Right now the business gets a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and the rating has been based on 127 reviews.

You know that we don't usually stop to give reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Bakery is classified in the category of Farmers' market.
Great market love to see it grow. Great local produce and great local keep sales.
Very cute
Local vendors. Very kind and make great food and goods.
Great place for trying new and various cultural foods! Great friendly people with tons of homemade foods and crafts!
I love farmer's markets they are old school and you just don't see them around
Great farmers market with a wide range of wares. Delicious food.
Really friendly people, great food, wonderful finds, and flavoured Marshmallows!
One of the best activities you can do on a Saturday! Great food, gifts and people!
There is some produce, many crafts, and a number of takeout food choices.
City needs to do something about parking and perhaps hire some proactive thinkers for better organization. Why not operate on Sundays too?? So everyone has an opportunity to go to the market? I find it very surprising that a former bus garage has so little space.. they've taken more than half the garage and used it for office space. The farmers market could be so much more if only it had some more forward thinking people involved. Yesterday, Sept 29th I noticed the rear parking lot was completely empty. Clearly this parking isn't used on the weekend but it was blocked off. It completely eludes me as to why they can't simply open this parking lot for the farmers market on the weekend. There's restricted parking all over the city.. ie: parking between certain hours - the same could apply here.. EASY!
Incredible in every way for local produce and ethnic cuisine
Interesting place. I don't know why they call it a farmers market when the farmers are relegated to the parking lot. ???
Great way to see what amazing things and food the people of newfoundland have to offer!
Great local produce and baked goods! A good place to take the family! Live animals and in the summer the greenhouse is full of flowers to buy!
Great market! Lots of original local crafts and traditional food items.
Lol I got betrayed by the way I can see the attachment file of skating rink in the way I can see the attached file is scanned image is due in it for a while ago is a while to you soon in it
Went to the market with joe & tammy such good food there
Wonderful collection of local vendors. Never leave empty handed (or with an empty belly!)
A smaller farmers market than most cities but a surprising amount of different vendors. Food, crafts, baked goods, wood-works etc. It's fairly new so there is room for growth but I would go again for sure.
Lovely place to spend weekend mornings at. Make sure to check out the wide array of various jams from different vendors, South East Asian desserts from Little KH Bakery and my favourite one of them all, smoked mackeral on pumpernickel by Jonathan Richler (absolute gem of a man!) at The Jewish Deli. I always leave this place happy. :)
Some lovely vendors there and I like the new facility...kind of. I thought there would be more variety of vendors, tables, more space etc but it didn't seem that way when I visited. Mostly food vendors and knitting products. I will try again however!
Cozy little venue for a farmer's market! We arrived a little late but there were still many vendors with their goods! Lots of excellent food, quality homemade products, live music, a fair seating area, and an overall cozy atmosphere. We'll be back if we're visiting the area again!
I love being able to buy local produce, and the Dublin bakery's cookies are my favourite!
Really nice eating area, only wish there was more! #supportlocal
Always fresh local food and friendly vendors
A few food vendors and displays about celiac disease and gluten free options.
Always enjoy the market. Parking can be behind the building of front lot is full. Nice selection of vendors and it can vary each week. Love the food selections there, Indian and Mexican cuisine being among my favorites. Many dessert …
Excellent and Sabor Latino dominican food the best
Nice market with a decent selection. Seems to be improving all the time. Very open and friendly.
Always love what the SJFM has to offer. One of the best ways to support local
The best way to spend a Saturday morning!! Delicious food, delightful vendors, and kind staff.
Clean, great variety, good Covid protocols. Food is amazing.
Have to say they have a lot of different vendors, items, and super fresh farm produce. Wish the farmers listed their prices though so I dont have to ask every single time.
Great space always some great food and chances to try new items
Great experience with so many local vendors
Very nice market and getting busier leading up to Christmas.
Great place to get local veggies, meats and crafts. Can't wait to see the new location.
Excellent layout and lovely selection of vendors.
Lots of beautiful items and crafts to buy. Lots of tasty foods to try!
The market has less vendors on Wednesday evening and only four food places open. We did enjoy a meal from an Afro place and a Caribbean place. We also purchased fresh produce.
Great spot for fresh produce and tasty food! The early you get here the better, as later in the day it gets quite crowded.
Love love love the farmers market. They're an amazing organisation and all of the vendors have something interesting. Definitely try the Ethiopian food.
Great atmosphere, friendly people with everything you can think of available to be purchased.
Lots of local businesses. Great food, great coffee and many local artists including photography and jewellery.
