The outside is plain and looks sketchy but once inside you will be amazed at the transformation. Food and service was good, better than what we've been eating in New York as we can't seem to find great food anywhere here! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because our steaks weren't cooked how we ordered them. I ordered medium rare and they came out medium well. Hard to eat a chewy semi dry steak. We loved the atmosphere and other parts of food and cocktails. Bread was fantastic. Garlic smashed potatoes were my favorite there. Bathrooms were clean. Short wait to get seated with a reservation on a Friday night.

The owner was super rude. Treated us with no respect for no reason. Food was nasty. Both fish orders were given broken tiny old fish. It's the second time I've had bad food from here. Except the first time I actually enjoyed meeting the owner. The waitress and bar staff were very nice, thankfully. It's dated and smells like mildew in the building. Wouldn't pay high end prices for the low end food,service, atmosphere. Waiting for the owners unprofessional response to come. Good luck ???? To the owners response- With your "kind" attitude towards my table we really didn't feel comfortable letting you know the food was terrible. It wasn't worth being treated disrespectfully for another mediocre fish to come out. You win some you lose some. 2 separate times with bad food and you just stop trying to get good food from a place.

Very cool vibe. I really loved the decor and the bar and the little nook w the pool table. But we left before our entrees could come out. We left our pool game when our soups came. But when we sat down, what we expected - what we ordered - was New England clam chowder; what was in the bowl was grey and slightly translucent, had giant chunks of potato, had carrots, did not have clams, and was grainy in texture. We figured that, if the clam chowder was this off base in upstate NY, we weren't going to pay $70 for a meal in line w that faulty chowder. So...we ate at Chili's, which also isn't great but is reliable and serves identifiable food. Edit: the owner replied and said that we stiffed the server. My husband had 1 or 2 beers (which he got from the bar), and we left payment for those beers on the table when we left. We didn't consume any food, so we therefore didn't pay for any food nor tip anyone for the food we did not consume. The idea that the owner would try to say that we stiffed anyone or that, at 10 pm, we should just start over on a meal order when their clam chowder looks like runny sausage gravy and didn't bode well for the remainder of the food is appalling and makes me think he doesn't understand that we're not obligated to him/them in any way except to pay for what we consumed, which was 2 beers from the bar. Don't guilt trip a dissatisfied patron into feeling bad for your employees. Their feelings are not my problem.

I came here in May, but I'm still thinking about the wings 6 months later! They were the best wings I've ever had, and I hope to get the recipe one day... For entree, I had the ribs and they were fall off the bone! I was bummed I couldn't go to Canada because of covid, and the town is a little sleepy, but I'll remember the great people at Bakery forever.

The decor is unique. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was not flavorful at all. There wasn’t any scampi to my shrimp and the butter was definitely a low quality. The appetizer was absolute trash. This place was a hidden gem. When I arrived to the hotel the front desk agent recommended the Red Coach Inn which is a staple I get it but they closed too early 9pm. I called Bakery Restaurant & Lounge and they told me they would have a table waiting and even thanked me for my phone call. Once arrived I was greeted promptly and I knew right away I had made the right decision. The ambiance is a great treat when escaping NYC the staff was wonderful, polite and welcoming. Now the food was perfect too I had a delicious bowl of French onion soup and a shrimp and scallop pasta It was cooked with love. They had a nice beer selection I chose the Heineken. Would have loved a draft beer selection but I don’t know the trends here so who am I to judge. Well done Bakery restaurant and lounge team! When I returned to the hotel the front desk agent asked (which was also proper and polite )if I had eaten at the Red Coach inn I had told her otherwise and told her about my great experience at the Bakery Restaurant and Lounge she’s now going to recommend!

Very disappointed not only is the place stuck in time from the year it started but the prices are extremely high for the location,I was give a voucher from a family member ,they thought the place had high revenues but as soon as I sat down the first thing you see in the menu is the 5% inflation charge on your bill .they should let one know before purchasing vouchers for anyone.also the food was to dry and the place look like a hoarders dream come true never ever worst restaurant

A few things... 1) The guy who appeared to be the Owner and/or Manager checked on/greeted a table of guests with a different demographic than us, but walked past our table twice w/o providing the same courtesy ???? (very disappointing). 2) Our server Demtia worked double duty as both the Hostess & our Waitress and provided AMAZING service!!! 3) The food was pretty good. Would have liked to give a better rating, but couldn't overlook the fact that we had reservations, were celebrating a special event, and didn't receive the same courtesy as guests who were seated directly across from us.

Amazing place. The person who took care of us, Esperanzo, gave an amazing tour and history of the place. This hotel is an experience. To start with they got the Wow factor right when you enter the place. Found the Bakery Restaurant the last night we were in Buffalo. A small on the outside large on the inside, homey atmosphere restaurant. My wife and I both had the seafood stuffed Haddock and it was amazing as was the French Onion Soup. Service was excellent and the owner takes time to ensure everything is fine and helps bussing tables, etc. The only suggestion I could make is to expand the wine list. Highly recommend this place.

