Very lovely ladies run this place; friendly service and wholesome food of good value and taste. It seems to be a popular local spot: their Jiggs dinner is highly recommended (served on Thursdays).

The ladies running this cute place make you feel at home. The locals pouring in just mean you picked the right place. Coffee and tea are the usual in this area of the world, but the bakery part is excellent (all freshly made) and seems like the simple menu is also well made in the small kitchen in the back. Was a very nice stop. Recommended to all.

When in Twillingate we highly recommend taking the time to check out the Cozy Tea Room. We had the best breakfast, the breakfast sandwich along with toutons and baked beans.....perfect start for the day. Joyce and Jo (Josephine) have a great place to eat, have a meal or pick up pastries. Great conversation and friendly. A dining experience everyone will enjoy. FYI - cash only

A lovely experience.... We had the tea biscuits with butter & cheese along with a cup of tea and it was a delectable treat. A gem of a little shop that serves up a wonderful collection of culinary options. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Note: It’s cash only

Great selection of fresh baked goods, pies, bread to go. I tried the bread and a few of the treats (cinnamon buns, raisin buns, raspberry swirls), and fresh fried toutons. Everything was well made and fresh. They have a selection of home cooked meals, but I mainly went for the baked goods and fresh Toutons. And when I say home cooked, this really is home cooked. The tea room is in a side room of an enterprising granny's house. You know that every dollar spent here is going to granny and the community.

It’s a MUST!!! Drop in for a taste of local cuisine...this is the spot where the locals eat!!! We had the best bowls of chilli that we have ever had!! The staff are wonderfully friendly and treat you like family!! Breakfast, Lunch or early Dinner this is the spot!

My husband and I travelled for a month in NFLD about 3 years ago. We stopped in Twillingate and saw a sign outside the Cozy Tea Room & Bakery, advertising the Jiggs dinner which we hadn’t tried yet. Unfortunately they didn’t have any more left as it was late.They assured us they’d have some the next day but we told them we weren’t sure if we were staying or travelling on. We decided to stay and returned to the Tea Room the following day. The 2 very pleasant, friendly ladies (owners I think) had reserved a table for us and kept 2 Jiggs meals in case we did return. How wonderful was that! Our meal was delicious, first time and we had a lovely chat with the ladies. A special experienced for sure.

Pleasant "homey" atmosphere with friendly staff/owner. Excellent local home cooked meals. Fishcakes with pumpkin pickles were delicious as were the cod burger! Don't miss it!