Great place went for the. Indian food they sell oh my god the best
Great family place. Lots of unique and tasty products to choose from. There are food vendors selling a variety of food and drink. Summertime is great for kids who can play in the nearby park and everyone can picnic on the grass watching demonstrations, plays and buskers.
Amazing local artisans and delicious food.
So great to have them here. If only there was enough demand so that it would be open multiple times a week.
The farmers market is a great Saturday pass time, however the building seems to always be crowded so it's difficult to move around inside. I'll be more willing to go when they move into their new building. I thoroughly enjoy the butter chicken from Curry Delight and have a hard time not buying it everytime I go and think many people attend just for their food.
Disappointing little place. Has some charm with the idea of people coming together but it was nothing like I pictured it from the advertising and reviews. It is quite small and there is not a big variety or selection of veggies.
Always an outstanding experience. This year is bigger than before with the addition of a row of outdoor tents.
I visit the farmers market every weekend to purchase bread. The atmosphere is nice and light and refreshing, the vendors are friendly and the items are nice. I would appreciate a deli/fresh meat vendor rather than frozen as well as a …
The Dominican food is really tasty. I like it. The market staff treated me nicely when I asked then something. Also, there is always somebody alert for cleaning the tables.
Really nice popup with tons of different stalls for ethnic and local food. They had a nice few local vendors selling different kinds of merchandise as well. Social distancing and masks were in place.
A lovely community experience, fantastic food stalls, fresh produce, stuff for the kids, friendly folks all over the place, a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon
Enjoyed a Cubano Torta sandwich at Soul Aztecka. Great lunch.
Lots of new stuff every time I go. I always buy mustard, something new every time.
Not as .many vendors as usual but had a good time looking around and q good grilled cheese
It's more than a market - It's a community. Fresh vegetables, meats, crafts, and ethnic foods.
Great little market. Lots of handcrafted stuff, prepared food, and actual farmers in season
Great new spot for local produce, crafts, baked goods and fresh food. Pretty busy on Saturdays but there is plenty of parking behind the building if you approach from Empire Ave near the tax building.
Smoked Brisket from Jewish Deli. Awesome job Jonathan!!!
Delucious Persian cuisine
A little busy but the food and products are totally worth it. Would like to see more seating for the food. GET THE CINNAMON BUNS!
Amazing place with lots of local food and products!
Interesting vendors and food options.
Those Little Pancakes were the most amazing tasting pancakes that we had ever eaten. What a great group of people.
Such an awesome spot. Great local vendors and excellent food, and live music and other events depending on the week.
The venue is to tiny. I expected more selection. Fresh veg is nice. And the guy selling pierogies was the best.
It is an amazing experience, all the people are super friendly and everything is delicious, beautiful and/or quirky.
Seasonally and Locally grown fruits and veggies. Lots of international style (curries, cabbage rolls, jerk) and local food (sandwiches, baked delights, waffles) prepared by vendors. From tiny greens to cheese to grass fed free range …
Best place for ethnic food, fresh veggies, meat, cheese, fish and more!
Great community atmosphere. Really good ethnic food. Really wholesome spot to bring the family.
While the market has a lot less offerings compared to a few years ago it's nice to see it slowly coming back. People were friends, there were plenty of food options and it wasn't overcrowded. Looking forwarding to heading back again some time.
Very good. The people are very friendly and helpful. There is s wide range of goods for sale, both local and international. Also a wide range of foods to eat in or take away. Well served by the number 10 bus.
Great market, no complaints other than its small so you have to choose your time wisely to avoid peak times. Much more enjoyable when it's not shoulder-to-shoulder.
Even though it is a smaller venue there are many great vendors as well as it being a great atmosphere. Lots of fresh produce, meats, crafts and a variety of take home prepared foods. I try to go weekly. Get there early!
Lots of local food and crafts. Interesting and friendly place to spend an hour or so.
Fresh Local grown/handmade items, supports our farmers and economy.
Vendor's menu are not clear and the food is pretty expensive for the portion that you get.
Great various local made items and a large selection of locally grown vegetables and meats.
Excellent variety of traditional food dishes from around the world. Always a hussle and bussle kinda place, lots of people, and artistic venues all around. Be sure to visit, but check the website for events and hours of operation.
Great food and selection. Safaa's Kitchen is fabulous.
Loved it at the old location, and love it even more at the new one! My only complaint is that there's so much good food there that I can't eat it all in one go :)
Wonderful people, great food and other products. One of my favorite places to shop in the city
Nice place, good selection of veges and couple meat vendors. Found a nice tea vendor too. Bit disappointed with the ice coffee which was warm. Would have liked a bit more variety and more baked goods.
