I really had to use the washroom so I stop by here hahaha. But I glad I did because I really enjoyed their veggie quiche! My family also enjoyed the baked good they picked as well. This bakery have seating inside and outdoor as well. The side of the bakery have a mural and the outside have three sculptures of First Nation. It was really nice siting outside and eating my pastries on a sunny day. Also there are free cookies if you buy a drink!

The greatest bakery store on the island! You can definitely taste the quality of their materials been using in their food are high. Also, all their staffs are so friendly and helpful through entire experience. Especially, Helen is the greatest person you should ask for if you are looking for recommendations. I would definitely recommend someone I know to come to here. It is worth for me to drive down to here from Victoria every time. Beautiful small town and food.

Awesome local bakery. Staff is really nice, good selection of pastries, coffee, and bread. Looks like they're made with high quality ingredients and baked fresh as well. I had an almond croissant which had almond paste filling that was super good. Actually my first time having an almond croissant that has almond filling. Most other places just use chocolate filling so this was a pretty cool find. Staff was also very nice. I came to chemainus to visit and they were able to give me a lot of info about good places to visit and check out.

Over priced on desserts. I didn’t even finish my hazelnut dessert because it was so over sweetened and bland. Very disappointed. Although we never tried it, the bread looked fresh and good.

I found this little gem while visiting Chemainus. Came here for breakfast and was surprised by how good it was for a local bakery. Fresh pastries and good coffee. They also make pie and pizza dough haha. I was only here for a pit stop though so I picked up some breakfast and bought some cookies to go. They’ve also got day old bread for a pretty good deal.

A small bakery where you can get a lot of delicious Dutch bread and cookies. The bakery has been nicely setup and a you can even have a peak in the kitchen if you want to see how it's made. Prices are ok and the staff is friendly. A terrace is present to sit outside. Coffee can be made by yourself.

We have been going to Utopia for the last 10 years when the original owners were still there. A great bakery with great service and a great selection of bread and pastries to meet everyone's preferences and tastes. The new owners, despite changes in personnel, have kept the tradition going

Ordered a Dutch fresh fruit cake for our daughters engagement party along with an assortment of gluten free baked goods. The cake was absolutely delicious the fresh fruit design on top was beautiful. Many many compliments on such a beautiful and delicious cake. All the assorted gluten free squares were fresh and not over the top sweet. Thank you Utopia!
