Purchase boots for my wife early December, as we live 6 hours from the store. Went on sale for "boxing week". I sent an email asking about 30 day price match policy, as most stores have. I would accept an in store credit as well. Email from store pointed to their store policy stating no price match with boxing week sale. Shame on me for not reading the fine print and other reviews for this store. Still disappointed with local small business policy that doesn't match other similar shops I frequent. Seems there are other unhappy customers with their customer service as well. BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM THIS STORE READ ALL POLICIES PRIOR TO HITTING PURCHASE.

One pair of boots I had been stalling on buying, went down to a great sale price and when I received them I was excited to see a litle "gift" included. What a great personal touch! I just wanted to leave a review in regards to my service I ordered these the Sat night before Christmas and I ordered the wrong size. I sent a reply right away, and even though no one was working, someone emailed me right away to say they would absolutely take care of this and make sure the size I needed would be sent. I was so impressed by this. And then Sunday another person emailed me to assure me they would send the correct size. I also then recieved a refund for the price different as they went on sale, and I would never have asked for that. I then also recieved my boots by Wednesday, which I was really happy about???? The boots fit amazing and they are amazing quality . I just felt as someone who has been in customer service for over 24 yrs , have been so in awe of the above service, that this was a well deserved review. Thankyou from a very happy customer.. I buy shoes and boots here for myself and my kids. Yesterday, I had to return some Boggs because they were leaking when stepping in water. I didn't have my receipt, but they keep them on my file on the computer and my boots were exchanged on the spot! It was a very easy. Very disappointed with the customer service. They don't stand by the quality of the product. They told me to use a black marker to disguise peeling on the toe of a pair of Rieker boots. I was blamed for scuffing the toe, which is not true. They need to remember that it's the customer that makes their business a success. Not arrogance.

Disappointed in the lack of flexibility with the return policy. I offered to pay for shipping them back at my own cost to exchange (did not want a refund at all) for a different style. They wouldn't budge. Instead suggested some hacks for getting around a poor design flaw. Very disappointed.

Shoes for the Soul is an outstanding place to shop. I have purchased boots, sneakers and sandals. These products are so amazing I do not have to use my orthotics when wearing them. As a visually impaired person, I have emailed their customer service provider to check about sizing and comfort. They immediately get back to me with information that helps me make my decision. My purchases are done online as I live in Ontario. Even with the pandemic, it doesn’t take long to get my delivery. Only once have I needed to return a pair of shoes and their policy is true to word. This is a phenomenal store, Catherine and Deanna have gone out of their way to ensure I am making an informed purchase. The TAOS, REIIKER and RIAMOLTE are so comfortable it’s hard to believe I’m not wearing orthotics. Don’t hesitate to order online as they are true to their word for everything. Check them out on Facebook as well as Deanna does an excellent job of showing and describing everything. My feet thank you SHOES for the Soul!

Well Melanie Meyer you certainly had a better experience than I had yesterday. I had bought a pair of Sole flip flops last October before we flew to Mexico for the winter. I have had them before so tossed them in my luggage and threw out the receipt. They had an obvious flaw on the strap where the stitching had come undone. So Because I knew I would be returning them I avoided wearing them although the owner said they looked well worn! She told me I could probably get them stitched for not too much but because I didn't have the receipt she wouldn't do anything. I asked if she would give me a discount on another pair but no to that too. I have bought several pairs of shoes and boots there but won't be back. I am sure other shoe stores will be able to accomodate me.
