Made a custom order and prepaid for some cookies and pizza buns. Supposed to pick them up today in one hour from now and they just called now to say they don't have any of the pizza buns I ordered and already paid for. So now I have to go into the store for a refund because Im not getting what I prepaid for and I don't want a substitution. I thought all varieties of pizza buns were made fresh daily? I pre ordered these to take away camping this weekend and now will have nothing. What's the point of preordering if items can't be fulfilled? Why wasn't my order put aside before opening if you have fully stocked shelves each morning ? Terrible service.

Expanding despite shockingly low prices with above average pastry. This bakery has quickly become an institution through community partnership and good business practice. If I'm visiting I'm probably leaving with an armful of very tasty treats. Excited to see how their expansion increases their talented staff and food variety. Congrats SJB!

Such a lovely little bakery with great pastries and sweets and amazing bread. We haven't bought mass produced bread in a couple of months and we will continue to not buy Mass produce bread. Definitely get out there and try this place because it is amazing.

I am in to the bakery often. I particularly like the lemon filled donuts, the cheese bread and the cheesecake, but I am always happy to try new products and am rarely disappointed. My kids love the cinnamon rolls and cookies. This is a great place to stop in!

Lovely bakery with many choices, really reflects more of a European bakery which is so refreshing for our city. They also donate day old items to Outflow and other charities that have been really appreciated! Be sure to go early as they do sell out, especially Saturdays. They also carry some other local items.

Ordered a cake for my wife's birthday, and when I called on her birthday to arrange a pickup time, they had a communication error, and the cake was not made. I asked if they could bake one today, and they would not. Left me scrambling to try and find an alternative cake at the last minute Which at the time of posting this has not happened. Mistakes happen, but this stung. And it will affect my decision when buying bread or pastries in the future. Response to your reply, this was not a misunderstanding, the price was not an issue, nor would if have been an issue to pay in advance, I was never advised to call back, nor advised payment needed to be made in advance, which would not have been an issue. You had my information at any time you could have called and advised me of this, this did not happen.

They have the most amazing and friendly staff who always brighten up my day. Their cinnanon buns are to die for its making my mouth water thinking about it lol. Way to expensive, bread slices way to thin, make a sandwich and it all falls apart, bread wasn't cook very good. Tried hot tea biscuits weren't cook way to soggy . Tea biscuits usually kinda dry. Very disapointed

Today was our first visit to the bakery. I'm only sad it took us so long to visit! We purchased the beef & pork pastries along with the peanut butter & chocolate chip cookies. Everything was absolutely delicious! My husband and I both agree the cookies were the best we have ever had. Not too crumbly and just the right amount of chewy! We will definitely be back! The staff was super friendly, which always makes a visit pleasant. Your bakery is a wonderful addition to the city!

I am always happy to see and help local business succeed. I like to say what is good and also suggest where there could be improvements. Our first time visit was excellent. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. The various types of bread we purchased were superior, far better than supermarket bread. However, I would like to make a couple of comments which if taken seriously I think could only help sales. I purchased an apple pie and although the quality was good the pie itself was so thin I described it as a very skimpy pie. I could barely see any pastry and the filling was almost in the same category. Next visit I purchased a lemon pie and that was of very poor quality, in fact we could not eat it. I also purchased breakfast pastry. Those were not bad but I assume there was supposed to be some ham in the cheese. Well there were teny tiny specks here and there. Had the quantity of ham ( if that is what was intended) been a little better it would have been a lot tastier and then I would purchase those again. But with just the cheese like it was, no! I make these comments as helpful critique and not at all meant to be derogatory. Will I shop again at this bakery, most certainly because overall the products are excellent.

First time trying this bakery unfortunately found pie crust was like cardboard and banana cream pie was hard to slice in pieces. Also hard to serve . Also got homemade beans that where great .
