It is as good as you are going to get in Deer Lake for groceries. Like most of Newfoundland the produce area is poor, it will last a few days at most, but there is a wide selection. Also in the summertime their water jugs are almost always sold out. Lots of parking and kind staff with most of the essentials for camping and day-to-day living.

There are not many choices here and it is pricy. For some stuffs the bigstop market near it has a more reasonable price and better selection. I regreted to buy lots of stuffs here when I visited the bigstop several days later.

Good place for well-priced groceries BUT there are always pallets and carts full of stock in the main aisles. I wish they could just stock shelves overnight like most businesses with so much stock.

Good service, has deals on sometimes that are good. Meats are hit or miss when it comes to price and portion size and the produce is usually on the crappier side for the most part. They do offer airmile support and turkey bucks which isn't offered by Coleman's in town.

Good selection for the small town it is based in. Great fresh bread and great produce/meats. Other businesses in town have shown to sell expired products - foodland does not. I trust that what I purchase here is before its BB date. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