The price on the menu was the price they charged, the place was outdated and needed a major overhaul. The food was just ok. I got the seafood platter and everything was fried. The scallops were over cooked and a little rubbery, the shrimp could have been anyone's frozen per packaged and the breading on the fish just fell off and was gummy. It was medeoker at the best.

All of the servers looked like they hated their lives, and the food was at 4 star prices for a 1 star meal. No one checked up on us to ask us how our meal was, and our waitress was late with everything. My chicken Alfredo was so dry and for the price I paid, I could've had a steak elsewhere. Additionally, the interior is very cluttered and reminds me of a horder granny's house. The decor worked for me in the beginning, but grew old quick when I started feeling crammed in between a retro stove and my table. I will never visit here again, and I will warn anyone visiting to stay away. For what they charge you to eat here you could do much better

Decided to try this place out after a friend's recommendation. Stopped by on a Friday night. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Decided to grab a table in bar area. Limited beer selection. Only 2 beers on tap & mostly bottles. Ordered cup of New England Clam Chowder soup with dinner which was a $1.50 upcharge. Soup was pretty good. Dinner was the Creamy Lemon Parmesan Shrimp special. Service was super slow. Dinner took an hour from when we sat down to get to us. Owner apologized stating all of the orders came at once. The sauce was interesting. Enjoyed the creaminess & flavor over angel hair. Came with 8 shrimp but they were overcooked & a bit tough. $22 is a bit pricy for this particular pasta dish. At that price I would expect a little more finesse & ingredients. Overall a decent place & might be worth another chance depending on the price but make sure you're in a patient mood. Might help if the waitress wasn't covering the bar & dining area. There were a lot of them working.

fresh and flavorful nice atmosphere... okay went back a SECOND time on family's request on vacay from PA to Falls... so it only got better! BEST CRAB CAKE/PATTIES ever! I am 50+ and a crabcake forever-fan and these are the best of all time. Also try the "taco fingers" unique and awesome as well. Finally, we were fighting over the kids mac and cheese - creamy goodness - awesome. Service was personal and friendly. Its a cute atmosphere and concept almost like being in your own dinning room... Don't waste your time and money! Pros: Service was great and the atmosphere was nice. Cons: the food was some of the blandest I've ever eaten. The crab cakes were obviously low quality frozen patties, tasted more like a fish stick for a toddler ($14 for 2, tasted like they cost them $1 for a box). The chicken on my salad and the steak my wife ordered had no seasoning, not even salt/pepper, and somehow lost its own flavor too. All in all, wasted $85 for a dinner for 2.

Amazing food and kind server! I personally recommend Captain's seafood platter. We also had Cajun pasta, NY steak strip w shrimp, fettuccine pasta and all were so delicious!! Very cozy and nostalgic decor keep kids busy looking. Dont be fooled by outside! I highly recommemd this place!!

This place was the most amazing restaurant. We were staying in Niagara Falls for 2 days and our last night we googled seafood restaurant and this place came up. We are so glad we made this choice! The Owner greeted us at our table and gave us a little History about the place and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Just a fabulous man. our waitress Stephanie was great and always checking with us. The food was amazing and huge portions with good prices. Everything about this place was amazing! I would recommend this place over and over!! I will definitely go back when in the area again or even make the trip for a nice dinner for a special occasion.

Possibly the worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. No one greeted us when we walked in had to wait for someone to notice we were there. Was walked through what looked and smelled like my grandmother's house to an extremely small table. Waited 15 minutes before anyone got our drink order and another 20 before our food order. Almost an hour before we had our food, only to find my girlfriends order was wrong.

Took my parents out for their 65th wedding anniversary and it was the first time they had been there! They raved about how tasty every things was! The owner of course came over, asked how everything was, thanked us for coming, wished them a happy anniversary! Two of us had the lobster tail, one had salmon and 1 had BBQ ribs and chicken. The soup was out of this world, it was so tasty and delicious! Salads were nice and cold! Very good experience! Thank you!

An amazing little family owned restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Our waitress told me their ribs were "fall off the bone" and she could not have been more correct. The ribs were cooked to perfection and literally fell off the bone as she said. My wife ordered the fillet mignon and it was cooked as close to perfection as you could get. Their potatoe soup was unbelieveably delicious and obviously home cooked, not out of a can. I spoke with the waitress and she informed me everything on their menu is hand made from scratch. You could tell this was the truth with the amount of flavor and love in each bite. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. My family and I will be returning here every time we come to Niagara Falls.

We visited here with family during a daytrip to Niagara Falls. This place is awesome. Really blew us away with the taste of the food. Our waitress was very nice as well. And was very patient with us while we decided what we wanted with a raging toddler with us. Will visit again.
