produce is very fresh, and we'll stocked. Parking can be a challenge at times as they are mall front location.
The cashier rang through my items, while asking me about my day, switched over my PC points to the new optimum program, and finished with a smile in less than 60 seconds....I was impressed, just sad I didn't catch her name to attach it here. But whoever you are, great job - actually made my day.
Honestly i enjoy shopping here. Staff are normally very courteous of shoppers. And helpful when needed. If they dont know where something is they get someone who does. Also pc express is really top teir (online ordering and pickup)
Clean store, great prices and friendly staff. My go-to when doing big grocery trips.
Lowest grocery prices on many items. Produce can be ugly but affordable price. No in-store butcher or bakery. Both available prepackaged. Staff are helpful and friendly.
No Frills struggles to operate satisfactorily during covid. Poor staff and staffing levels lead to increased wait times and frustration.
normally it's not bad shopping here. but when you get a bag of torn bread, which happened today (my fault for not double checking) you would expect the store to stand behind it. apparently not. had to buy a second loaf. well done. probably not going to waste my time shopping there anymore.
Produce is sub par...good prices though
I miss the single line number calling for check out. So much easier.
Besides being well laid out, very friendly staff I've ever seen, EXTREMELY well priced for todays economy! I buy Distilled jugs of water from their store, which I need for some medical equipment that requires ONLY distilled water & the price CAN NOT BE BEAT ANYWHERE ELSE! Not to mention I can buy MANY MORE there for my needs & still have an AWESOME SAVINGS!
Great prices and close to my house two big bonuses but finding out they donate their food that can't be sold to the Gathering Place a local soup kitchen has made this grocery store my top pick. The food rescue is such a great program food that would've been tossed in the dumpster is sent to the gathering place and used. The food that cannot be saved is put into the compost bin than used in a community garden.
I get the 10 chicken strips and some roasted garlic mayo all the time. Tge price can't be beat.
Cashier was nice and friendly store was clean
Not enough cashiers on to check out customers. Top shelves not stocked and when trying to get product staff doesn't help.
Great selection of food for great prices. The cashier was very friendly (even after I accidently dropped a pint of raspberries everywhere). Would recommend ????
Always a friendly place to shop. They tend to be better stocked than other No Frills locations as well. And you can't beat their Facebook presence. ;) Good prices, fresh products and a well laid out shop.
There are more products then the one in Sturgeon Falls. The staff are helpful and friendly :)
Love the atmosphere here! Its bright, clean and a ton of choices/variety! Only complaint is regarding the PC points, not the store itself...takes FOREVER to wrack up anything substantial.
I like any No Frills so they will always get a decent review from me. The staff is pretty good here except one cashier that refuses to use the 2nd conveyor and a few of the stock boys do not know to move out of customers way when you block a product. This is one of the more cluttered No Frills i have been in and I worked in one for a year, not dirty but cluttered.
I have been going grocery shopping here for couple years now. It is a smaller grocery store, but always has everything I need in stock. The management, cashiers and others are always happy, which is nice. Great store!!
Good store. Good prices. Store is relatively clean but some staff need to learn to be a little more friendly, especially when on you have small children with you. I understand everyone had bad days, but don't take it out on the kids.
Store is usually well kept and clean. Easy to find things in there and overall service is welcoming. With the changes in covid they stepped up their game with making sure clients and staff have a safe and welcoming experience.
Great place but not for PRICE COMPARING! They dont Price compare lije signs and advertising says. WE WON'T BE BEAT MEANS NOTHING!! Had to fight with Staff about the PRICE'S & PRICE MATCHING!! NOT IMPRESSED WOULD RATHER SHOP AT FRESHCO OR FOOD BASICS!!
Prices are very reasonable. Cheaper than most other stores and they have all the products and produce that you need. Always stocked up too.
I used the self check out. I needed help with some vegetable codes and the young girl attending the self check out had an amazing memory for produce codes. I was really shocked. She was amazing
Store is extremely clean and staff are friendly. The store needs to do a better job of marking the one-way aisles as I encountered a few shoppers that seamed to not notice the general flow of shopers.
Horrible. 3 times now I have gone in because there was a good sale (no limit in the flyer) hopping to stock up on this item and they have an in-store limit. Are they even aloud to do this? What they don't want you to know is the other No Frills never has limits. I know this because each time I have been limited by Jeff and Tanis I have gone across town to the better No Frills and got all of the item I wanted. You don't want my money Jeff and Tanis. No problem! Guess where I'm shopping from now on. It's worth going to the other side of town. There's a good $6000.00 gone from your store.
Shop here a lot, renovations are really nice improvement, however, I , for one would rather go through a cashier who has to earn money to survive, vs a self check out.
Jeff is so approachable and always looking for ways to improve customer experience. Huge store for the city and generally have everything well stocked, especially flyer items. Depending on when you get there though, if its later in the flyer week cycle, you may not find what you're looking for, just be aware.
Generally an ok place to shop but often find empty shelves and when staff is told they usually can get items in the back. Last shopping trip I was not happy with the one line for cashiers. I was asked to go to cashier 6 where a customer was still packing groceries and went right by cashier 2 where there was nobody. When I hesitated the cashier was rather rude and told me to go to six. Made no sense.