Great selection of farmers, artists, and prepared foods makers following the Market's mantra of 'Make It, Bake it, Grow It!'
This was our first visit to the farmers market. We purchased a few handmade Christmas gifts and purchased a cup of fresh coffee. There are several places to grab a bite to eat, and fresh locally grown vegetables etc. If you haven’t visited, it is a nice place to pass an afternoon.
Amazing local food, foraged produce, farm fresh eggs, grass fed free range meat. Love this place, wish they kept it open later.
Such a lovely place to spend a Saturday afternoon. Amazing food from many cultures, local crafts and goodies, and so many fresh veggies! Every one I met was very friendly!
Another successful visit at the Market.
The new location and the environmental consciousness of the new site is amazing! The lunch I just had was delicious. Great to see such a vibrant market. Well done!!
Very good place and great customer assistance, but little variety of fruits and vegetables.
A town without a market, is a town without a soul. And finally St. John's has a dedicated space for local vendors to feature and share their produce and wares directly to neighbours/residents. And the Food there is FAB! Bravo St. John's!
Love going here! Can't wait till their new place opens.
Always love going to the Farmers Market!
Really love the market, diverse selection of vendors and incredible food, only drawback is the forced communal seating in the dining area, a while back there were separate tables, but they seem to have gotten rid of that, if you want to stay and eat, you have to sit with a group of strangers like a high school cafeteria. Hopefully in the summer months that will change, last two times I've gone were very uncomfortable, not a pleasant eating experience whatsoever, very crowded and loud, if you have social anxiety or sensory issues I would advise staying away (or getting your food to go) unless it changes back, a mix of the two seating styles, communal and separate, would be much better
Best pkace to purchase the best fresh veggie's,tea buns and food from around the world. Wow what a treat
Amazing little spot! Good idea to bring some cash and an appetite for some amazing food
Honestly, where else are you going to buy waffles, really good curry, and hometown snacks all at the same place? Did I mention mini donuts and really good, fresh meat as well? No? I should have. That's there too.
We make an effort to go weekly and support the farmers, buy some local roasted coffee, and get a meal every other visit - there is great selection of food on offer - arts and crafts vendors mixed with local baked goods, often a musical act on the go for entertainment. Highly recommended
Small but varied selection of food and crafts you wont find in local stores. Worth the trip
Great food and unique local crafters.
As a vendor,I gave this a go on Wednesday past. I must admit I was very surprised of the amount of people that went through. Being on a evening schedule from 5PM to 9PM ,I had customers at my table almost all evening. Some even came …
It's a lovely spot, very open and full of great products. It smells heavenly with all of the different food stalls. There is lots to choose from and lots to see. Hoping to maybe take in the Saturday morning yoga sessions. The pride rainbow …
Enjoy the experience, try new foods... it would be great if there were more days that it is open to visit this market!
Too crowded for social distancing....especially around crafts stalls ...superspreader potential!!!!!
It's a small venue at present, but they'll soon be expanding into a larger building with more spaces for vendors. It's got regular vendors and those that rotate out each week. The food stands are fantastic, and for fresh produce its the best spot to go.
The farmers market gets five stars because of it's good membership and it it's good friendship to everyone by the way this is Iris Todd Peck's daughter because Todd Peck doesn't know what the farmers market is barely and I am the expert on it thank you and hope you come next year and by the way the farmers market also have homemade food that is so much better than the stores food less expensive and the first thing I will go to is hot mama salsa thank you for reading ????????????????????????????????????????????????????☺️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????✌️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Always fresh! Great selection of Indian curry at Curry Delight. Love the gluten free vegan toasted coconut donut at Gluten Free Treasures! :)
nice people very chatty. . local goods produced right here. and really good prices for local.
Lots of local vendors and vegetables available. Parking is great too.
Very nice place, great different stores to visit.
Great market, vendor products and people. Enjoy going here with the family. Fresh produce and herbs.
Love the market, great place to support local business and eat some great food too
I hadn't been to the new location. I lived how organized and spacious it was. The quality of vendors and food was superb.
Just checked out and taste Fatima's food
First visit and quite impressed with the layout and quality of vendors at the market. Would recommend everyone should visit and you are buying local. Merry Christmas.
There's a lot of nice fresh vegetables. There are many handcrafted jewelry and other parts and crafts. It gets pretty crowded though. A little tough to navigate. There are several kiosks for food. Mostly Indian though. There are a few pastries as well. It's worth checking out.
