The place is decorated beautifully. Great day to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The server did not know what a macchiato was. Instead settled for a latte that was not incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come here again but probably just try the drip coffee.

We were back in Clarenville area today so we stopped by Bare Mountain Coffee and enjoyed a Blueberry Scone and a lemonade. My wife had cheesecake and coffee, my daughter had Hot Chocolate and a Blueberry Scone and her BF had latte. As usual the food was delicious and the service great. It was warm so we sat in the Adirondack Chairs on the deck overlooking the Ocean. Exceptional local business offering great food and service in a restored home on the water right in Clarenville.

Stopped there for lunch. Didn't have items posted on menu online - Only had waffles. Price was not listed anywhere and cost for two was nearly $40. Had to go get fast food afterwards. Would strongly not recommend.

We have eaten here twice now. Good coffee and mint green tea. We love the deck looking over the water. Snacks/Sandwiches are great. Staff is friendly. We stopped in as a break on our dive from St. John's to Grand Falls-Windsor. I definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing coffee break.

I have been excited to try this cafe for the last year because the photos posted online are so beautiful. I love the look of the cafe and the atmosphere. But there were no vegan options so I had a sandwich without the cheese and it didn’t really have any flavour. The coffee was unfortunately very weak. And I’m a wheelchair user and got stuck in the bathroom and had to call my husband to come help me get out because there was no room to turn around in it. I was told it was a wheelchair accessible venue (it did have a ramp and the table was accessible even though the patio and the parking lot are not) so I was surprised by the washroom. The customer service was good, though.

A gorgeous venue, but disappointingly weak coffee, and unforgiving/inflexible menu ( ie Breakfast sandwich, minus the bologna, was still $9...no offer of anything like cheese, tomato, etc to replace the bologna ).

hands down the best PSL I've ever had!i I wish I would have had more time to shop around but if i ever and back in Newfoundland, I would definitely try to stop in here again. I would rate the whole place at 10 out of 5 stars. the view is stunning! and the patio is really cute!

Great location and views. Beautiful construction with lots of attention to detail. Awesome gluten free chocolate banana muffins. But the drip coffee was only OK. I’ll have to try a flat white next time I’m in the area.

A recommended stop between Bonavista and Saint John's. Although my order for an espresso was pulled too sour, the staff was very accommodating to attempt two more shots. Unfortunately every shot I tried was sour, but they offered to give me something else from the drink menu. Their grilled cheese with apricot jam, pesto, and ham was surprisingly delicious, and their cream of tomato soup was to die for. Their building is newly built and modern. I enjoyed the scenic views from their deck overlooking Random Island.

This café use to be hit or miss, but it has sure come a long way. 5 ???? today for the amazing selection of sweets & beverages. The staff was very professional & friendly. Space is no longer limited due to the fantastic layout of deck space behind & under the café.

Food was good. Not cheap, but tasty. There were gluten-free options. Going in and out was confusing, as was find the menu at floor level. They seemed busy, which was great. We had a super tasty mushroom soup and chicken curry wraps. My ice tea was homemade but sweet with no flavour. Coffee was good I heard. We had to move dishes outside to get a table. The view and weather was gorgeous. We didn't really mind, but didn't love moving dirty dishes either.

A breath of fresh air to Clarenville's coffee scene. The espressos and baked goods are very good. Views are spectacular and you can enjoy the patio in the warmer months. A must if you're passing through the area.

Went mainly for the view. Had deck mainly to ourselves on a beautiful day. The water used for tea is a bit strongly chlorinated and would benefit from filtration. Food was okay, turkey, bacon and apple sandwich but red pepper jelly would have improved it. Overall a nice time.

A must visit when coming to Clarenville. My girlfriend and I were very happy with our experience there. From the moment we set foot inside, we felt welcome. The food was excellent. We shared a sandwich and soup. The Italian sodas were very tasty. The best part was dessert. Even if you just stop by for coffee then it will be well worth it. They have ample seating inside and even have outside seating. You would never that this was a cafe within a busy town. Please make it a point to pop in, you won't be disappointed.

Have passed through Clarenville many times and stopped for coffee..... was looking for a change and googled "cafes" and this location came up. Great location by the water to to stop for a large cup of Americano and a tea biscuit. Will visit again.
