Overall, my experience wasn’t great. My cake wasn’t ready on time which was right before close and unfortunately as a result of this I believe it was rushed. Burnt popcorn has a very overpowering smell and taste and ultimately it spoiled the cake. We did our best to eat what we could of it, but I regret that this is what I had to offer my guests.

LOVED the cake my family got me for my birthday! Super moist, soft, delicate strawberry shortcake. Strawberries were extremely fresh. It is to die for! Not super sweet since it’s more of a whip cream than an icing. Matched the cake really well. I highly recommend, and look forward to trying other things from this bakery in the future.

Very cute bakery that opened up. Clever name. Tried their French Macaroons and the Strawberry Cake. The cake was light and refreshing and tasted perfect. However the macaroons were almost too sugary and had 0 flavour in them. I tried all of them and I had vague sugar chocolate and vanilla flavours. However, they are new and a must to be checked out.

Been wanting to order desserts from this place and luckily my bf surprised me with some Valentine’s Day treats from here. Love, love, love!!!! I will go back again and again for their cakes and sweet pastries. The strawberry shortcakes is their signature no doubt. The customer service demonstrates that this establishment care about customer and their needs, and I am not surprised to see very positive reviews by many happy customers. If you have a specific request, they will listen and suggest you what they can offer with a smile. Pre order is always the way, but if it is a simple cake, they maybe able to help you with a short notice.

The cake was delicious, the price is very reasonable. We have tried multiple times and each time we received ‘great value for money’, and the way the cake prepared is ‘quality’. The owner is so professional that our original pick up time was 2 pm, but he accommodated at 12 noon and that too with half hours heads up.

Niti and Bittersweet Symphony did an amazing job on our wedding macarons. They were two different flavours & colours, all delicious and fresh. They looked adorable in our macaron towers & perfectly coordinated with the rest of the cake table. I especially liked that they use ganache instead of buttercream for the fillings, as it is more stable and less overly sweet. I would recommend Bittersweet to anyone looking for delicious & well-made macarons.

Absolutely delicious! I got their flower bouquet for my mom for Mother’s Day, absolutely gorgeous. I was worried about the taste because I’ve gotten “fancy cupcakes” from other bakeries and they were beautiful, but the taste wasn’t as impressive. This was NOT THE CASE with Bittersweet. I pre-ordered a Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake, at my wifes request from Bittersweet Symphony a few days in advance... this was our first time not buying a cake from our former favorite. The cake was beyond amazing. The strawberries were cut nice and thin, and covered the complete cake. The whipped cream flavour and cake flavour meshed so well together, nothing overpowered another, there was ample fresh strawberries in each bite. Delicate, delicious and made with love. This Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake was By Far.... the best Strawberry Shortcake we have ever had. The "Mecca" of Strawberry Shortcakes. My family all agreed. A few slices were dropped off to other family members who were not present. They too agreed how fresh, light, and perfectly balanced this cake was. We kept the leftovers cool, however I doubt there will be any remaining by the time I get home. Bittersweet Symphony, you hit a home run with this cake. We have found our new go-to cake maker. I can't wait to try others, hopefully sooner than later. Thanks again for the superb cake!!!

Absolutely amazing cake! Mr. Pawan (The Chef) literally saved the day for me. The consumer experience and the service is above everything and Mr. Pawan is the best at that. He was extremely responsive and flexible in terms of order placement - I ordered it on Instagram. I had contacted ~5 bakeries across Niagara Falls for a delivery but it was only Mr. Pawan and Bitter Sweet And Symphony who came to my rescue and delivered the cake in time to ensure we had an anniversary cake for my siblings. While the cake was so appealing to the eyes, it was also extremely delicious. He is definitely an artist, and I am so glad that I chose Bittersweet and Symphony for the cake. Thank you so much! Service: 10 stars Prices: 10 stars Flavour level: 1000! We’ve ordered 3 cakes so far from here (the 2 pictured and 1 was their famous strawberry shortcake!) After finding them on the Niagara Restaurants Facebook group we tried them out. Cake 1) Chocolate cake, we’re picky when it comes to chocolate cake, but this IS the BEST chocolate cake ever! So moist, their buttercream icing is so light and fluffy! We mentioned we don’t like a lot of icing and they definitely accommodated to that! Cake 2) Again, another moist chocolate cake!!! Ugh it’s so good ???? Their decorating skills are AMAZING. They definitely listen to the customer and what they want! The strawberry shortcake 1000% delicious, fluffy & fresh strawberries! We’re already planning our next birthday cake!

Bittersweet and Symphony was recommended by social media so I had no previous experience with them. I needed a wedding anniversary cake within 48 hours because the original company I wanted to use fell through. Bittersweet went above and beyond my expectations. They were readily available, responded to my messages and calls promptly(answered messages even after they were closed), and every single person I spoke with was polite, respectful, and easy to work with. Not to mention the cake was incredible both inside and out. Couldn’t recommend this company and cake more. Will be going back as soon as I can.

What a great experience ordering a custom cake last minute for my daughters wedding. Restrictions changed our original plans so I needed a custom cake in 3 days. I messaged Bitter Sweet and Symphony and they messaged me back within 5 minutes. I sent a picture of what I wanted and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. We picked the cake up on Saturday and it exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Fantastic customer service!!

I will justify why I am only give them 3 stars. I won't deny that their cakes look good...or that they earned the following that they have. I have seen some pretty impressive cakes online coming from them...which is why I was so disappointed when I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday...and then again for her Baptism. The cake I got for her Birthday was nice but it was very simple. I blamed myself because they asked me what I wanted and I only gave them a theme. I basically let them design whatever they wanted as long as it kept with the theme. The cake was nice but it wasn't out of this world. So I figured the next time, I would just be more specific with what I wanted...still only to find a decent cake but again, nothing like what I saw on their website. They are also very pricey. My advice is, if you are going to order from them...make sure you have a very specific design because giving them artistic liberty will only leave you disappointed. They are great at making cakes, but their creativity needs a little work. Will I try them again? Probably not. But overall, wouldn't say it was a terrible experience...I just think there are other options to explore.

I found this amazing bakery during the 2020 shutdown. After seeing fantastic pictures from others posting I thought I would try. Wow!! The strawberry shortcake was perfect. I kept reading good things about this place online so I decided to give them a try. I did not have a good experience with them. When I showed them a picture of a cake I wanted they said they dont do 3D cakes as they dont "taste good". Im not sure why the shape of the cake has anything to do with the taste but i said ok. So, i told them a theme i wanted. They stopped responding and it turns out they were too busy and missed responding to my message. I decided to still go for it cuz of all the positive reviews. Well, they didnt ask me anything about how I wanted the cake to be. 2 days before they sent me a pic of a cake they found online and asked if I was ok if they used that as a reference and "did smth along those lines". I thought they would have added some of their own creativity to it but when i got it, it was just an exact replica of it. Was not too impressed especially for what I had paid for it. In addition, I asked if they could put my son's name on it and they said "no problem" but there was nothing on it and had to ask again. In terms of taste, it was alright but ive had better. I think I'll be trying a different place next time.
