We hired Meadow to create our cake for our wedding, and she did not disappoint! Our guests raved about it for hours, and it disappeared so quickly that we were lucky that we grabbed a couple pieces when we did! Cake Betty is a great business to deal with, and we will continue to use them exclusively whenever we need another delicious baked good created for us in the Kootenays!

I was in town camping on the Beautiful Kootenay Lake with a large family group. Four of which had birthdays near the time of our visit so we decided to have a group Hawaiian themed party. Not only did you have the cake ready on time ( Actually an hour early because I changed my plans for pick up!) but it was delicious and perfect. This is by far the best cafe in Nelson. The cakes are works of art. Fantastic selection of Gluten Free treats. The Ruben sandwiches are to die for. Omg they even make croissant & bagels from scratch. This is the spot. Go here.

I tried a vegan cinnamon roll and a muffin(v) and they were delicious!!! My boyfriend had a brownie (non vegan) and he said it was one of the best. It’s a cute little cafe. Will visit again when I’m in Nelson :) Not sure why it’s not marked on the map, it’s located on 709 Vernon St.