I usually shop every week at your store and spend around$150.00. Most of the time I have no problem except for over ripe watermelon and cabbage that had brown spots on inside when cut into last summer. I live out of town so you are my last stop before the long ride home. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THERE IS TOILET PAPER AND PAPER TOWELS IN YOUR WASHROOM! Two weeks ago there was nothing and I had to use old tissues in my pockets. 90% of the time no paper towels. Yesterday omly enough t.p. for only one other person. Sometimes I go to the other No Frills because their bathroom is well taken care of. You really need to address this problem!
Very impressed with the friendly, helpful staff, despite the current situation! The line up is a bit of a wait~ but everyone is doing their best, to make it easier, for each customer! The shelves are stocked, with most everything, now.
As always, an easy shop and friendly staff. They are always happy to see us.
Way, way, way better than Mike & Lori's! Honestly! The store is much larger, so the aisles are way wider. This also gives them more shelf space for an increased amount of items, and a larger selection. It is a bit of a pain to drive downtown to shop here, but worth it in the end. Way cheaper than other places in town, and with how disgusting the other place is, a much better place to shop. Clean, with great people to help you find what you need, and I have never had a bad interaction with the cashiers.
Not one cart has all 4 wheels working. Not just that but there so rusted they should scrap them kids get cuts so we don't bring them. Floors are descusting I'd hate to work here let alone shop..
We had exceptional service. The store was bright and clean as always. Love shopping here.
Competitive prices. Clean. Lowering to 3 stars from 5. Still clean and competitive. However, they do not bother advertising their produce properly. The "product of Canada " signs stay up even though the label on the produce clearly indicates it is imported. This happens regularly. It's misleading. For those of us wishing to buy Canadian, it's an issue.
Bought reduced price chicken wings. It still had a few days until it was past its best before date. Opened the package at home and it smelled rank. Tried to return the chicken shortly after and they would not provide a refund citing Store Policy and Health and Safety reasons. Told them they can keep the dank chicken. Horrible customer service. Going somewhere else for meats from now on.
Very clean location and the staff are super courteous.
Attended this store shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday July 7. Shelves were BARE. Very disappointing after the nearly hour drive. Why isn't staff stocking overnight so we can spend as little time as possible shopping in this time of social distancing?
There was very little product on the shelf on my last visit and what was there was not very fresh looking. Store was not the cleanest and the cashier running the express lane was also running back and forth helping other cashiers with problems, ultimately slowing down the express lane.
I shop for a local food bank, usually once a week. We always shop at this No Frills. The prices seem to be the best and they often have great specials. The staff is always friendly and very helpful.l would recommend this store to everyone. Very clean and up to date.
Woman with a med size dog no service vest in the cart! Mask under nose looks down at arrows and see she is going the wrong way and continues to walk down! Wow and you allow people to have their animals in carts that people put their food and kids in! Maybe the person working the door should monitor a wee bit better. Oh how about the people in there with no masks heading towards you and then is insulted cause I don't want them close. Won't be shopping there anytime soon!
Excellent produce with an unexpectedly varied selection- they regularly carry fresh jackfruit. They are the only store in town where I can almost always find Daiya individual yogurts and store brand coconut yogurt.Good prices, clean and well laid out store.
Well stocked and organized, clean and easy to navigate.
Very clean and a great selection of fruit and meats
Clean and set up well to keep people spaced out and the line moving quickly their staff are always friendly and seem pretty happy.
At Jeff & Tanis No Frills it's always nice and clean..nice costumer service..great deals .. keep up the good work..
My favourite grocery store! Best produce by far. Very clean and organized. Always has good stock of items.
Prices aren't even marked properly and the prices charged are usually over the price advertised.
They don't staff cashiers fast .. was in store about 11am and there were 2 cashiers working and had to be 20 people lined up at each cash I just dropped my one item and went to $$ store and bought my item.. Managers ir even a cashier should of called a manager to get 1-2 cashes open up till rush was done and not make customers leave store and go elsewhere to shop .. Not saving money if customers leave because not enough cashiers and looong waits to check out .. you're loosing money..
Slow to get the produce out on display today! 28/05/21 Other than that, good selection and great flyer this week.
Love the store, friendly staff, especially the lady that sits at the door to greet costumers. She my favorite
Well Jeff and tanis , not impressed your shopping carts are never cleaned, your sanitizing station is filthy, you have signs up for the covid procedures for the customers mabey you should read them. And what's with the front of your store the tile is all worn out I'm sure with the amount of money your making you can have it fixed. Even the food bank is cleaner than your store.
I purchased what I THOUGHT WAS THE SPECIAL FOR ORGANIC ROMAINE LETTUCE ON SALE FOR 3.88 because there was a large sign in front of the romaine lettuce displaying the sale sign. However this was not case as the lettuce behind the big sale sign was not the sale item. This is an underhanded way of getting customers to purchase a higher priced item by erecting a sale sign in front of the item while there is no sign of the advertised item. Tacky tacky marketing practise that should be declared illegal. Next time this procedure happens to me I will decline the purchase and walk right of your store. Very very unacceptable way of doing business.
It was ok longer lines than needed
They're getting consistantly cheaper with quality. Last 2 times i bought peanut butter it was rancid when opened.. Fruits been going after 1 or 2 days.. Just getting to cheap trying to cut corners and save a few bucks now...
Great store, I can always depend on competitive pricing. Fresh produce, fast check out service with friendly staff.
