You have all the opinions of people who use the products and services of Donuteria (Bakery) near New Westminster (Canada).
Currently the firm has a score of 4.4 over 5 and this score was based on 52 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is quite good, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Bakery is classified in the category of Donut shop.
All I can say is ......so hard to decide which one to take home????
TL;DR - It's Timmy's, but with a fresh coat of paint To be honest, I'm not sure what the hype for this place is about. Went in and had a classic cinnamon sugar doughnut just to try it out. Sure, it was a good doughnut, but nothing particularly special to write home about. About halfway through our visit, we saw a "fresh" batch of pre-prepared doughnuts come in through the front door in clear plastic bins. It ruined a bit of the mystique of thinking they were making them from scratch in-house. Overall, just felt like I went to a Tim Horton's with a fresh coat of paint, pretending to be a local small business
Do you have a vegan Donut ? If yes, which ones are vegan ?
As far as donuts go, they don't get much better than these. They taste real and fresh This is a specialty, local donut store, don't expect Tim Hortons pricing.
Great doughnuts. They are fresh and the size of them are big. They had lots of filling in them. Worth every penny.
Had the lemon and the Boston cream donuts and LOVED them both. Two of the best I've had in a while.
The maple walnut donut is so good!!
Amazing donuts! Overwhelming amount of selection and each made to perfection. Staff very friendly. New savory options too are delicious. 10/10 would recommend.
Went in Nov 2021 and as of that time, they didn't offer any warm beverages which I feel is a bit of a missed opportunity, in terms of the season and how well it can match with the donuts. The service and the donuts themselves were decent enough but I came at an unfortunate time when a batch of donuts were delivered into the store. The donuts were in clear plastic bins ushered into the front doors and clearly made elsewhere. This doesn't discount the donut freshness but it just broke the ambiance for me. For an establishment that only has one primary offering and it has a bit of a reputation for being local, it is discouraging to see the donuts delivered in the same way as they would in just some generic Tim Hortons. Given the awesome donut scene in the lower mainland, I'd love for this shop to up their standards a bit more in regards to quality and offering.
Amazing donuts! They are definitely not your "casual" donuts from franchise. Donuteria offers fresh, tasty, and one of a kind donuts. Their size are huge and the fillings are so not overly sweet! I was never a fan of donuts but after eating the ones from Donuteria, you'll want another one. Definitely recommend trying!
Great donuts. My fave is so far the sugar coasted raspberry filled. It's so refreshing to see jelly filled without the powdered sugar on top because powdered sugar is too sweet and too messy. Their white icing dipped sprinkle donut is the only criticism I have. Either I bought it and the icing didn't contain any vanilla, and therefore was missing, or it was intentional, but the white icing on the sprinkle donut is cloyingly(?) Sweet. Like it made my teeth hurt. It lacked depth and was just sweet with no flavor. Considering sprinkles are also just sugar, it was too much. Their chocolate sprinkle was better, even though I prefer vanilla. Their tiramisu donut is da bomb, and their oreo one works well too. I was a huge fan of them when they were called by another name, so I wait to see their old flavors return, like maple bacon. I hope they get a little more creative with their flavors, at least one wacky flavor or one uncommon flavor, as their flavors right now are standard (which is ok because they just opened) I'd love to see things like pistachio cherry, or banana chocolate, or orange chocolate, EGGNOG GLAZED, maybe a vanilla snickerdoodle, white chocolate matcha, Blueberry basil, strawberry basil. I... should.... email them flavor suggestions. Lol
So happy we stopped in. We got a raspberry filled and a Boston cream. The custard in the Boston cream was so good and the raspberry filling was jam which was delicious. The store itself looked great and a fun place to sit and eat your doughnuts. The staff was friendly and treated us well! Go there if ya can!
I was pleasantly surprised by my first sampling of donuteria desserts The raspberry filled donut was fresh and satisfying but my impulse buy of pretzel bread was really yummy and will definitely be the reason to go back and try more things
Amazing donuts! So fluffy and flavorful!! Can’t
Yummy donuts but not no coffee available so not great if you're looking to eat in. For me the two just go together. We were told to go around the corner with our donuts and get a coffee at another place. We walked around and got a coffee but no place to sit. Walked back to sit at donuteria but at this point a juggling act with the donut, coffee, umbrella, etc. Not doing that again.
????????????
We love these donuts! We are so excited for a location to enjoy them! Truely the best brioche donuts in the lower mainland. We had these donuts at our wedding! ✨
Tiramisu donut is a must try and Boston cream is also good. No line ups, lots of tables for dine in and nice collection of donuts. Just a 5min walk from Pier park, grab a donut and coffee in the area and chill at the park.
Tim Hortons? I never heard of em. You want something quality? Something mouthwatering? Look no further. Popped into this place and was recommended the Tiramisu donut. I can't lie I was certainly hesitant as I am not much of a fan of the dessert. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Scrumptious cream filling and a generously sized donut too! The staff was quite friendly as well which was an added bonus. Definitely a must have if you have a bit of a sweet tooth.