I love the St. John's Farmers' Market. Lots of fun booths and interesting food. Hopefully they will find a bigger venue for it soon and it will have more outdoor and indoor seating.
Great place to meet local people, taste their food, place to listen some music, play with kids, amazing
Great variety of local goods. Anyone looking for fresh produce will find several farms with various selection. Inside the Market is a host of culture based cuisine varying weekly. Lots of arts and crafts, baked goods, paintings and an assortment of things I dont know how to listicize. Always worth stopping by the Farmers Marker
A large variety of produce, great people, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Lovely new home for the market! Wonderful slection of vendors! Who are all friendly & helpful!!
Always have an amazing time at the market in st john's.
Always a great variety of vendors.
The centers that were there were great, lots of locally made and grown items. Loves the homemade doughnuts.
Great place to get a delicious lunch for cheap. Lots of different local artisans every week.
First visit since it moved and I was truly disappointed with the new "Community" Market that recently opened in St. John's. I was disappointed with the the small number of outdoor produce vendors, the selection, and steep prices. So I ended up going to Lester's Farm Market instead. Very impress with Lester's (see other review). While there I inquired as to why they they weren't at the community market and was advised by the staff that they had been essentially disqualified because the are "too big"!? So much for "Community".
I always enjoy a morning at the Farmers Market. Start off by browsing the craft and many food options. Pick up all your fresh produce then sit and enjoy some ready made food! You can always find some great Indian food and sweets.
Great food options and always leave with a fresh loaf of bread!
Interesting place. Quite busy. Several vendors were not in attendance or sold out very early in the day. Parking was a challenge as it was so busy.
Lots of vendors. Some local crafts, fresh produce, and prepared foods.
Food is really good there you have to try famana food there it so good also a great place to get local vegetables and crafts and handcrafted soaps and bake good and sweet and a lot of other great things. Also the best bread around at …
I was not impressed. There was not much of selection of vendors and it was cramped into some tiny space with no room to move past people. It's okay I guess if your going there for something to eat but the only food booths were Indian cuisine for the most which is fine but it wasn't very good quality. Very poorly put together event and I won't be back.
Excellent. Fire hill farms vegetables. Picked fresh that morning. They grow all their own vegetables locally with NO pesticides. The card lady inside gorgeous beautiful handmade cards, she is so creative! These are cards people will keep! …
Friendly folks with good local products. Will absolutely be back again
Great local vendors, wonderful selection of food
Such a wonderful place , full oh great people , great ideas and great products. My favorite is the stained glass. Also a big fan of the soaps and the international cuisine. This is what our city needed since the 80s.
The ethnic food selection is varied and amazing. Great local crafters as well as fresh veg, baked goods, and preserves!
Looking forward to the new Farmers Market to open but these guys do a great job. Space is tight but lots of tasty food
Wonderful local products, crafts and international food. Tried the Ethiopian this time. Very tasty.
Wonderful local art and food, would like to see more variety, hopefully that will come with time.
Always love it. Great vendors, great food, excellent atmosphere.
Curry delight at the farmers market. Is the best Indian/Pakistani food, I have tried.
Great vendors. Very creative folk . ????craftsmanship. Friendly
its an ok place, somewhat over-priced on many things, but has a great selection
Great to see this old building being used for such a positive purpose. Lovely market and great food hall
Fatima Indian food is an excellent dinner for just $10.
Love it, warm and friendly atmosphere , hope to see it all yearroud
Great selection from local craft makers. The food from Fatima's is delicious, so well seasoned!
Best market ever, nice selection of food and vendors, beautiful building, organized well. Great place to get gifts.
Tried CakeyHand's desserts (i.e. baklava, Gata, eclairs) made locally by Armenians and they were delicious. It would be good to have more of fruits/vegetables, etc. there.
Great place to support local food and hand made goods. East to navigate and clean. Check this place out on Weds and Saturdays!!
Such a amazing environment! The Vendors are very welcoming :)
If your looking to get a feel for local talent, this is the spot! You may spend a few extra bucks but they are dollars well spent. Loves it!!
Lots of crafts and eats for sale. Good for unique gifts.
The st. John's farmers market has a nice mix of fresh, in-season fruit, veg and meats from local growers. There is also the local arts, crafts and food. Well worth a visit.
Lots of variety. Excellent baked goods, jams, preserves, cheese, fresh vegetables, meats and much more. I look forward to going every week, there's always something new.
