Have been to this bakery countless times over the years and must say that the quality and taste of the baked goods is not what it used to be. Bought some pineapple tarts for my Aunt and Uncle recently and they couldn't believe that they were from here: dry, tasteless and waxy. My family found the same with the what appeared to be - tasty - white and milk chocolate cakes - but turned out to be highly disappointing! Don't know what's going on but things are not moving in the right direction here. ...At least the canned pop was scrumptious. P.S. As the exceptionally talented Gaston Lenôtre says: "Certain baked goods should NEVER ever ever be frozen" [translated].

Arrived from Europe to visit and had a terrible experience here with bread. Unlike a reviewer who stressed the word fresh, the bread wasn't that but s-t-a-l-e. I thought initially that it might have been in the day+ old section but my wife said to the contrary, it was in the daily baked part and I always listen to my wife who didn't like the look of the place as first impression. Three loaves went straight into the dust bin. Would never have an experience like this back home. Beware.

Phenomenal bakery. It's incredibly difficult for me to enter this bakery without buying way too many sweets, haha. I love the coconut tarts, chocolate pecan tarts, caramel nut brownies, chocolate croissants, pineapple upside down cake, empire cookies, ugh the list can go on forever. Just go in and buy one of everything (I really want to right now!) The staff is always sweet, polite and helpful. Their seasonal window displays are adorable!

Great treats, Scottish and otherwise. My favorites are ecclescakes, empire biscuits, and fern tarts. Also lots of breads and savory dinner ideas. We went as kids and everything is still just as wonderful! I love to support independent shops; it would be an awful world without them. Very friendly service! If you're visiting Niagara Falls stop in here for some hotel treats. ????????????????????

Where to even begin. My family and I make weekly trips to Moodies, even sometimes twice a week! I think we’ve tried almost everything Moodies has to offer, from the bread, to the pizza, to the cakes, cookies and plentiful desserts. Matt and his beautiful wife were able to bring back the OLD Moodies back to Niagara Falls after several failed attempts from previous owners. The dundies were my favorite childhood dessert that my Oma would purchase me when I was younger. When the weavers sold it, no one else since then has even attempted to make them, much to my surprise, when I walked into Moodies and saw them over a year and a half ago(!?) Ever since then we’ve been weekly customers, getting to know the owner who is honestly so kind hearted, and his beautiful wife who is honestly such an amazing baker. Thank you for finally bringing an amazing bakery back to Niagara Falls, we were missing it. If you are a tourist or a even a local looking for a new place for some desserts or fresh buns and bread, this is a MUST STOP, you honestly won’t regret it!

I ordered a simple vanilla cake with sprinkles. Moodie's went over the top, added fresh fruit & mini heart decorations, I was very pleased! The cake was really good as well, icing wasn't too sweet & the price was fantastic! 100% would recommend Moodie's!

This is a great bakery, one of - if not the best one in Niagara Falls. They did the desserts for our wedding because we liked their products so much, I will always shop here - their pastries, bread, and cakes are delicious. You wont be disappointed.

I go there everytime im on Queen street. Best place for baked goods. Baked fresh daily and always best prices in town. Friendly staff and the pastrys are made with love. My favourite is eveything they sell. My plan is to go in and buy mabey two things. But i walk out with alot more. Everything looks so good and tastes as good as they look. Keep up the great work.

I found Moodies Bakery by mistake and I'm so happy I did Moodies is 10 it of 10. Not only was everything fresh but traveled well. Now my In-laws is enjoying Moodies only thing they could do better is open up a Moodies in Warrensville Hts Ohio. ???????????????????????? A most distasteful experience and has forced me to write this review. The red velvet cake was atrocious and tasted like it had just been removed from the freezer. The exact same case can be said of the pecan pie. This is definitely not the fine Moodies of old.

I came here on a Tuesday for the first time instead of my regular spot because this place was open and as it turns out, they’re almost always open. I work in construction so when I need treats it’s often on the run and wherever is closest. I got about 20 different kinds of fresh cakes, cookies, biscuits, cupcakes, tarts and sweets for a total deal and it turns out these are their regular prices. The prices were VERY affordable and frankly I was astounded by the loads of treats I got for coffee break. The guys back on-site were totally surprised when I showed up with all these white boxes with a bunch of surprises like cherry cheesecake bites, pineapple tarts, snickers tarts and other things I’ve never even heard of, very exciting because we normally see the same thing from bakery to bakery until this place. The quality. Everything was fresh from that morning. Everything. The case was clean, the shop was spotless, the person behind the counter was actually one of the bakers and answered my questions but was fast and courteous. The labourers and dump truck drivers all asked about where this place was and took pictures of the stickers on the boxes. Thanks Moodie’s Bakery, I’ll be back without question. Brittany from ATC.

This place is awesome! Homey little bakery very close to Greyhound terminal. Walked in at 9am on my way to the falls to get something to eat. Got a mini cheesecake, cheese danish and a gigantic cream horn with cream sticking out from both ends like giant clouds for 5 dollars before tax. The gentleman at the cash was very nice too! A must try :)