Donut shop doesn't sell coffee.
Amazing Boston Cream and Lemon Blueberry Glaze. I'll be back...
You got to try them…, soo good, light, fluffy and not filling at all Perfect sweetness, not overwhelming A must try, combined with great coffee
It has been hard to find a place that sells actual quality donuts locally. The ones here are carefully made, with proper ingredients. There is no volume production, rushing things like every chain restaurant. You can tell they take their time and when you walk in its like a little oasis on a rainy day. Will definitely be back when the craving hits again.
Wow these brioche donuts were awesome and light! Many flavors to choose from a few faves were the filled ones! Def a spot to check out and induldge if you like donuts like me!
Pricey, but SO worth it! We got one of each donut and they were absolutely incredible! So fluffy, light, and full of flavour! Our new favourite donut shop in the lower mainland. For people who think they are like Tim Hortons, you are VERY mistaken! I haven’t a donut this amazing since I visited Lees Donuts on Granville Island 3 years ago. Will definitely be ordering again????
Good donuts, big size, huge amount of filling if you're into that. Wasn't too sweet which I also appreciated. Didn't expect to drop $28 on half a dozen after tip, but happy to support the shop.
They only had 5 different types of donuts when I went in on Thursday evening around 5 pm. I was told they make a evening batch at 4 pm but I guess not. The maple toffee donut was good though! Hopefully they can make an announcement in the future on social media when new donuts are made so customers know what to expect when coming in before making their way there.
If you like yeasty donuts, this is the place to come. They also have a super delicious meat and veggie empanada/pie. Man, I have to control myself from buying many of those, they're so yummy!
Premium doughnuts that are priced fairly without needing to drive into Vancouver to get your favourite fried cake doughnut fix! Lots of variety to choose from. My fav was definitely the Maple Bacon Glazed (no pic as it was wolfed down before remembering to pull out my phone), followed by the Apple filled. Pretty looking shop inside with a few tables to sit, but sadly I didn’t notice any coffee or espresso machines behind the counter. I noticed a lot of people picking up orders placed in advance…I’m guessing using their on-line ordering portal which seems easy to use from perusing their website. I saw the owner of Bruncheria working behind the counter so judging from the name of this doughnut shop, and that this was the original location of their first restaurant, this is a reinvention of their first location…this guy is hard working running a premium doughnut shop as well as reinventing his new Bruncheria Beer Garden further down Columbia St!
Excellent donuts. Soft. Lots of filling. The right amount of sweetness. Beats Cartems. Friendly staff too. Thanks for opening in New Westminster!
Honestly... check this place out! Donuts are out of this world!! 5 stars isn't enough to give to this place :)
Good donuts -- lots of flavor. Got it to go but seemed like a nice shop Best eaten in 1 day.
Softest cake-like consistency donuts. Big donuts and great balance between the dough and the sweet topping. Great variety, decent price and worth it for sure. Not your typical cheap mass produced donuts.
Fantastic, big, luscious! I adore the bergamot pistachio, but the plain glazed and jelly donuts look equally delicious. A few tables to enjoy right away. Some soft drinks, but no tea or coffee sadly! Took mine to Westminster Quay, to enjoy!
Amazing donuts!! Just the right amount of filling and not overly sweet. Giving it 4 stars because service can improve a bit…
Freshly made but, for a yeast donut, it's very dense and heavy.
Donuts lack any unique flavor and border on indiscernible. The donuts look good but fail in every aspect besides that. The ingredients also seemed cheap and an attempt at cost cutting - most obvious on the ferrero rocher donut (just tasted like peanuts for some odd reason... maybe the owner has never ate a ferrero rocher?). Not worth the price as there are far better donuts out there for cheaper.
Came in to try one or two donuts, walked out with a whole box. Loved the light and airy texture of the donut and the unique flavors that weren't just based on candy bars
I was impressed with the selection. There were at least 14 different donuts to choose from. All the ones we tried were delicious. Had nice customer service as well.
Oh gosh, the donuts are so good. They are super tasty and delicious! Forget about krispy kreme. First time trying it today, and unfortunately its not going yo be the last, probably i will be there every week for a treat????
Stopped here on a whim and the donuts did not disappoint. Tried both the Bergamo Pistachio and Tiramisu Donuts, both were delicious, but the Tiramisu donut may be the best donut I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.
Amazing donuts, great staff, and awesome service!
Not worth the money or hype. Def. Not the donut place to go to. Seems like they are frozen thawed out. Anyway def. Disappointed
There are a lot of donut shops to choose from these days, but I'm glad this one opened in New West. I would describe the donuts + flavours as somewhere between old and new school. They are nice and chewy, plus the icing ratio is just right. The owner is quite nice. Will be back!
(Translated) The staff are really friendly and smiley! The donuts chosen were a treat! Good value for money (Original) Le personnel est vraiment sympa et souriant ! Les donuts choisis étaient un régal ! Bon rapport qualité/prix
