Bakery and deli, also offering hot and cold sandwiches as well as sweet pastries. The bakery has been operational for decades but in recent years has moved focus away from exclusively offering fresh baked breads and "Bakery Style" pizza; to include more quick order lunch items and a delivery section. That is to say Metro Bakery gas expanded and developed it's offering over the past 2 years with consistency.

Great bread, nice and fresh. Stays good for a few days out on the counter. Sliced a little thick for me but other then that its a nice place for a good loaf of italian bread.

I have typically enjoyed most of the desserts I have purchased from this brand, however their holiday-themed confections are definitely below standard. The 'All Butter Icebox Cookies' in particular taste like egg-flavored bile, and most Metro stores have no qualms about displaying bakery products that are well past their expiration date -- a consumer hazard. I really did enjoy a lot of selections by this Bakery, save for the newer problems I've encountered, so I hope that quality improvements can be made in the new year.

Buns and bread always fresh. Pre packaged sliced meat and cheese is helpful, I'm a huge sub lover. I always go here when I want to make my own subs. Pizza and sausage rolls are also very good

I was not impressed. Looks clean maybe it's just not my style of bakery. If you're in the neighborhood give it a try make a call for yourself, but I would not recommend driving out of your way to try this place.

Horrible customer service. The ladies that work there are always so rude when you ask for help. And not to mention they are always out of stock! Make sure you call days before or you'll get there and waste your time. Good bread but not worth the pain .

First time ever I went after 1pm and got bread. Usually at that time all the bread is gone/sold out but today I got lucky! I just have to have fresh bread with my breakfast everyday. The only place I can go to get my daily dose of fresh bread! Love this place! I wish they had a delivery service for their bread! Fresh bread at my doorstep, who wouldn't want that?

Best bread in town.....but you need to get there before they sell out (usually daily just after noon). I can't recommend the pizza dough....it's more like bread dough-----not really suitable if you likea a tin crusta. (like a thin crust in Italian)

This is a little place known to almost everyone that lives in the city. The staff always greet you when you step in the door. It is a family business and they treat all their customers well. It is a bakery that has a number of goods to choose from. Fresh breads, cookies, rolls, packaged deli meats, cheeses. All items are reasonably priced and delicious! I highly recommend this wonderful Niagara gem. ????

I must say it's worth taking a trip to Metro Bakery...all their breads,desert, cold cut... made right at the bakery daily...mmmm slices turkey) home made cookies ..they also have party pizza delicious...make sure you order the party pizza ahead of time...

My friend called ahead for her order and when I went to pick it up the staff knew about the order and quickly brought it out and rang it up. No waiting. The bread looked absolutely perfect. The place was very clean and bright and well stocked at 9.30 a.m.
